Enrique is the man. He and his staff were lovely. We ordered a small pizza. They were able to customize it for us. Even more special, my lil monster was taken into the kitchen to make our pizza for us. They let her be the one who slathered on sauce and layered on the cheese and toppings. That was really special for her. The hubby ordered a sandwich called the hot yardbird. Apparently the Yardbird is one of the most popularly ordered sandwiches at this spot. It includes chicken, smoked bacon, then ribs of pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, mayo, mustard, and a chipotle sauce. The sauce is something that you need to ask for. The small size sandwich is about 4 1/2" in length it is about $13 and for a full size sammich, simply double that size there's only a difference of two dollars more.... you may as well build the 9 inch size. Yum!!!! There are only a few tables inside but it was more than enough. It seems, most ppl don't dine in here. Everything is to-go. Thank you for the fun time!!

My husband went to pick up some slices & the worker told him it would be better to get a pizza (lower cost). So my husband ordered, waited and brought the pizza back to where we are staying. It was BURNT. So if you are taking out, do yourself a favor & check it before you leave the restaurant. We won't be back.

Absolutely great food. Pizza was amazing - thin crust with overloaded delicious toppings. The sandwiches are as good if not better than the pizzas. Get the pastrami! I can't say enough about the owner - Enrique is the man - 29 years!!!. Service, hospitality, quality delicious food. The go-to place in Mammoth.

Little stop on the corner outside whenever we're in this area we'd like to stop by. love the pizza fresh ingredients the sausage is homemade comes out super hot. I love pizza when it's hot and you take a bit and the cheese just stretches off. Sandwiches are fresh. The bread is fresh. Try the salad. Here is just super fresh. It does get crowded here sometimes there's limited seating inside and outside. They have bathrooms for men and women.

Nik amd Willie has the vibe you expect from a pizza place. Its loud! Staff is hollering at each other over the din of clanging utensils, moving about from station to station, answering phones, a hubbub of activity amidst the aroma of fresh dough. It was fun sitting there waiting on my order, watching the staff have fun at work. At one point a bunch of them broke out into a whistle chorus. This is very much a hole in the wall in a tight strip mall with limited parking and a small amount of seating inside. As i sat and waited on my order, a stream of people kept coming in. A testament to their popularity and availability of parking options outside the retail center :) So what about the food you ask? Solid. Chicken supreme was nice and creamy. The Mexican was zesty and Chee pizza met all expectations. Pizzas were all loaded with toppings. Awesome choice for good 'zza.

Friendly staff and excellent pizza. You get a lot of food for the money here. We tried the Siena and Big Nik and Wild Willie's pizzas and both were great. Will definitely be back next time we're in Mammy.

This hole in the wall pizza place is closed to where I stayed. I was able to walk over. There is a small parking lot, and parking seemed pretty easy. There was a line when I got here, and the tables a were full. It is a sign of good food! I saw a lady picking up 10 pizzas while I was waiting in line! I ordered a meatball sub and a medium pizza. Food was made to order and it was very fresh. The break for my meat ball sub was very soft and yet a little crispy! The pizza crust is thin, and crispy. The topping was not overcooked or dried. They prepared small containers of ranch inside the fridge for customers to self-serve. I will come back again for their pizza! It was well made!

This pizza place was recommended to me by a friend who used to work in Mammoth. I was up here on vacation for a few days with my family and parents, and while we had multiple options for dinner that night, I'm glad we chose here. We got 2 XL pizzas...this was very ambitious for 6 people. Oops. We got 4 different types as half pizzas: Devil's Pizzapile, Big Nik 'n Wild Willie's, Lil Nell, and Volcano. Definitely recommend this just for variety's sake. While I liked all of them (tried two at dinner, two as leftovers), I liked Nik and Nell best. Our whole group was quite happy. Oh and we got Garlic bread and Buffalo wings also, both of which were solid! It's very simple ambience inside, and not a ton of space to sit for multiple parties, but we had a booth that was comfortable for six. The employees were all great, and the owner came and chatted with us for a bit which was awesome. We will definitely be heading back here for our next visit!

