    Southwest Southwest Smash Burger

Grateful/ Greatful gardens is one of my go-to feel-good spots for tasty and well done food, and comforting vibes! This is my favorite location for the delicious but not-too-spicy salsa that's made only at this location. This is also the catering location so there's a limited menu here while also offering some unique treats such as the raw vegan dessert cups. The ladies here are very personal and have recognized me picking up food over the last couple years despite me not coming for a couple months at a time. There's a freezer when walking in to your right that features Gino the Soup Man soups, and prepared freezer meals like Shepherd's pie. Lunch time can prove busy but when the weather is right and the seating is available outdoors, this place is a cozy hangout spot for reading or catching up with friends! There are heat lamps available outside to keep you warm throughout the colder months. I'd recommend taking parties larger than 4 at the South Meadows location, as the seating inside can be limited during busy times. Their menu can change slightly overtime, so I recommend branching out and getting what sounds good while it's available. Their breakfast burritos here have been a staple for me no matter the time of day, and frankly, ordering it at the other locations is such a let down because they do it so well here. This last time I ordered the Southwest Smash Burger and it was full of flavor in the first couple bites. I wish there was more lime juice and southwest sauce, otherwise it was delicious! Whether you're dining in for a lunch time spot or getting takeout, this is a spot you don't want to miss! Plus the cute messages that their brand is known for is a sweet little love note to yourself

I went here for a healthy lunch with a friend. Because I'm eating super healthy right now we chose to share the paleo bowl and get it to go. Service was good, there was no wait (Thursday around 11:30). The facility was fine. There were a few tables to eat at if you want. To quote the guy I was with "their seating area is kinda boring. Let's take it to a park". The bowl was super healthy and fine but it left me pretty disappointed. For 22.50 for lunch I expected more. Significantly more flavor. It was just ok. And SUPER over priced. Kale is like 3$. I would not come back based on this experience. I felt bad for the guy who was paying dinner price and he only ended up eating two bites. I do appreciate their frozen soups with real and limited ingredients. I haven't tried them but noticed them and read a few ingredient and nutrition labels.

This place is a go to lunch spot for me since it's so close to my work. Love the high quality ingredients and healthy options. Definitely a good alternative from fast food. I got the grilled cheese sandwich with a potato and leek soup. The soup was super yummy! Be prepared to spend some money though. My meal was about $20 without a drink but know you're getting a really good sandwich. You're definitely paying for the higher quality food. Service is always great, the servers are always friendly and great to spark a conversation. I also love the open kitchen concept, it makes me as a customer feel better knowing that I can see my food being prepared and knowing that they are remaining clean. Check this place out if you need a break from fast food and in the mood for different types of food.

I popped in for quick carry out lunch. This was my first time at this location. It's cute, it's quick, and the food is fresh and delicious. You can dine in or order carry out. And they also do catering. Staff are friendly and helpful and you really just can't go wrong with any Great Full Gardens visit or meal.

Think snack bar on steroids, well...if steroids were super healthy and gluten-free and veganish. This isn't a sit-down and eat restaurant. It's more of a place to grab something on the quick and eat it on the quick. But don't eat it too quickly because it really is delicious. I have been in at least three times since they opened. The first times I was there they had a limited menu and a fantastic looking salad bar. Well due to covid...there is no salad bar...but they sure have pumped up the menu selections in response. Lots of good looking salads and bowls. Burgers and sandwiches. The food came out pretty quickly and the Southwest Burger my wife ordered was nice and hot when it came out. Fantastic tasting and filling. A bit pricey for some...but knowing the quality of the food is the best....I would say it is worth it. I ordered up the fiesta bowl and it was perfectly satisfying and not too filling for a lunch option. They have a small handful of seating options inside and out. And the parking is plentiful right in front of the business. T

I tried the Longley location finally and wow, I've been missing out! Fresh healthy food and a cheerful friendly staff. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat are all offered along with fresh in house made juices, etc. I tried a breakfast burrito and keto bowl, see pictures

I have always enjoyed Greatful Gardens, the one in Midtown and inside UNR when I was a student. They had the best soups, sandwiches and most of all their quinoa salad!    When I found this third location in South Reno, I had to check it out.  This is not to be confused with the third Greatful Gardens location in South Meadows; this is the kitchen located on Longley! I was confused. When I went inside I was so lost cause there were no menus in sight or things to order from.  A very friendly lady greeted me and told me that they do things differently at this location; basically they have a soup station, and a self-serve salad station.  You can also order burritos and sandwiches too.  This was different for me, but I was willing to try.  I had their vegetarian chili, Shepherd's pie, and salad.  They weigh your food for the price.  The chili was good but a bit salty, the salad was very good with a good selection of dressings, and the Shepherd's Pie was very good. I noticed as I walked out that this place was Greatful Gardens Kitchen/market so that makes sense.  Overall the food was good and I would recommend this place as a fast lunch or something healthy.  Definitely recommend for vegetarians and vegans.

We had three other servers stop to ask if we needed anything or wanted to give our order, and once we made up our mind the waiter who helped us did a fantastic job. No pen or notepad, he remembered our order with full detail and not one mess up. As we finished out appetizer, sides, and meal he continued to come by and take our plates, refill our water and my coffee. He was on point. By the end of the meal I paid the bill and gave him a cash tip and thanked him. He seemed happy and thanked us for stopping in and conversing with him. Highly recommend this place to anyone, oh, and the food was on point! Sweet, savory, delicious, and it made me wish there was a place like this back home!

My husband went with the bison, barbecue burger, and a side of fries, and I had the original burger with my choice of cheeses. Everything was prepared and served hot and fresh! We were offered ranch to go with our fries. I had a house made thousands island type sauce (but way better) to go on my cheeseburger. It was delicious. (Their Classic in my photo is probably their least impressive looking burger.) I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. Updated Reno Burger Rankings primarily on quality/taste but also value is factored in but to a lesser degree: #1 Armandos #2 Royce #3 Beefy's tied with The Parlor #4 Archies Giant #5 Juicy's
