I want to start off and say that the nail tech - Monica did a great job and was very nice and gentle and really did her very best on this complicated set. However ..management needs some serious work. Not only did I have to wait 1hr after my appointment time...once I got help they tried to take my nail tech mid service to service someone else. Mind you we were already 20min in to the service. They were going to take the nail tech from and make me wait Again for someone else who would become available. Then this set was $120 +tip ....they try to charge you for absolutely every little detail. The studio is always so clean, beautiful, and aesthetic, which makes every visit feel relaxing. I called to see if they could fit me in and the super friendly front desk girl (totally forgot to get her name) let me know I could come in right away. She assessed my nails and informed me that they could execute the nails I wanted and that I wouldn't have to settle for just a solid polish color. She was also very transparent about pricing. My nail tech Xuan was amazing!! She started filing off the old polish and noticed that I had gel all over my cuticles from the other salon and took an extra 10 minutes to meticulously and gently remove it before starting on my nail design. She showed me different base color options and asked for my opinion each step of the way. I also mentioned that I thought the almond shape was too sharp so she quickly filed and shaped it to suit my hands better. Her attention to detail, thoroughness, and friendly demeanor really made me feel so much more relaxed because I knew I could trust her to deliver and she did!! On top of the friendly service from everyone involved, they did not charge me to reshape my nails as a wedding gift which was so so sweet considering I am a first time client. Lastly- I did not get a pedicure but I did notice that after each client, they not only change the plastic lining, but they also spray and scrub down the tubs. Sanitization and cleanliness is something I will always notice because of how quickly infections can spread at nail salons if not careful. I got the milk honey pedicure and let me tell you, it was DIVINE. The massage, the care and detail put into it really made my self care day that much better. I highly recommend when you need a treat yoself day! My sister and I also took our mom here for Mother's Day and treated her to the head spa service. The staff did a nice job, and I was happy with the quality of my nails. However, I was disappointed with some of the complimentary services. I was offered a drink, but they brought me a small plastic cup of water that wasn't even full. It felt cheap and not very welcoming. I was also surprised that there was no WiFi available for customers. I requested a marble French tip; however, I had to go back and forth several times to convince her to do the design I wanted. The woman working beside us even offered suggestions to her on how she could do the design with the materials they had available. She declined and offered me suggestions on other options for my nails. It wasn't until later in the process she agreed to do the design I originally requested. The pricing was also not transparent. We had discussed pricing before my nails were done and an extra fee of "extra" was added that was not previously discussed. Today was my first visit to Noble Nail and Head Spa Studio. Noble Nail and Head Spa Studio is located in the Cerritos Triangle Shopping Center on 183rd street and Gridley road. There is plenty of parking and it was great to see private security patrolling the parking lot! The studio is spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated in a modern chic design which exudes a sense of calm and relaxation just upon entering. Everything is shiny and new and there was attention given to each and every detail. The spa offers a wide array of services such as manicures, pedicures, acrylic/gel x nails, waxing, eyelash extensions, facials, and head spa scalp facials! In the past year or so I'd seen the "head spa trend" online and was intrigued but I hadn't found a spa that I felt comfortable trying. Until today! I was inclined to try Noble because it is new, well situated, and offers scalp facials in a private and designated area within the spa. I scheduled my Luxury Scalp Spa service (120 minutes) online and selected Kelly 1 which was a great choice! Kelly was very knowledgeable about scalp health and during my visit informed me about the importance of scalp treatments and how they support healthy strong hair. My services started off with the magnification of my scalp and look at my hair follicles which was eye opening! Then we proceeded to the beautiful and tranquil scalp facial room which offered beautiful compression beds that massaged and compressed my entire body while receiving my scalp and face facials! There was amazing aroma therapy scents and quiet and relaxing music playing the entire time! I must have dosed off a time or two... I felt as if I was drifting away during my services. At the end of my services Kelly proceeded to blow dry my hair using products that left my hair shiny and soft...which isn't easy as I have waist length color treated hair. When my services were over I made my way to the register and