Nik n Willies Pizza makes perfectly satisfactory pizza. The crust is crisp and the toppings are plentiful. We ordered the Big Nik' n Wild Willies pizza which had sausage, Canadian bacon, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, red onions, and tomatoes. Our medium 12 inch pizza was $25.40 and had 8 slices. We also ordered pineapple on it, which they forgot to add but they quickly made it right with us. I think their pizza could use more sauce and less cheese. We also ordered a small Caesar salad ($8) which had romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesan, and Caesar dressing. The salad was nothing special but it was tasty and everything you'd expect from a basic Caesar salad, so I had no complaints. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and would consider returning if I wanted pizza and salad for dinner while in Mammoth. Nothing blew me away but I wasn't disappointed by anything either. They have limited seating available with a few TVs, the space is very no-frills and a bit dingy. They take cash and card (no Amex though). There isn't tons of parking on site but there are other lots nearby you can use too. I give them a 3.5/5 but am rounding it up to 4.

Got some really good tasting pizza from this spot after a nice day of snowboarding. Their bacon pizza has so much flavor! Definitely worth a try.

Stumbled upon this place for my wings and pizza craving. Both the wings and pizza were delicious and at a very good price! Portion size was great, but the wings were the main star. I would recommend! Service was super fast and the cashier that was working on Sunday evening was awesome and great! The inside was decently average size with a handful of seatings for a party size of 1-8 people per table.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but this place was busy at 230pm. We ordered at the counter and got our food fairly quick. The pizza was really good and staff was friendly. Loses a star as it was a little dirty from previous customers. If we came through town again, we'd eat here! read more

This place was AMAZING after a day of hiking! We got a hot Italian sandwich. The melted cheese with the lettuce and vinaigrette, chef's kiss. We also got a Nick and willies pizza! Been coming up to Mammoth for over 20 years but never tried to place out. Usually we go to Z-Pizza but it closed several years ago. Got a small Nik and Wild Willie's pizza two nights ago and it was really good. It looked great and was filling. Had four slices for dinner and then finished the last two before checking out the next day. For less than $20, it was a good value. It was pretty busy but service was efficient. Called in my order and my pizza was done on time but there was a lady ahead of me who was pointing out the price on their website was lower than what she was charged so had to wait a little while longer and the line started to form behind me. Oh well, should have to take the opportunity to pay for my pizza once I got there instead of waiting for it to get pulled out of the oven. Will definitely come here again if I'm in Mammoth again and wanting pizza. read more

Good stuff! I was on my way back from Mammoth to LA and was charging at the nearby Tesla station. We were hungry and Nik-n-Willie's looked warm and was across the street. The first thing I noticed was a steady stream of regulars. That is always a great sign. I had their hot veggie sandwich, he had a small Italian sandwich and she had two slices of cheese pizza. Everyone loved what they had. This is a great little joint. Friendly service and I would love to try their pizza someday. As I always say, "I've never met a pizza I didn't like." read more

Hello Reader! This evening I walked from my hotel to N-N-W, to pick up a sandwich. As I entered the joint (if you saw some of the customers, "joint" is a fitting term) and I asked one of the pizza professionals, which sandwich should I get, BBQ beef or meatball ? Both aficionados in tandem, said MEATBALL! Then meatball it is. Garlic, onion, and no peppercinis please. I was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I grabbed a seat and took in the local color, (note the earlier joint reference). After only 10 minutes I heard, meatball to go? Like wow man, that was totally fast, I thought as a dude with dreds passed by. So I wandered back to the hotel, sub in hand. Quite weighty I'm thinking. I hope I'm able to finish it. When opening the foil that it was wrapped in, out wafted the scent of perfection. And perfection it was. I can't believe I ate the whole thing (sorry Alka Seltzer). Now, since I can't budge, I thought I'd write this review. One of the best meatball sandwiches I've ever had. Great roll, sauce, and cheese. So why not 5 stars? Well, though the meatballs were tasty, very tasty, I don't know if they were made from scratch. They were too symmetrical. So until I do know, the fifth star stays on my thumb. Maybe you can ask when you get one, and let me know. Quick Tip: Ask for a lot of napkins. The darn thing is as messy as it is good. read more

