First time visit, I give the waitress 5 stars, she made sure everything was perfect. 5 stars to being a clean neat restaurant. 4 stars for the food, we both order Haddock, which was excellent, but our vegetables weren't that hot (luke warm). the waitress offer to heat them up but the haddock was so good we didn't want give our plates up. Let me say before I began this that I believe this place tried. Nice ambiance... but that just can't even begin to make up for the bad. Our waitress was quite possibly the worst waitress in the history of waitresses. This however was not all her fault. She had a huge section with absolutely no backup from the front management. Can't y'all throw a gal a bone and help her with drinks or something? Let me break this down by meal. My aunt and uncle both got he same meal my aunt received a salad however my uncle did not. There portions were bite size. However they said it was tasty. My mom asked to not have gyro meat on her plate and the waitress said she would give her a little more of something. Nada. I had the grape leaves and I never received my salad and was jipped some of my grape leaves. My rice was undercooked and cold. Horrible. Never got a refill on my drink. Husband got the chicken parm and eggplant and it was over cooked. The icing on the cake however was that at the end when we went up to pay the waitress and the owners started arguing in front of my husband and my uncle. I'm just blown. read more

WOW, not a pleasant place or business. My friend and I went Saturday afternoon ( not too busy ). When we walked in the Hostess would not make eye contact, we had to approach her and tell her we wished to be seated. With a grunt she sat us at a table n told us the server will be by shortly. We waited n waited till she finally showed up. She took our order and then my salad showed up, yellow lettuce, old soggy tomato with one slice of cucumber. Just awful. My friend and I were busy catching up on college days.... after 1 -1/2 hour we asked our waitress where our meal was and her response was the kitchen was behind.... we had been there a long time! So my friend went to complain to the manager who said " ok"..... we stated this was unacceptable and we were leaving and then our meal showed up, just on the warm side. The waitress told me it was the kitchens fault. I told her it was her responsibility to keep track of our meal... she continued to blame the kitchen. So; long story....poor service, horrible food and unfriendly staff. We do Not recommend!! read more

Wait staff was excellent. Food was not the best. I have lived in this area 4 years and had never visited Niki's. So many positive reviews led me to give it a try. The meal I had was very disappointing. And let's face it, wait staff can ruin a meal but not make it better. Many Greek items on the menu, so I ordered a simple Greek omelet. The gyro meat was dried out and tasteless, there was a blob of very bland feta with a few tomatoes folded into very overdone eggs. Last thought--if Mediterranean food is what you crave, there are much better choices right down the street. read more

one of the worse breakfast's I've ever had. Took forever to get our food. Didn't see our waitress again after ordering until we got our food. Asked another waitress about our food, was told it wasn't her table. When we finally got our food, mine was almost inedible. The hashbrowns were rubbery, overcooked, greasy, and barely warm. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and cold. The chicken fried steak was greasy, barely warm, and was almost all breading with almost no meat. I told the waitress about it and she asked if I wanted it replaced. I told her since I waited forever and everything was horrible why would I want more? Nothing was taken off the bill, not even the coffee or tea. I had a couple of bites of everything, and sure enough halfway home I had to stop the car and throw up. Meh squared. The place is dated, food is average, and it never looks really clean. Of course I can't tell if it is clean, but it sure helps to look it. The waitresses seem like they're very busy doing whatever else it is they're doing, so it's rare to get a smile out of anyone there. And if I ask someone for something, I feel like I'm bothering them. That's not a good way to train waitresses. The food is average, I usually won't go there for anything except breakfast. I recently moved to Florida from Michigan. The one thing I miss about Michigan was a local Greek diner. Niki's reminds me of my favorite Michigan haunt. Niki's has a large diverse menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have tried the pancakes with chocolate chips and pecans, eggs, Grits, corned beef hash and numerous omelets. I have never been disappointed. Breakfast is served until 11:30 am. For lunch I have had the spinach pie, Greek salad, the French Dip, Reuben, and the Tuna Melt. All have been good. I have not dined there for dinner, but they boast that their Prime Rib is fabulous. They serve wine at dinner. The restaurant is clean, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Several of the wait staff have worked at Niki's for years. The owner is there and assures good customer service. I highly recommend that you visit Niki's the next time you want to try something new. read more

The owner was horrific. She was rude, çrass and argumentative with a customer in line in front of me. There is an older server at night that is obnoxious and unattentative if you are not one of her regular customers. I find both women insulting, loud and extremely unprofessional and I will never come back. It was my family's first and last time here. Old style been there forever restaurant where you can,still get a great home cooked style meal. They really do a great job of preparing some good evening meals. Breakfast is OK. I have never posted on Yelp before, but after this morning breakfast, I have to. We met some friends for some time to chat and visit on a Sunday morning over breakfast. The waitress took our order and was back only to drop the food off. We sat for maybe a hour eating and talking. As we were finishing up, the waitress was cleaning up the booth behind us and was talking out LOUD to make sure that we heard what she was saying. "This isn't a social place, these people need to leave, how can we even make any money. " That alone is bad enough. Now for the food. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, with over easy eggs. The eggs were over HARD, and when I bit down and there was a bone chunk in the gravy, I had in it. I didn't mention anything because we went there to have a nice time, not complain. The wife said her eggs were undercooked and she didn't finish, but again she didn't want to complain, but I didn't find this out until later on in the day and she told me she was hungry because she didn't finish her meal. Family Restaurant? I think that just means its owned by family. I WILL NEVER go there again. I can deal with some minor mistakes on food, but when we get attitude also from a waitress who is clearly one of the owners and she is just worried about seating to make more money, not if the food she served is good or even giving us good service? Food has seemingly gone downhill. While we love Nicki's on A1A, we've been disappointed the last two visits on Wickham. The taste of my Gyro was off and the meat was dry. My wife also has been extremely disappointed with her dishes. We've decided to stick with The Grecian Garden and Nicki's on A1A instead, which are the two best places to get Greek in the area. read more