honestly was so relaxed I wasn't sure I'd be able to drive home right away. I'm assuming that sensation was not only the effects of the relaxation but also the compression bed coupled with the head, shoulder, and neck massage that moved quite a bit of blood to my head. Just lovely. I look forward to returning to Noble in a couple of weeks to get a full set of Gel X and a pedicure so stay tuned for that review! In the meantime, give Noble a try... The gel x was with Holly, and my cat eye turned out great! The Asian guy who did my manicure was great too. So was the lady that did my head spa. I visited this nail salon about a week ago. I initially walked in and was told by, I believe, Mary that she wanted to schedule me with someone who was very good at acrylics. I then made an appointment for the same day at 5:30 PM. When 5:00 PM came, I was asked to come back at 6:30 PM because Jennifer was running behind. Jennifer began my service, and after I chose a color, she recommended a more expensive gel color, saying it would look better. During the service, she noticed that one of my nails was lifting and said she was going to clip it. Instead, the nail was accidentally removed completely, and I was still charged for that nail. I also showed a reference for the style I wanted, but the final result did not turn out as expected. I was surprised by the total cost of the fill, as I typically pay around $80 depending on the design, and this was a fairly simple design. I was there for two hours getting my nails done.... The next day, I returned with my mom for a pedicure and was again assigned to Jennifer. During the pedicure, she dug very deeply into my toe, which was painful at the time. I felt that something was wrong because of how much she poked and pulled. The following morning, my toe was extremely sore, and by the next day, there was pus coming from the area. It has now been about a week, and there is still pus coming from my toe. I will not be going back. read more

First time here and I was impressed with the layout and ambiance. Came on a Saturday at 6pm and was seated right away. Customer service was great, both manicurist and for my pedicure. I got French tips with builder gel for my mani since my nails were pretty long already. I've had builder gel from other places before and never had it this thick- I did not like that. I also had to ask to file a few nails straight because it was slanted and uneven. I got a gel pedi with a massage. I should've passed on paying extra for the package with a longer massage- it was literally just rubbing lotion on my legs and feet, no pressure at all, followed my hot stones. It cost $172 total to leave unsatisfied and disappointed (NOT including tip). My friend came with me and got a mani pedi also and she noticed she can still see the old acrylic at the base of her nail. read more

I went to this place very hopeful and excited, but left extremely disappointed and upset. I spent $200 total here for a Volcanic pedicure, gel manicure, and European facial. I do want to say the pedicure and manicure were decent, however the actual outcome of the pedicure and manicure were standard compared to other nail salons I've been to that are definitely more affordable (it was $100 for the mani/pedi here). Also the "massage" they offer as part of their mani/pedi was basically having lotion gently rubbed on your skin for the timed 10 minutes. The biggest disappointment was the European facial, which was $87 for 60 minutes, which included an upgrade of have a deep cleanse compared to the Express facial that was 45 minutes for $60. Right from the start of entering the room for my facial, I knew it was not going to be a pleasant experience. I have to say this was literally the worst facial I've ever received and I felt like it was honestly a scam. Below is just a few things that really made the experience horrible: - The bed you are laying in for the facial is actually a scalp spa bed. So imagine your head laying back on a sink like you're getting your hair washed for a hair cut. Each time the person who did my facial needed to rinse something or get fresh water, you would have the loud flushing of water next to your head, which defeats having a relaxing experience AND on top of that, my hair was touching the bottom of the sink so by the end of the facial, the bottom half of my hair was WET and I was never offered to have it dried. - She spent more time washing my face with soap/water and "massaging" my face and neck than the actual facial. The massage consisted of her randomly slapping my checks vs. the normal facial massage you would get from a reputable facial spa. The massage on my neck was her rubbing her hands without any pressure. The massage chair I was laying in gave much more pressure than the person who was doing my facial. - At the beginning of my facial, I told her I have a lot of blackheads that needed to be extracted. She said okay and during the "extraction" part of the facial, she spent no more than 15 seconds doing extractions, which was a quick swipe on the sides of my nose and a few presses around my face. The room was always dimly lit so I don't know how you can provide a proper examination and extraction when there was no light. - To top it off, the facial only lasted 45 minutes