Honestly, one of the best restaurants in MAMMOTH the food is delicious. The serve has is amazing and the people there are so kind and sweet. I unfortunately didn't dine in so I cannot review the ambience of that restaurant., I can review everything else. And honestly, I would eat here if you want cheap ( and I say cheap for MAMMOTH because let's be honest. Everything is way inflated and expensive) quality food! I have been in Mammoth for 3 weeks and this is my favorite place for lunch. The food is FRESH, nothing tastes bagged or canned. The sandwiches are made with freshly baked bread . The pizzas are wonderful and the crust is fresh and not heavy or greasy. The salads are the best in town- I just love all their salad's and varieties of dressings. Stumbled onto Nik-N-Willies's while charging our Tesla @ILuvAmp. Italian Sub sandwich was really good and fair price. Prefer fountain drinks to cans, selection could be better. First time in Mammoth Lakes this weekend. Saw some good reviews for this place and my wife and I decided to give it a shot. Quite a bit of chaos in the kitchen with the cooks and other employees continually shouting back and forth about such-and-such, none of which had to do with the business. Got the pizza to go and found it to be the worst we've ever had. Lacked flavor and lacked texture. Plan to go back to Mammoth Lakes but not this business. read more

This pizza is not for you if you are thinking of something light! It is comforting and hits the spot when you are craving a delicious robust meal! They have A lengthy menu to give you some ideas and options, you you can always customize. I got to try Nick and Willys because of Mammoth skiing. Especially after a long drive or a long day in the snow you're gonna want something hot and Hearty! And they have a very long list of options and they also even deliver to local areas. You can also stop by during lunch or dinner at the shop and it's a cute little pizza house. They even have beers and great for the Family. read more

Wow, their pizza is amazing! We had the spicy thai pizza with marinated chicken and it tasted so delicious. They put a good amount of chicken and cheese. I was suprised they put a lot! And if you like thin crust, they have it! The crust was soft and crunchy. It was a perfect balance on one slice. Customer service is great too. They were helpful in getting us to decide on our order and made sure to get it to us as fast as possible while we waited. read more

Nik and Willie's is a hollow shell of a once great local business. After Jill sold the business years ago it's been a fast ride downhill. The food is way over priced and the quality is meager at best. One thing to watch for - if a business can not keep the outside clean or the dumpster free of bears just imagine what the kitchen looks like. When you drive by on Old Mammoth Road their trash is everywhere. Outside appearances can tell you a lot about the business and the management. Keep driving or walking. Save your money and your health. read more

Pizza is great but calling in an order is difficult and they don't seem the friendliest. They give you a discount for "take and bake" but you have to specifically use the word "take and bake" otherwise I don't think you get the discount. I got it for one order but not the other. Also no instructions come with the take and bake orders, not necessary but would be nice. The Tahoe pizza is so good, they're white garlic sauce is my favorite. read more

Came in to order small pizza and spaghetti just before 4:30pm, restaurant was empty and no line and other customers. Was told it should take about 20min or so. Waited in car about 25min. Came back in, waited another 25min the the lady at the register just rude and not wanting help people who've already paid. After cold should I decided to wait in line just to ask the lady if my order was ready. As soon as she finished the ppl in front of me, she picks up the phone to buy a few more min to not talk to me. I've had a calm demeanor this whole time but this lady obviously has something against me. Turned out my food was waiting there and the manager had to grab it for me. Such a shame. Never again, I'm just going to stick with John's pizza work, you'll get served faster even in their busy times read more

This is unsafe and unacceptable, especially for children's food. The steak was ordered medium well, but was served well done -- completely overcooked. The chimichurri sauce was also misleading: instead of the classic green sauce, a red mixture was served that had nothing to do with it. The coleslaw was simply awful. Additionally, the staff showed no proper response -- we were not offered a replacement, a discount, or even a proper apology. This reflects a complete disregard for service standards and customer care. In its current state, this does not meet even basic restaurant standards.

Had we not been in a time crunch we would have turned around to show them what they gave us and request a refund. I've never thrown out food before but these were inedible. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 as the cashier was very friendly.

The service here was great but that's about it. I am legit concerned about all the good reviews, do y'all know what pizza is? This pizza isn't even as good as frozen pizza. It had one flavor cardboard, and was greasy AF. It did have a nice look to it. The crust did have a rise and was cooked well but flavors were not good. I hate giving bad reviews, especially to small businesses with nice employees, but we have never thrown away a pizza after a few bites and we did with this one. Maybe it was an off night. read more

People on Reddit said this is a top pizza place in Mammoth . Tonight I tried the pepperoni pizza from Nik n Willie. Absolute garbage. I now realize that pizza shouldn't be on your mind in Mammoth. Stale dry crust that needed a glass of water to swallow. Cheese is horrendous.
