I really don't know how others rated this restaurant highly... i ordered the house specialty pasta and a pork chop (the bottom most one on the menu). I can't even tell you how bad the food was, and I was so pissed I had to pay for this. The pasta was no different than super market raviolli from a can. It was undercooked and the sauce didn't have that deep and fragrant pasta sauce flavor and level to it. Seriously like tomato paste, im so angry i felt like i was played. How can they serve food like that?? The pork chop was extremely dry. Not juicy at all. The instant i tasted the premeal bread, dipping it into the marinara sauce they give you, a red flag went off in my head.. like this sauce is really bland and this is only the beginning. My fiancé and I Ordered out from them and let me say after this I'm never going to an Italian restaurant again unless it is authentic. We are Italian Americans and this was the worst food ever . I had a rice ball as an appetizer was awful stale and just gross went in garbage . Ordered Rigatoni with vodka sauce no prosciutto in it just orange ragu disgusting sauce . I threw that out it was old . My fiancé had traditional lasagna horrible said there was meat in it nope . The bread that came with it was awful don't waste calories here it's awful . The bread and tomato sauce for the table and the Alfredo sauce were tasty. I like that there was only 3 other tables occupied aside from ours, not sure if that was on purpose or coincidence but I appreciate that. We did notice some minor inconsistencies worth noting incase a menu item is why you are heading there. There were some menu dishes that were no longer being made, there were some dishes made but not on the menu, and they couldn't provide a kids menu (online or in person). The reason why I am not returning is the wait, longest ever, even for something as simple as water. After ordering we waited over 30 minutes for our waters and another 45 minutes for the food! We ordered 1 appetizer, 2 adult entrees, and 2 kids meals. We won't be going back. read more

Came here for lunch after a funeral service with my girlfriends family. Asked for waters for the table and we were brought bottles and denied tap water... ? We were a party of 8 and so many bottles of water is just an unnecessary amount of waste. Thankfully, we had some water in the car. After settling in with our own water, a man, who seemed to be the manager or owner, approached our table angrily and asked if we had any complaints about the waters. We said no, because there were genuinely no complaints, we just try our best to limit our waste contribution. He then said "I don't come to YOUR house and bring MY own water." We were all very confused and couldn't tell if he was joking or not. He proceeded to tell us that he could not serve us and that we had to leave immediately. This situation could have been handled much differently, we had no problem purchasing the bottles of water, but we were never asked to. My girlfriends grandmother then proceeded to tell him our situation, how we had just come from a funeral service and just wanted to have a nice lunch, and asked if kicking us out was necessary. He responded "Yes, leave now" and walked back inside. As someone who has worked in/with restaurant management for 5 years, the way this situation was handled was beyond inappropriate. I understand being angry with customers for whatever reason, but there is a way to treat humans (forget customer service, since he wouldn't allow us to be customers) and that was not it at all. If I could give 0 stars, I would! After my uncle's funeral we made a reservation there. There were eight of us. We sat, and were looking at the menu. We ordered coffee and waters. One coffee cup came with lipstick on it, there was no sugar on the table, and after 10 minutes they didn't bring sugar or milk. The waitress brought glasses of ice, and after 10 minutes she brought bottles of water. We asked her for tap water, she replied that she didn't speak English. Then the waiter came back and told us that we could not have tap water, and apologized. We got water bottles from our car. Then the "manager" came out and very rudely said "you have a complaint about the water?" We replied that we did not have a complaint, but wanted tap water. He did not even want to talk about it. He said "this is my house, I don't go to your house and bring water", what the heck does that mean? He then told us he would not serve us, and told us to leave! We have become frequent dinners at Ninuzzio's the food is Excellent and the Service is great. We found the soups to be fresh and tasty. The main meals are just right and the flavor is just so good. A few of the meals I had there I thought my Grandmother came back from the dead and cooked for me. Yes real old Sicilian family recipes that you really will enjoy! We had really bad customer service experience at this restaurant. After a long day at six flags, our family decided to go to this restaurant based on the reviews. The manager informed us at the door that we cannot order pizza so we thought its ok, we will order other items. The food came out good, on time, so everything was perfect in the beginning. During our meal, we felt like we were rushed and towards end we were really disappointed to see our check. The server Rebecca, had charged us $28 for sharing meals with other family members. This was not disclosed at all by her or manager prior. Secondly, there was a $4.79 credit card processing charge. When we talked to server and manager about this situation, they were totally unresponsive and not willing even apologize for the charges not disclosed. On top, even after being dissatisfied as a customer, there was auto 20% tips charge billed on us. It was our first time here to this restaurant. The food was great and the portions were big. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and the red sauce was not watery. Came with a large group and had one of the prefix family style menus. We started with the stuffed sausages and calamari which both were surprisingly tasty. After a long intermission we were given the salads to enjoy. For such a large group we actually needed more salad. After another long wait they started to ramp of the service, the pasta al non a was spectacular ( pasta with eggplants) and the penne ala vodka again was perfectly al dente. After pasta we had the chicken francese which in my opinion was not that great then the eggplant parm, which was good but a little soggy. I would return but stick to the pasta and salad. read more

