It's no surprise that Noah's has great bagels but I was surprised at how awesome their sandwiches are. They aren't the cheapest at $7-8 but you get a yummy hot or cold sandwich, choice of potato salad, slaw or fruit salad and an enormous pickle. The California Chicken sandwich was delish. Turkey Club was also super yummy. They have a different flavor vibe than other local sandwich shops like....um...Togo's (next door) or Subway. The wait can be a little long but not much more than Togo's next door. Would love to see a location downtown.... read more

My favorite place to have breakfest. The moment you get inside, you could feel the ambience, and smell the coffee and fresh bagel. The shop has windows all around. During cold winter time, sun shine pour through windows, nothing is better than sitting inside, having hot coffe and toasted seasame bagel. There are some tables outside too, in seasons of outdoor, you could really enjoy life, bathing in the sunshine, reading newspaper, talking to your friends. read more

Noah's Community friendly! I recently organized the "Coaches Room" for the Mat Classic Wrestling Tournament on Jan. #rd of this year. Tough time to get business' to donate either money or food for this event, especially considering that we provide an on going buffet for over 140 coaches from around the state and even Nevada. It is the biggest one day tournament for high school wrestling and very prestigious. I luckily had the help of a kind wrestling mom, Yvonne. I had learned of business' that had contributed in the past, and Noah's was on top of that list. Letter head with the districts in script, a letter from the Coach, and Athletic director Clark Conover, and my own letter as to what we were about and doing, I headed into Noah's about 10 days before the event. Rick, the very nice manger, took my info, and put me on the list to pick up bagels at closing the night before our event. When I arrived about 10 minutes before closing, I was kindly received. another person coming in for whatever function they had going on, came in too. We waited and exactly at closing, they started to box up our bagels... 2 boxes later, I was on my way, to pick up a HUGE platter of riblets, donated by the Riata in livermore. BTW, they make great Sammies. I highly recommend the corned beef on rye. Loaded with meat, I couldn't finish it! I really don't think the prices are high as the quality is not in the same class as Togo's or Subway at all! And certainly 3x the meat! Great variety of bagels, coffee, tea, and sammies. So Noah's makes the best bagel I have ever tired and I have tried many a'bagel in my 23 years. Why, when I was a baby I would gum them and cry if someone tried to take it away from me (so my mother says). These days, I enjoy their Sun Dried Tomato bagel with Sun Dried Tomato schmear, toasted, open face along with a large cup of their wonderful coffee. I'm not even sure of the rating yet as I write this since I'm just simply disappointed again, yet it seems like the employees here really try. What is going on where the employees can be so friendly but service still pretty much sucks? I don't think I saw any management type folks so just wondering?? I come here on and over over the last few years usually just me. It does seem to take much longer than the Pleasanton Noah's and I have more issues with orders here than any other Noah's for some reason, despite the friendly service. Today being Father's Day, and to us, "Family Day".. we stopped for noon bagels/lunch. We saw a sign they were out of espresso coming in. OK fine we will be getting lunch. We order and wait about 8 minutes before our name is called. Yay.. food is ready (there was after all only one ahead of us)... nope.. out of cheese too apparently?? They offered asiago cheese instead which we tried but my boys would not eat. They didn't like it so I shared my food instead after waiting over 15 min to get our order finally. Why do they ask if it's "for here" or "togo" if they are going to throw everything in a big brown bag anyhow? Made for a big mess at the table with tons of paper to throw away before we could settle in and eat. Seemed very disorganized today, but again, the employees were at least very pleasant. read more

Just spent over $13 on a Nova lox bagel to go. Paid 5 extra to get "extra" lox. Also asked for bagel to be toasted well. What got was two burnt pieces of bagel, I couldn't even tell if it was an onion bagel) with two pieces of lox. None of the usual fixings that it's supposed to come with like the capers or the cucumber, onion and tomato. The potato salad side was suspiciously warm as the cooler it used to be in has been broken for a while. And no pickle. Noah's, I have to say that I tried. Your customer service depends on who you get. One or two of the employees are great and can get an order right but the majority are lazy, snarky and really look and sound like they would rather be anywhere but taking or making your order. The older woman at the register needs to go. No matter how many times she has taken my order, there's always something missing or incorrect. Won't be going back there and still wondering why they are still in business. They suck! read more

