This is now our go to place. First time trying this restaurant. The food came out fresh. We have been on the hunt for stuffed jalapeños. The food we ordered hit the spot. This is a must try location. Thank me later

Great spot right off the DNT! We were surprised it wasn't busier because the food was great, the owners are friendly, and very clean restaurant with nice decor. I would recommend the raw rolls over the tempura ones.

Enjoyed every single bite! The combo rice was delicious the rice was perfectly cooked, the meat was plentiful. This is a must try. The crazy crunchy crab roll was great especially after I added so spicy mayo. The staff is Awesome!!! Great place for Saturday lunch

The owners are soooooooo nice. They know my voice and order and this makes me love them even more. I got the Butterfly Kiss Roll which is rice-less.

Shrimp tempura roll (top), Alaska roll (bottom).

It was a very pleasant experience. The ambiance is sassy and classy, but completely comfortable. The fresh flowers for decor gave it a nice touch. It's cozy with a variety of seating. Chandeliers and lighting fixtures are beautiful. The inside of the restaurant is clean. The bar area is stylish and the outdoor patio is a fun atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the bartender Will was super nice. He was so helpful and took good care of us. The prices were reasonable and the happy hour menu selections were good. ON...Thirsty Thursday's they offer Martini Specials. I must admit I love the theme for Thursdays! The raspberry martini was delicious. The fresh raspberries and flavor is perfect. The lemon drop martini was just ok. It needed more lemon flavor. The charcuterie board was fabulous. It was a perfect combination of fruit, meat and cheeses. Minus the fresh mozzarella, they need to switch that out. The deviled eggs were great for sharing. Overall I enjoyed the happy hour experience. I will visit again soon to try more cocktails and food items. I left feeling satisfied and happy!

The menus were laminated in plastic, which immediately took away from the high-end atmosphere. The dining furniture felt worn and substandard, lacking the comfort and quality you would expect at this price point. The cocktails were equally disappointing, tasting more like standard bottle-service drinks than thoughtfully crafted cocktails. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was attentive, professional, and did everything possible to make the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, even great service can only do so much when the overall product falls short. Dallas has too many outstanding restaurants and cocktail bars to settle for an experience like this. Based on my visit, I would not recommend The Gibson.

They offer a pretty good selection of salads, like Greek, Thai, Cobb, Caesar, and Ranch, as well as dressings of your choice. I like their Thai salad, which has cucumber slices, shredded carrots, romaine lettuce, and red cabbage. They are all very fresh. The dressing is actually what I like the most. It's peanuty, spicy but not too strong, with a subtle tangy and sour note. For my protein option, I've tried their chicken and tofu. The chicken is fine. I like the tofu better though, which is moist, tender, and savory. They also offer seasonal lemonade drink. I've had their cucumber mint lemonade, which is super refreshing especially on a hot Texas summer day! The service is fast. I was there one time during the peak lunch hour. The vehicle line was long, but it moved pretty quick. Give it a try if you want a quality salad at a great price!

I had a promo, which definitely made it worth it. You pick the protein that you want. A few of them have an upcharge if it's not chicken. The salad looks sizeable too. Check their socials because they were also running a year end special for $6 entrees. I liked it and would come back again.

The first time I added hoisin, sriracha, and lime. The second time lime only. The next time I go, I don't think I'm going to add anything to the broth. It can absolutely stand alone and shine. The sandwiches are loaded with choice of meat along with veggies. There's enough sauce to moisten the bread, lightly coat the ingredients, and add another layer of flavor, but not too much that leaves the sandwich wet and dripping. The rice box is so cute! Each item included feels intentional and portioned thoughtfully. I feel like I'm able to build the perfect bite the entire meal. I'm also big on rice as mundane as that may seem, but the rice is soft, sticky, and fluffy. Absolutely how I'd cook it at home. The summer rolls are also built well and HOLD TOGETHER as you eat it. Served with plenty of peanut sauce! So far, I've tried both white and dark meat chicken, the grilled pork, sliced beef, and beef short ribs across different meals and each one has always been juicy, hot, and seasoned/marinated amazingly. Yes, you read that right... the white meat chicken is juicy! Not only is the taste there, but each meal option has been generously portioned with both the meats and accompanying pieces. I'm not one for trying drinks because I always find them too sugary, but my boyfriend ordered some orange and carrot (I think?) drink and omg. It was fresh, light, and if I didn't love him I would've downed the whole thing. I wish I remembered which drink it was because I want to recommend it publicly! If you don't like super sugary drinks but like the freshness of real fruit, this drink hits the spot. The service has always been timely. I've never had to wait an extended period of time, although I've usually gone at slow times of the day. However, everything comes out neatly put together, quick, and hot. I've also ordered through a third-party delivery service, and let me tell you. This business means business. They won't let their food fall apart before it gets to you. They make sure your meal is going to arrive to you in one piece! No ingredients or sauce spilling out of the bag, not once. And last but definitely not least, the owner is a gem. Just a real, genuine kind of guy. He is warm, friendly, and makes an effort to remember his customers. He makes small talk not in a fake, customer service-y kind of way, but like he really is just trying to chit chat and enjoys being a nice person and getting to know others. Go support this man and his business!
