We moved to Burbank, Ca in 1997 from Florida where we didn't have Bagel Shops of any kind. We go to Noahs on San Fernando for breakfast and to visit with our friends who it just so happens is where we met them so now its an everyday thing. We get whole wheat toasted with Peanut butter on the side and my favorite coffee is Chelsea. sometimes we even go back for lunch being that we just live around the corner. The Mgmt and staff are the best. They have a great working environment, you never hear anything negative between them. The ordering procedure was recently changed to speed things up, some like it and some don't. I see that its better for the people that are getting orders to go because after you place your order the girls are making it and by the time you get to the cash register most of the time the order is ready. The biggest problem we have in Burbank is that the space is too small for the amount of customers that come to Noahs but like my husband says...its cozy if you love it, but if not... its too crowded. Delicious array of items. I got the pumpkin white chocolate mocha - as good as it sounds. My turkey bacon sandwich was great although they got some of the order messed up (I asked for no onions and they put no Swiss instead). However the sandwich spread (tomato sauce) was delightful and left me wanting more. 4 stars for taste, minus 1 star for the incorrect order. read more

Noah's Bagels is great, so this isn't a review against the bagels themselves, but the customer service here is pretty bad. I asked for a dozen plain bagels, and the lady who was taking my order was basically barking at me in a way that was difficult to understand. I asked her to repeat what she said, and she wouldn't just straight up say that they were out of plain bagels, which seems to always happen. I wish I had gotten her name so I could be more specific. This isn't my first time here, and while the customer service isn't spectacular, but I've never dealt with someone so rude before. She made me walk back and forth from register to register, finally deciding to use the original register I was at, takes my card, and tosses my receipt at me without a word. I can understand if customer service is iffy if the place is understaffed or busy, but no one was in line except for me, and 2 other workers just standing around. I like Noah's bagels, but I'd rather drive to a different location or go to a different place to buy my bagels. read more

Waited 8 minutes for a smoothie because none of the 5 employees looked at the drink screen once until I said something.

The staff was friendly enough and the coffee and bagels were fine, but the facility is cramped and dirty. Good for a bite or drink on the go, but don't expect to find a place to sit. read more

Going to Noah's for breakfast or lunch is always a good. Their turkey chili & even their tuna sandwiches are wonderful. They put some amounts of celery in their tuna sandwich- yummy! Sometimes they even have small challah bread, oh so good! read more

They need to get their heads out of their asses. I very clearly ordered a plain bagel with honey. They obviously didn't understand me. Not only did this simple order go undone for 20 minutes, with orders after mine getting completed first, they forgot mine. I waited and waited and they finally asked the name for my order. No one had put it in, and I had to reorder. By the time I reordered they were out of plain bagels. And apparently honey. They offered me sourdough, which I hate, but took because I was starving, and they gave me some odd honey/butter/with chunks of something in it as a topping. So in summation, not only was the order late, it was completely wrong. But at least it was cheap. read more

Sensible prices and good options for a family of four even with particular members. Went for a late breakfast early lunch, had a yummy yummy soup.... Veggie with quinoa, hardy spooned full with every bite. Members happy makes for a happy mommy. read more

Lef me start with saying the bagels and coffee are good but the order efficiency is TERRIBLE. Allow yourself 15-20mins for a simple toasted bagel and cup of coffee that you can poor yourself. You never know which register to pay it place your order. They are extremely unorganized and slow. With all due respect to a diverse city like LA the person calling (shouting rather) names butchers pronunciation so badly that you're never really sure if you've been called. I work near this location, this is the first time I've decided to review after many times of having a bad experience. Today I stopped in before work and was late after waiting 12 mins for a bagel. Seeing as though I had already paid I told them I would go clock in and come back and when I got there my order still wasn't ready. I then saw her pick up my bagel that had been toasted 5mins prior and started put cream cheese on it and asked her if I can have a newly toasted bagel that would still be warm. read more

Our travels took us to Burbank and after having tasteless bagels at Western Bagel on Hollywood Way, the next morning we tried Noah's on San Fernando Blvd., right in the middle of town. It was a rather cute place inside and very popular. So much so that we had to stand around then grab a table when someone left. One of us had his split and toasted. I prefer mine whole and untoasted. He liked his. Mine was as it should be, nice and chewy, obviously made the right way. We'll go back to Noah's when we visit Burbank again. read more

Great staff - friendly, helpful, no hurry, made us feel like family! This place was hopping on the Sunday a.m. we went.

They need to fix their air conditioner, it is miserable for the patrons and inhumane for the employees!

