Picked up a TGTG order here for the first time the other night! Ordered 2 surprise bags & received 2 ginger basil lemonades -- soo refreshing and tangy + 2 vegetarian platters (1 w/ eggplant and other w/ cauliflower). Huge fan of the flavors, ingredients, slaws, sauces, and other menu options like the bagged pita crisps. So many incredible vegetarian options (no meat here btw). Ordered again a few days later and similar vibes but no falafel this time sadly. Great value, adorable location, hard-working staff.

This is such an amazing vegetarian Mediterranean place in the downtown area. Super quick, great service! We love the spicy falafel burger - our go to order always. Their falafels are one the bests - crunchy outside but moist inside and tastes so fresh!!! I love the salad which comes with burger - the least amount of dressing but still taste so good. Also ordered vegan shawarma which was great - spicy and flavorful.

Super cute spot in Tribeca! I loved the clear doors & walls so I could people watch while I was eating dinner. Speaking of dinner, the falafel trio was delicious and reasonably priced! I hope to come back to try more on the menu.

Absolutely love this place and always need to make a stop here whenever I'm around the financial district. Seriously some of the freshest and top quality falafel you'll ever have. I've visited several spots over the country for falafel and this is the spot that beats the rest. I only wish they had a location in midtown! This place is 100% vegan so if you're coming here for meat, look elsewhere. However, I will say you don't need it, that's how good the food is here. The fries are also fantastic, pricing is steep (though not out of the norm for NYC) but the quality is worth it. Very limited seating inside, so takeout is usually the way to go though I'll caution you not to wait too long to eat the fries if you get them since they get soggy pretty fast if in a container.

Nish Nush is a great Mediterranean spot with lots of really great vegan friendly options that's not just restricted to falafel and hummus either. I ordered their Vegan Shawarma ($17) as well as their Fried Eggplants ($8). The former came out in a huge bowl when dining in and was a lot of food. The combination of spiced soy meat with the makings of a shawarma was the perfect meal for sure. However, the "fried eggplants" were more-so panfried instead of deep fried, so not quite what I expected and it was served cold. Not sure how intentional that was but I wouldn't get it again. Service here was friendly and welcoming, letting us stay until they were closing up. I appreciated having options of dining inside or outside making it great for people watching along the streets.

We were hungry and uncertain about where to eat (first time in this area). I checked the map and discovered a nearby restaurant. I'm glad I found it, we loved it! Everything was amazing, especially my Ginger Lemonade. When we arrived, it was raining, so the restaurant was empty. A few minutes later, it filled up with other customers. The ambiance was nice, with the music playing at just the right volume.

I got the kebab sandwich which was packing with flavor. Service was fast and the place was packed. I came in not knowing it was a vegetarian restaurant, but left pleasantly satisfied.

Pretty filling and healthy choice if you're near Chambers Street . The food is mostly plant based with choices like Falafel or Hummus or sandwiches. Get the Lemonana drink , it's a delicious lemonade with fresh mint and really hits the spot . We got a side of fried cauliflower with tahini and while it was delicious I would say only order it if it's at least 2 or 3 people since it's quite a good portion size and if you're alone it will be hard to finish with the rest of your food. I got a Falafel platter which has 9 Falafel in 3 different flavors with salads and 2 pita. I liked the tomato flavored one the best and brought the leftovers home . My friend got the Masabacha Hummus with Chickpea and egg on top and thought it was really smooth and liked it. This place can get busy and seems really popular. Staff are really nice. About 5 blocks from City Hall . Good spot.

So we were hungry! Did our obligatory yelp check and found we were a block from this place. It just so happened to also be a super healthy option so we decided let's go! Once inside we were pleasantly surprised with a great vegetarian menu and smiling faces. Of course we had to try and it and ended up so happy! The food is really fresh, and the flavor was even better. I highly recommend if you love Mediterranean food. And if you don't know if you do, be adventurous and give it a try. The cashier was gracious and didn't judge us for ordering like we brought a hockey team, service was prompt, we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for our food. The vibe inside is relaxed and a great spot for casual dining.

There are two locations in the financial district but I decided to come to this location as they had a big table that seats a party of 5+. There are plenty of high top seatings around. The service is quick to order and they make the food fast. The portion of these sandwiches are really big - enough to cause food coma at work. We ordered the Popeye sandwich which is a spinach a d mushroom falafel - there are plenty of falafel to fill the sandwich, it wascdef not dry and it has a nice crunch. it was a nice balance of the cabbage slaw and the hummus and taking for extra flavor. The Red Hot Chiki sandwich has a good kick of spiciness in the falafel. The Deluxe is a good pick if you would like to try all 3 kinds of falafel. Good mixture and ta a te all around. The Avocado salad was fresh with all the ingredients. It has a nice pesto dressing that was not overpowering. Both original and seasoned fries ahas a good crunchy texture. It is crispy - not oily and not soggy at all.

The food was a bit mixed but overall enjoyable. The Aperol spritz was slightly lackluster, though still perfectly drinkable. The brizola had good flavor, but came out more cooked than the medium rare I ordered. The standout was definitely the dolmathes avgolemono, which had a really flavorful filling and a delicious sauce that brought the whole dish together.

Their attention to your experience and making sure you have what you need shows their commitment to hospitality. Is it Outrageous Hospitality? No, but you won't walk away complaining about service if your evening was like ours. You might, though, give four stars for a meal that was good but not incredible " you want to walk away from a meal - no matter the price - saying "that was worth it" and its hard for me to do that, in this case. Delicious scallops, but the app order is just two (we had nine people and they didn't let us know what we needed to get the job done). The Greek Salad had some of the freshest and delicious tomatoes I've had in quite some time (and, given the nature of the place, you know this has to be a dish they hit it out of the park). We joined together as a table for Lavraki and Sea Bass. The deboning and plating at the table was a nice touch, though I was disappointed in both lacking flavor. The disappointment came with the vegetable offering as the only green option - the broccolini and cauliflower - came as plain Jane as one can imagine, actually making the side a detractor from the whole dish. Would I return? I'm not against the place at all, but I'm certain I'll try other options in Midtown first.