My girlfriends and I wanted to do a nice lunch somewhere between the halfway point as some of us live in south jersey and the rest in north. After googling reviews, price ranges, driving distances and taking stock of the very limited places that were open on a Sunday's afternoon we finally decided to try this place out. Online the menu was huge and affordable, the place looked really nice, and the good looks delicious. On site, the restaurant was just as nice as it was in the pictures however the restaurant on the website vs the one you get when you're there is really different. Prices were double what we were expecting and once we decided we'd stay because we were already there, it just seemed to go down hill. The waiter/host was our waiter and he just had a very derogatory was of speaking to us. Slightly condescending and would correct anything we said saying you mean this or that. The bread that was given was warm and delicious and then we were served our choice of soup or salad. My soup has bits of undercooked pasta but my friends said they're salads were good. After the quick bring out of the bread and the soups/salads, the wait for food was quite long. There seemed to be a party going on in the main part of the restaurant so we waited and caught up with one another, however we were all extremely hungry by the time the food came out. I'm not sure of the exact time because I was trying to not focus on it too much, but I do think it was over half an hour if not more. The food itself was okay. I got chicken and a salad of arugula, my friend got the ravioli and my other friend got the chicken Marsala like dish that I can't remember the correct name of. My chicken was very thin and dry, the arugula salad almost sour due to the amount of lemon. My friend said her ravioli I was good, but it was literal ravioli with red sauce so I can't imagine it would be difficult to mess up. My friend who got the chicken Marsala initially said her dish was okay but after about 1/4 of eating it said it wasn't special and she didn't want to continue. After a long drive having food that was just average and a menu that was different then what we had seen was disappointing. The waiter continued to stop by in the beginning and then towards the end stopped all together. We had to wait about 25 minutes before we had to stop him from zooming off from the register and then giving us our receipts. After paying the waiters held the door open for us and as were walking out kept saying you're so beautiful you're so pretty. It was uncomfortable and we all zipped out as fast as we could, agreed how the phrases and the looks just felt plain old creepy and then went on the search for ice cream. The food wasn't bad, just not anything special. Menus are different then what's online so beware. And also maybe have better luck with the wait staff than I experienced. read more

Very clean and modern.. Acoustics weren't bad considering the design.. Very generous portions. Had Calamari Mondero app.. Was very very good.. Cesar salad was good. Our entrees were pretty good but nothing really noteworthy.. But, the problem here was service was slooowwwww!!! Certainly nice enough but just really paced poorly. 35 minutes to get appetizers Just under an hour for entrees No real obvious reason as to why. Stopped here after Six Flags closed due to power outrage. Didn't know anything about it. Boy was I pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food was and the service. The bread service had hot garlic bread and a bread covered in marinara. Had the house special Calamari. It was spicy and perfectly cooked. This was followed by a nice salad with a balsamic vinegrette. Main course was Pacherri Alla Mama. It was an amazing dish with a red cream sauce, a nice heavy rigatoni like pasta and loaded with bacon. The bacon put it over the top. Needless to say I enjoyed the meal. Horrible take out service. Served the "Strawberry salad without Strawberries." They gave us other dishes where they substituted ingredients & never told us & they were awful. Nasty staff in kitchen & on phone. Very poor customer service. I started an order & cancelled it because of the added cost for substitution. My husband went there in error & they gave him the food I cancelled. We called & said it was cancelled why did they give it to him. Nasty manager said it was our fault. This was not even close to the worst italian place I have ever been to but it was not great food. The bread was soggy and all you to dip it in was marinara sauce. In the marinara sauce was two huge chunks of soggy bread. It was okay but salty. We ordered the mozzarella fritta for the appetizer and it was also soaked in oil. It was extremely salty and not something I would order again. I got a soup and the ravioli and again both were extremely salty. I don't think I have ever had as much water at a meal as I had at this one. The only reason this has two stars is because the staff was very nice. Have to share our horrible dining experience from last night. First off we waited at the empty host stand for about five sold minutes while multiple workers walked right through us. It took someone eating at a table to go to the back and tell someone that we were waiting. After sitting at the table it took 13 minutes for a server to greet us. We did not get a greeting we got "have you decided yet." This was the first thing said after waiting for 13 minutes. Not very friendly or considerate whatsoever. After ordering, the server never asked if we wanted a soup or salad that came with the entrees (meanwhile we hear other tables get asked what they wanted). After the app he says "main course will be out soon do you want a soup or salad." Never asked what kind of soup or dressing we'd like. The server never asked how everything was, never checked on us. Multiple times they were trying to bring other tables drinks to us. I understand places are short staffed due to covid but this server was walking around tending to other tables and literally seemed like he did not care about us. He was not walking around like he was in a rush to get everything to the tables. Overall it was a very disappointing dinner and experience. Great find! Want to try something new and gave Ninuzzo a chance and glad we did. Food was really good. We all had the special seafood pasta - there was so much seafood in it . I asked for mine in a garlic sauce and to substitute the calamari for clams and they accommodated my request with no problems.
