Pretty efficient method of taking down your order and trying to get you out with some delicious pizza! Our 1st meal at mammoth did not disappoint. I found the pizza to be great in portion and flavor ( I recommend the pizza with all the toppings!), from the sauce to the toppings. You can taste the quality. I highly recommend that you get your food to go if you're in town. Seating is limited inside and for some reason the heaters outside weren't going on the outside patio. I mean c'mon...it was only 18° outside at the time. But at least the beer I enjoyed stayed cold. Overall: If you're staying near the village I highly recommend Mammoth Pizza Co! This spot is located at the village. If you're lucky, there's some 20 min parking spots on the street for take out. It's pretty small very limited seating indoor and outdoors. However, they do offer happy hour menu and slices. I recommend and typically order take out when I stay in a cabin walking distance to the Village. They have a super convenient online system you can order from for pick up. I recommend this for dinner as it can get busy and the line can get long. The Pizza was surprisingly pretty good! I read that they rest the dough for 48 hours. The tomato sauce is on the more acidic side, which I really like. For the area, I do think the pizza is pretty value for bigger groups. They have two sizes basically Large (16") and XL (20"). We usually order the supreme pizza or their version of a margherita. For a 20" Supreme, it was about $50 after tax and tip. We shared between 5 ppl and each person got about 2 very large slices and was pretty full. I ate 1.5 slices . $10 per person for dinner for the Mammoth area after a day of skiing is a steal ! TIP: Ask for paper plates and the red pepper and Parmesan cheese! It gets pretty busy so they may forget to ask you! You can also ask for a plastic bag for the plates and condiments, which is convenient for take out (especially if you walked!). read more

But the young kid manning the register wasn't exactly friendly or accommodating, even though I asked for basic things like a box and plates. Only giving one star because I have to. Had the worst experience here today (02/09/26). The "manager," Daniel, was extremely rude and disrespectful. We waited over 35 minutes for a slice of pepperoni pizza and herb knots. At least four people who ordered after us received their food first. When we asked about our order, instead of providing basic customer service, we were met with attitude. To make it worse, he was cussing the entire time, which is completely unprofessional--especially for someone in a management role. PART 2: Received message from "Danny" "Daniel" see photo below.or text: "First you said 20 minutes then 30 which is not true I will admit I did not put the slice right away but that is because I assumed you wanted everything together which I did in fact mention to you and was not told anything and after 10 minutes came up to me to ask if you can get a free slice? And yes I did time it so that's why I'm saying I'm sorry but your attitude for 10 minutes worth of wait doesn't justify your anger" We asked to be compensated because customers who waited far less than we did were treated better. We were never asked whether we wanted our food together or separate, so please don't make that up. Even after finally receiving our food, we still had to go back up to get the drinks we ordered. Throughout the interaction, we were met with disrespect and never once received an apology for the excessive wait--only attitude. Saying "sorry we weren't up to your standards" misses the point. Our boys, like most visitors, love this place! Decent thin crust pizza and prices are on par with Mammoth prices. Only pizza, garlic knots & drinks kinda place. It's so popular that on a not-so-busy March weekend, the wait for a giant pizza on a Saturday evening was well over an hour. Looks like the place to go after the lifts close. People were walking out with tons of pizza boxes, so super popular for large carry out orders. Shout out to all the staff! These young people were running around, taking orders, getting pizzas in & out of the oven, all while dealing with hungry & cranky patrons! They did so with a great attitude- all of them! I got there about an hour before closing and they had a few veggie slices but that's not exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting 3 slices: a veggie, pep and a cheese slice. The cheese was fresh, but it was a little weird to not have the veggie and pepperoni slice heated back up; for a NY style pizza spot I'm surprised they didn't pick up on that detail. You know what else they didn't pick up on? We arrived from LA around 8:45. By the time we checked in to The Village Lodge, it was a few minutes past 9:00. So we went to a few places and none were serving food. So desperately, we walked Mammoth Pizza Co as they were closing up. They have a cute seating, it's small but nice. Of course they have outside seating as well. We asked to order a pizza and a wonderful lady very politely told us that they are closed. So we grabbed two salads and two beers. As I was standing there, I told her that my son will not eat salad and I am not sure what to do. Suddenly, she said that there is a whole pie here, I can give you that. I think that pizza was going home and it was somebody's dinner. But, excitedly, I asked her to ring up three slices and she did. I think that was the best pizza my son ever had.
