I've never been the type to write reviews for either good or bad service, but I feel this needs to be mentioned. I've been a somewhat regular customer at Nick's for the past 10 or so years, and the food and service have always been top notch. However, earlier today (Sunday, 9/29) while waiting for my food at Nick's around 4pm I heard several racial slurs shouted from the kitchen during what sounded like an argument between several employees, and in addition to the racial slurs just overall bad language which should not be used while on the job under any condition. By the reactions of other diners I could tell that they heard them as well. I even got a good look at the person doing the shouting who appeared to have no remorse nor awareness that half of the restaurant could hear what he was saying. Solid burger spot in the IE with decent prices. Purchased a Patty Melt, Grilled Cheese, & Avocado Burger meal & came out to $21.00. Zuchini was great & the ranch was even better. Looking for a quick early dinner while in Redlands, we came across Nicks Burgers, we were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were were cooked to order, the produce was very fresh. We ordered the zucchini fries, they were the best! Zucchini was very fresh, cut very thin, and deep fried perfectly. The ranch dressing tasted homemade, not bottled, like so many other places. I love love love this place! They have the best zucchini and ranch! Something you have to get when you go there. Steve is always there and is very kind to all the customers. When I was pregnant with all three of my children, he would bring me a special plate of avocado just because he knew I loved avocados. My husband and I really love coming here to eat! It's quick service, fresh food, and great atmosphere. I have been coming here for about 5 years and never had any issues with any of the staff or food. Highly recommend this place! read more

Their shake machine has been broken forever! I do love their grilled cheese which I always ask for with pickles and tomatoes. I used to come here at least once a week with my parents when I was young. Even now, although I don't come as often, I love this place! The place gives off a very old school and family oriented burger joint feel. I always have a hard time choosing between the deep fried mushrooms and fried onions. Both are soooo yummy! Really good food! A little pricey, but they give you generous portions. I shared one order with my best friend and we both left full and stayed full for the rest of the day! One of my families favorite burger places to go to. The staff and the owner are extremely kind and they truly care about customer satisfaction. The food is yummmy and the place is always clean. We have been coming here the past 6 years or so, my parents always love going to nicks and getting a regular burger with fries and a gyro - which tastes amazing. This place has decent food at reasonable prices I don't know if it deserves a 4-star or 3 star... we have a men's bible study there on Friday mornings but it's very hard to carry on this Bible study when the music is being played so loud that you have to talk loud and you have to talk over the loud music that Blair's terrible rock music we asked the owner on Friday of this week to please turn the music down so the waitress that was helping us did and she explained to us that she asked the owner but he decided not to do it so if you're looking for a place to have decent food at reasonable prices you might want to bring your earplugs because it music is being played way too loud at 7:30 in the morning read more

Grabbing a breakfast burrito to share with hubby as I wait this day out of my son's first day of school. We had a bacon egg you have to request the papas ( potatoes)to be in it. $5 okay size was enough to split. It hardly had any potatoes though bacon was a decent amount. Their other plates other customers were getting , looked of good quality. Trish the Cashieriest could of been more people friendly, other women bringing your food were much nicer, attentive and welcoming. Place was very clean, pretty busy place for 9:30 in the morning. This place has the best burgers in town. My husband and I have eaten here several times and love the burgers. The mushroom Swiss burger is awesome and their patty melts are ones of our favorites as well. I also recommend the ranch dressing. They make it fresh every day and it's really good. In addition to the hamburgers we've tried the deep fried mushrooms which are pretty good and the fries are good. The onion rings weren't the greatest but edible. The sides are a little pricey for a fast food place $3.93 but you get a lot. We've never eaten there only got it to go as every time we go there it's packed. Parking is limited too. It's a great place to eat and in my opinion better than your average fast food place. read more

Nick's pretty much has it all. The menu covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and pretty much anything in between. The food is plentiful and reflects a quality product. Prices are above average for a "burger joint", but are in balance with the quality product. At Nicks, you always see the "regulars" and Nick's has many. I never do reviews but today nicks pissed me off... I have always been a fan of this place since its local,but today they lost business from me, UofR Sororities & my family. I went to drive thru order bacon hamburger with onion rings with sauces. And the lady was like we don't have green sauces and I was like ohh the red one. 1. I was upset with her tone of her voice 2. So I gave a tip since maybe she had a bad day 3. So i get to UofR I notice I got someone else order so I paid more for someone else meal. The hamburger was wet! I never seen this before! I am a UofR student and I will eat anything but it was nasty! I was going to drive back but my time was limited and I am studying for finals. My friends even said that looks nasty!