vs. the 60 minutes as advertised. When I brought this up to the front desk manager to clarify if I got the Express facial or European facial since there was no "deep cleanse" and the service only lasted 45 minutes, she went back to ask the worker who stated I did not need extractions, hence she ended the service earlier than 60 minutes. Again, a light was NEVER used to look at my skin properly to examine for extractions and there was no "deep cleansing" unless they consider washing your face with water and soap a deep cleanse. - Also the sunscreen they used at the end smelled like chemicals so I immediately washed my face when I got home to avoid having a reaction to it. The front desk manager offered me a 10% off my facial, which came out to be $78 and was still more than the Express facial I felt I received. I would hate to see what the Express facial would be if they seriously considered the facial I received the European facial. I would never want a facial like this even if it was offered to be free. Who wants to leave a facial smelling like chemicals and leaving with wet hair?? Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book a facial here. It honestly felt like I received a rush facial from a nail technician with no facial experience who was asked to perform the facial. I am extremely upset I paid for this service and again, it was a scam for what was advertised and what I received. read more

I visited this nail salon last month and, while I generally liked the vibe, I had a disappointing experience. The owner, who I found to be very friendly and a gem, was my first time at a nail salon in a couple of years. I was excited to pamper myself and chose Gel X for the first time and a pedicure service. The pedicure was pleasant, and Leon, the male nail technician ensured that he didn't hurt me. However, a few days later, my right big toe developed an ingrown toenail, which he removed. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, the toe became infected, and I had to visit the doctor to have it removed. My experience took a turn for the worse when I chose Genesis, the nail technician, for my nails. She cut my cuticles twice with the cuticle cutter and once with the drill, causing my two fingers to bleed. The one time with the drill, my finger was dripping blood, which was definitely not sanitary. I tried to stay calm, but the pain was excruciating. Initially, I was planning to get a regular cat-eye design, but then I decided to go with a design featuring butterflies and Genesis agreed to do it. After two hours of my painful nails, I was disappointed because the design didn't resemble the picture. I asked her to just the cat-eye and expressed my desire to leave without being unhappy. That's when she started drilling the gel off the four nails, then nicked my middle finger with the drill, the nail that was already cut earlier. The pain was unbearable, and she applied green ointment to the affected area. She looked frustrated and tired, which is understandable, but I was still in immense pain. Thankfully, Tammy stepped up and asked Genesis if she could try to do the designs, which took another hour or longer. I appreciated them staying that night since the store was already closed. Tammy finished the design, and I ended up paying $180 plus tip. I was outraged but so exhausted from the four hours I had spent sitting in the salon that I paid and left. The next day, my fingers were in excruciating pain from the cuts. I called Mary, the owner, and she apologized and offered me a refund for my Gel X. I went in later that evening and received the refund for the Gel X. While I'm glad she refunded me, it was such a hassle to begin with. I didn't get to relax or enjoy the pampering I had hoped for. My first experience here was actually great. I came during the week and the attention to detail, care, and customer service were excellent, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, today was a completely different experience. We arrived just before 4 PM and didn't leave until almost 8 PM. We were never told how long the wait would be. After already waiting a long time, we decided to stay since we were told we would be taken together so we could finish around the same time. I'm sure that's part of why the wait ended up being so long. After waiting hours, my gel manicure was rushed and finished in about 10-15 minutes, with no hand massage and very little care. It felt like the technician was just trying to move on to the next person as quickly as possible because it was busy. My daughter received a regular pedicure with gel--nothing special--and between the two of us our total was $100. My niece got a fill with a French tip and a pedicure with gel and French tip and was charged $180. The most frustrating part is that no one explained the services, asked exactly what we wanted, or quoted prices beforehand. For how rushed the services were, the pricing felt extremely overpriced. Honestly, after spending nearly half my day there just waiting and then getting rushed service, it felt like they should be paying me for wasting my time rather than charging those prices. It's disappointing because my weekday experience was great, but based on today's visit during busy hours, I would recommend being cautious.
