The Niwot market is a neighborhood market, which will meet all your grocery needs. It's more than a market, because it contains a jewelry store, flower shop and a breakfast and lunch Café. The people are very friendly. In the café, they make great sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Take a look at my Turkey & BLT which was delicious. Stop in and get some coffee and a morning snack. You'll be glad that you did.

Handheld breakfast sandwich & coffee on the patio.

I just moved to Longmont from out of state and discovered Niwot, which is such a beautiful town. I went to the Market one morning and I bought a delicious breakfast sandwich & coffee and sat outside on their lovey outdoor patio. I went back in and bought a few things and will definitely be back often! There's so many wonderful things in their market and very friendly staff. Love this place!

Niwot Market is a staple in the community. Not only do they have everything you may need to cook a fine dinner they have much more. For lunch they offer sushi and a deli that can make sandwiches to order that are tasty. In the summer times they have all you can eat Friday nights that is delicious and includes live music!

This is a great local market focused on fresh, organic foods. It's not that big but it offers a good selection of yummy foods. I went on a Friday evening when they offer a glorious buffet for only twenty-one dollars a person. The night I went they served a wonderful smoked salmon, salad, a variety of grilled veggies, and marinated flank steak. It was all so yummy!!! I look forward to trying it again in the near future. Be sure and bring your own beverage. They only serve tea or lemonade. We took a bottle of Rose to coordinate with the salmon and steak. It is the perfect Friday night date place. Sitting outside and eating these tasty foods was divine!!

My husband has lived in Longmont for two decades, and I've been here for 5 years, but neither of us had ever gone into the store. Since we were already in the shopping center to try a new place yesterday, we went to Frank's afterwards. Bottom line, we've finally found our favorite deli in the area. If it wasn't snowing today, we'd go back for a sandwich. Since we weren't immediately hungry, we instead looked over the meat selection and then zeroed in on the deli counter. I purchased just a few sample items. A bagel (they say it's a NY bagel, and it does have the right texture! Just wish they had whole wheat); whitefish salad (better than any others I've encountered in the area); cole slaw (perfectly blended - not too watery, not too dry); and a canoli, which was flaky and sweet. The deli items have an East Coast feel like no other in the area that I've encountered. Better than anything I found in Lakewood, where I lived before. And, since we just got back from a visit to my Dad in Florida, this was a welcome sight! The soup they had as a special, as well as the sandwich special descriptions sounded yummy, so we will go back, maybe this weekend. The meats also look good, so we will likely try some in the weeks to come. Again, I wish they could somehow create a place, even outside, where we could sit to eat. We could then eat right away instead of having to go home first. But even with that inconvenience, we look forward to more encounters. The young man who helped us doesn't know much yet about the choices, but I'm sure if he stays there, he'll learn. He was pleasant and helpful, asking another employee when he didn't know an answer. It's already busy there, but yes, I recommend going and waiting to try their goods! It's worth the wait.

Being a 6 week resident of Longmont, I'm so glad I found this deli yesterday! It sure beats driving down to Denver. All the bagels and bialys are from H & H in New York. All the smoked fish is from Acme Smokehouse in Brooklyn. The knishes and pickles, also from NY. Considering all this is shipped from NY, the prices are very reasonable! Besides all the NY deli items are regular sandwiches, wraps, soups, etc. for other folks. The inside is small; maybe 4 tables and a couple outside. The one girl working behind the counter was a doll. You really feel like you're in a NY deli when you walk in. The refrigerated case is filled with all my favorites...veal parm, knishes, smoked salmon, whitefish, potato salad, etc. They even had the black and white giant cookies, big chewy brownies, and chocolate eclairs. Eggcreams and halavah are also on the menu. A big jar of duck sauce and kosher dills also for sale in the store! I had an onion bagel with whitefish and it was out of this world. My husband had bagels and lox and it was also wonderful. Right now the store is located at 9th and Coffman right next to Your Butcher Frank, but the girl said they will be moving to 15th and Main by Sept 1st as their lease is up. Oh boy, that's even closer to our house!!! I'll be hanging out here every Sunday morning for sure. And maybe afternoons too! http://www.bleusun.com/index.html

There is time for the back and forth banter you find in NJ and NY so leave the thin skin at the door but understand that it is all in good fun. There is the variety of dishes and so too the aromas. And if you want the vinegar and oil to soak through the butcher paper around your hoagie...no problem! Plus, Steve is moving to a new location soon, on 15th and Main next to Snow Mountain Creamery. Heaven--hot dogs and ice cream!
