We stopped in to visit this place again and our recent trip to Mammoth. The service was friendly as usual. My husband decided to try the bread pudding. He's used to getting bread pudding up in Portland, where they put a sauce on it. When he got to our condo, he made a quick cream sauce for the top and it was very good. I also bought a loaf of their sourdough bread made with real sour dough starter. It might be one of the only places in town that have it. A nice loaf of bread.

Super crunchy, barely sweet and so so tasty lemon, poppy seed scone!!!

Hidden jam of Mammoth Lakes. While many of the locals know about the place, visitors might be missing on healthy, freshly daily made scones, cookies, loafs, amazing raspberry, lemon squares and many more options... there are so many different gluten free option as well. There is also freshly made organic coffee drip.. and several lunch options. The owner is there ready to help! Place is small, cozy and it smells amazing! Please visit and enjoy!!!

I've learned that I have a highly sensitive nose for great bakeries. It helps that I started baking in grade school. I needed a loaf of sourdough bread so that's what I found at Eastside, however I was thrilled to find an amazing egg salad sandwich AND my all time favorite, bread pudding. All were exceptional. I be back.

LOVE this place! They are now located IN Mammoth Lakes. Service is always amazing, always helpful! Bright and welcoming. Cute place with some wares to buy besides the yummy food. The granola is my very favorite as is the blackberry crumble - YUM!

Stopped by one morning to grab a quick pastry and was surprised at the variety of pasties they had. It was a very small shop but offered many goods. A lot of their pasties were just displayed out in the open. When I asked for a slice of their banana bread, one of the employees took the loaf to the back to cut me a slice. As I was waiting, I noticed that a fly land on one of the other pastries displayed. I still decided to go with my order and eat my banana bread though LOL. I didn't think they would give me the slice of banana bread from the same loaf that was sitting on display; I assumed that they would get it from the back or something. Other than that, the employees were very friendly and the banana bread was pretty good.

A cute hidden gem on the way to and out of Mammoth Lakes. Located at McGee Creek Lodge, it is a small bakery/cafe that has a small menu of breakfast items but plenty of baked goods. Wished I could have stayed for lunch since their simple lunch menu sounded good. Enjoyed the items we got and finished it all. I'm not a coffee connoisseur but iced almond latte was a little too sweet for me. I wish they had options for light sweetness but still good overall. The lady who took care of us was a one woman show and tried her best to take care of everything. She was sweet and very friendly. Overall, a good spot to grab a morning baked good and quiche/frittata on the go. I like where it is located now as it has its attractive and a appealing spot.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is readily available inside of the plaza as well. Lots of doggos visiting with their parents. First walking in it was very toasty lol but you adjust to it eventually. The line situation is a little interesting. When it's crowded, it wraps around and heads towards the back bar and bathroom. It's a bit difficult to navigate to the back of the line or bathroom if the seating is occupied - but manageable. Variety of pastries to choose from! I wish I snagged the coffee cake slice. Reminds me of the ones they'd serve in elementary school back at home (Los Angeles). Every pastry looked to be around $4-6. The staff were extremely friendly and positive. They made the drinks fairly quickly for having such a crowd in the morning. The breakfast burritos are pre-made and kept warm to serve in a display. :) great price point too. Bacon and soy chorizo are available for about $8-9. Mild and spicy salsa on the side. Items ordered: Bacon bfast burrito (4.5/5) - large portion! It was hefty. The spicy salsa was really nice and had a kick to it but didn't over power. The burrito is stuffed with potatoes, cheese, egg, bacon, and pico I think. Would def order again! I just wish there was a bit more bacon. Cortado (4.5/5) - pretty strong and the color was absolutely gorgeous. Not sure what blend they use but I wish there was a bit more flavor. Would def recommend and return! The customers seemed really happy.

Great coffee and a hidden gem!…read more Tucked away next to a gas station, this little blue café is so easy to drive right past--but that would be a mistake. Thanks to a recommendation from a good friend, I stopped in, and I'm so glad I did. From the warm, welcoming greeting the moment I walked in to the spotless restroom, every detail made for a wonderful experience. The coffee was outstanding. I ordered a double cortadito (macchiato) with lavender, and it was smooth, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. Yes, it's a little pricey for the size, but the quality and flavor make it well worth it. I'll definitely be stopping here again the next time I'm in Mammoth Lakes!