Not usually a bagel fan, but these made me change my mind. As per a Yelp suggestion, I got a cinnamon sugar bagel with blueberry smear. It was absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, however I will say the service has been pretty shaky the past couple times I've been there. Two times I ordered a latte, they were "forgotten" and weren't made until I was finished with my bagel. I was cool with it the first time it happened but the second time I was annoyed. There's also only about 10 chairs inside to sit, and maybe 4 outside, so you will be very lucky to find a place to sit. Other than that, I LOVE this place! read more

I ordered 2 lox bagels, the service was fast but this place is definitely overpriced. They didn't put both of the sides I ordered, they just put one, forgot my chips:/ the bagels are just average, not very fresh, for $9/bagel could be sth tastier. The worst part is that my boyfriend found someone's eyelash in his bagel so had to throw the whole thing away. Never again. read more

I've been coming to this location of Noah's New York bagels in Burbank for many years. The food options are good if you want something fast and healthy but the service is horrible. No matter how many people they go through as staff, no one ever seems to know what they're doing and half the time the order is wrong. Many of The staff barely speak English and are hard to understand. The trash cans are always overflowing because no one seems to empty them. The management doesn't seem to realize how bad the service really is. It's a shame that such a great place in such a great location doesn't realize they need to have better service and management. read more

Came in to get a late breakfast bagel with my wife and started to line up where everyone was lined up. Clearly no one was ordering where the big sign that said "order here" and we're ordering with the guy at the register. While waiting, a Latin woman in a black shirt told us, in a very rude way, to order where the sign was. We told her that everyone was ordering with the guy at the register but she refused to leave us alone until we went to the "proper" area. So we decided to go there and, sure enough, no one was attending us for a good 10min and everyone that was initially behind us got served. The guy at the register finally asked "why did you go there?" We told him that the rude lady told us to go here. She then gave the guy a different story and that's when we both decided to leave to not cause a conflict. What bothered me the most is that the Latin lady old told us and no one else to me. On top of that, the same lady kept looking at us and saw we were waiting to place an order but she kept walking and ignoring us. Clearly the guy at the register tried to make things right by saying "come on over here and let's get your oder', so I appreciate him. Please look into this lady and fix her attitude. I was craving my usual custom sandwich (everything bagel, pastrami, swiss cheese and jalapeño schmear). It was about 10:30AM so it's pretty busy I get it it's in the middle of DownTown Burbank and people are trying to get some breakfast. Well let me start by saying that the ladies there looked very stressed. I think they were the only 2 people working. I placed my order and the first thing the cashier tells me is that they did not have the kind everything bagels I wanted so I asked for a Jalapeño bagel, they didn't have that either. So I got an asiago bagel pretty much all that was left. After about 15 minutes of waiting around for my order then tell me they don't have pastrami ( so I get a little infuriated because I've been here for too long just wasting my lunch time and I still don't have food. How do you run out of that much food by 10:30AM?). I kindly asked for a refund and the cashier said she couldn't refund me because the person in charge of refunds was not around. I'm assuming she was referring to a manager. She tells me to choose something else from the menu. Kind, but I was craving a hot pastrami sandwich. I'm looking at the menu and I told her to just give me a breakfast sandwich. She told ME to choose something. I guess I was taking too long to order because she told me to move to the side and order when I was ready. Okay! Np! I finally chose this sandwich (california chicken) which was mediocre by the way. I was ready to order, mind you I had been here for 25 minutes already. The cashier tells me to get back in line. I look at her and told her that the line was long and that originally wanted a refund the only reason I'm getting another sandwich is because she kept insisting. She just stared at and welp I got in line. Then this lady runs in as if she was late hops on a cash register on the opposite side ( to my right) and instead of helping the next customer waiting she helps the last customer in line (he literarily just got there). After I asked if she can take my order because I had been there for too long I was hangry and had a few minutes left of lunch. She said "sorry I have a conference call". I waited another 15 minutes for the sandwich. At this point all I can say is that I will not be going back!!! read more

bagel okay. service apathetic. story: i order a bagel with lox cream cheese at the register in the front of the store. that's all i wanted. the guy asks if i want coffee or a drink, "no thanks", i say. i have to now walk all the way to the back of the store to pay. there is only 1 other customer they are helping and there are 4 people working. the guy now starts ringing up the OTHER customer. okay...so i wait a minute and a young lady starts ringing my order and she asks me if i want coffee or a drink, "no thanks, the other guy already asked me", i say. she says, "sorry i have to ask". a few minutes later another employee puts a bag on the counter with my bagel and i take it and leave. ( i had to ask if it was mine since she did not say anything). i bring it to my office and open it up and find it had been toasted so the lox cream cheese is now liquified from the heat and when i pick it up it runs out of the bagel and down my hand. they also did not cut the bagel in half as i feel they should have. what a mess!! if i had more time or noticed what i was getting in the store i would have gone back or had it done again. i did not think it would be assumed i wanted it toasted if i did not ask and for it that way. but neither did they (ask, that is). i guess they only have to ask you things that will bring in more money and increase the ring. too bad. i also think they should ask if you want it cut. won't be back here. read more