The only reason they are not getting one star is they are the only bagel place in town. Have continually have gotten my orders wrong. Every time I come their order boards are red indicating they take way too long to place orders. Ever since thu started their new order system the ordering has been a nightmare. I went to this location of first street two weeks ago. The guy working at the front was wearing gloves when he put my two bagels in the toasting machine. He then helped two other customers, not changing his gloves after he dealt with their money. After he dealt with their money he turned around and started putting cream cheese on my bagels!! So gross!! You'd think especially during a time like this that they would be extra precautious. Not only did he contaminate my food, he was rude as well. I threw my bagels away and walked out. I'm really sad about this cause I come here at least twice a week but I'm so grossed out I won't be returning :/ read more

I've been coming here off and on for years hoping it would get better, but it's managed to get worse. They use to have efficient workers who knew how to give the customer what they wanted. I guess they got fed up & quit because I never see them anymore. If you can deal with people breathing down your neck while waiting in an oddly formed line than you're off to a decent start. I get the store isn't very spacious, but hey if Starbucks can manage all that chaos into basically the same square footage, maybe Noah's can take a few pointers & formate a few stations of their own. I'm one of those Noah's people who cannot walk way satisfied if my order is not up to par when it comes to 'double toasting', so that's where I've docked off the most stars, due to the frequent occurrence. However I've never found a reason not to eat my bagel, it is consistently what I have in mind when I wake up & decide a bagel is in order for breakfast, so don't let the docked stars fool ya. When it's slow and you have 4 customers come in to buy right at 3pm and your doors are open u take their order with a smile! I had to walk next door n give my money to Togo's .... I frequent this location and I always notice that the manager is very involved in keeping the operations running smooth and the store clean. The older woman looks at me and says this is for you....so I say my name just to confirm, and she nods her head yes. Noah's bagels are SUPER GOOD! Great flavor and always fresh. I love their Egg Mit breakfast sandwiches, which are comprised of egg, cheese, chives, butter, salt, pepper and bagel of choice. They are also amazing with a little plain Schmear. They are awesome! However every time I order one, the staff seems to botch something up; either forgetting cheese, salt and pepper, or more importantly the cream cheese Schmear that I payed extra for. I normally don't write bad reviews because I think everyone has a bad day. However it looks like This place is having several bad days. Whatever the reason is this place needs to turn it around. Today they lost another patron. We have been going to Noah's for about 8 years now and have never been disappointed and it's unfortunate that control can be lost so fast. I read the reviews before visiting this morning looking for the hrs of operations. I didn't find that but I found all the reviews (which were not positive) I almost went to Safeway but decided what the heck the bagels are good and I have never had a bad time so let's go. ok so bagels are SUPER good, fresh lox salmon, good low fat cream cheese and many bagel choices so no cons on the taste However the service is awful, even when they aren't busy it takes forever and my biggest issue is that I have gone here at least a dozen times and everytime I ahve had to have them remake something. I have never had some many multiple disappointing experiences at one place. I think that the last 10 times (I am not exaggerating) I have been to Noah's Bagels in Livermore they have either been out of all of the bagels I like or messed up my order. I just don't think it should be that hard to get a bagel order right. This last time I ordered bagels I got home and part of the order was of course wrong. So I drove all the way back and by then of course the bagel I wanted was no longer available! I just had to get out of there! They did offer me something else but by that time it was too late, I did not want it. I wanted what I ordered! So I just left without even a refund; free money for them I guess. I just can't believe people could be so incompetent that they can't make a bagel right. I should have learned my lesson the first ten times and checked the bag, but I just wanted to believe they could do it. My faith in them is gone. My favorite Noah's. They have the BEST iced-coffee for that price. It is better than any other Noah's Bagels for sure. It is strong and flavorful. Plus, you can get a fresh bagel which is more than you can say for most coffee places. I think they do a great job. My favorite is a blueberry bagel with honey almond cream cheese. The workers there try their best but either due to understaffing, poor management, other (?)..... patrons suffer through long-lines, inconsistent quality and unbelievably long waits just for a bagel. I frequent other Noah's Bagels locations that have as much foot traffic and somehow they get you in and out in a reasonable time.
