David informed me that the warranty I had signed less than an hour ago didn't cover that and also assured me that the light was a irrelevant problem that would only be an issue during a smog check. He said to come back when I needed the car smogged and they would help me out. Fast forward two years later. David no longer works there and Mike the manager was less than pleased and "surprised" that a customer would come back in after owning a car for two years. They "did me a favor" and had the check engine light turned off and advised me to buy a new gas cap. I just got back from the smog testing station and they say the car still wont pass. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!

Nor were other problems, which were probably caused by excess use of former owner, that were detected by a third party shop after the purchase a few days after the dealership performed a the first repair. The representative (Jeremy) promised verbally, before purchasing, that the car had been thoroughly checked and when I asked if I should get it checked by a third party he said there is no need- the car is 100% ok (his words). I took the car for a test drive but was not allowed to go beyond a radius of a block, so how could I have detected the noise that only appeared while driving on the freeway? His insistence and promises of full warranty assured me I did not need a second opinion- had he said the car might have issues since they did not lift and check it, I would have gotten the car checked and avoided wasting my time and money. Their efforts to reply to my complaints after the purchase were feeble; I left messages and had to call repeatedly to get in information while the car was being fixed, workers that we not Jeremy were unpleasant and unhelpful. At our last conversation Jeremy went so far as to blame me for the transmission problems(!!!!!)- although the problems appeared immediately after purchase. When I returned the car Jeremy and the owner were extremely unpleasant. They repeated over and over again how they fixed the car without asking me to pay for it but ignored my pleas that Jeremy had promised the car was perfect- and ignored the hours I lost by just trying to get a hold of Jeremy and returning the car twice, while not living in the area. Finally they offered me my money back- which I thought was fair. I was willing to absorb the 350$ for cancelling the contract and never return but they felt that charging me 250$ for detailing ("reconditioning") a car that was at the dealership more than it was driven, was a good show of faith. Furthermore, I resent the fact that he would imply my origins have anything to do with a proper and legal transaction being held. I may have spent some years abroad but I am still a US citizen and a California resident and I do not understand how me being "mixed", could impair my judgment. This was not a misunderstanding or a perception problem. You should not promise a car is 100% ok- when it's not.

But after the mechanic shop next door blew me off without even taking a look at my clutch, I decided to give Noho Honda a shot. Happy to say that Robert Arslanian restored my faith in Honda maintenance and service. He was obviously busy juggling multiple customers, but I never felt ignored or like he didn't have time for me. He was kind and communicated all the important info up front so I wasn't in the dark about the possible outcomes and pricing. I didn't have an appointment but my car was taken in right away. They were able to take care of a recall and do some needed maintenance, in addition to my clutch (bled and replaced the fluid and the car is back to normal). Thank you to the tech Andrew Toledo for taking care of my car. I had to leave her overnight but she was ready by 11 AM the next day. Expected to pay top dollar for the name brand service, but it was worth it for the respect and peace of mind. Wouldn't change a thing. 5 stars

He was honest, wasn't trying to take advantage that I was a woman and didn't try to upsell me something that I didn't need, he gave me honest information. He was compassionate and understanding. I also want to give Max my tech credit for his amazing explanation in his multi point inspection of my vehicle, the video provided was very informative and I appreciated that he showed everything he mentioned. Both of these employees have a great attitude and were more than happy to help. Honda of North Hollywood just gained a new customer, I will be getting my service done here every time and that is thanks to Samuel for the first impression that he gave me. I also want to add that the service done on my car was done in a fast manner, I've gone to other dealerships and they've taken over two hours for a small oil change and filter change. The car I returned had zero damage. The bumper was perfect, there had been no accidents, there were no scratches, and the tires were in normal condition. They added damage charges just to bill me. I always made my lease payments on time, often before the due date, and fulfilled my obligations before my lease ended. This was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. I even called another Mercedes dealership, and they told me they couldn't help because I hadn't purchased my car from them. I can't even begin to describe how stressful and overwhelming that was. Thankfully, I found European Keys. From the very first phone call, they immediately put my mind at ease. Edvard became my service advisor, and from the first time I brought my car in, he took the time to listen to every concern I had. He genuinely cared and made sure all of the initial issues were repaired. Unfortunately, not long after, my car started having transmission problems. Every single time I brought it back, Edvard took care of me without hesitation. I had to bring the car in several times, and he always made sure everything was handled properly and that I was kept informed throughout the process. Finding someone who truly cares about their customers is rare, and Edvard went above and beyond every time. After finally getting it back, I expected the problem to be resolved. Instead, just one week later, the one side of the cylinders started giving me problems again and failed. Then, only two weeks later, the same issue happened again on the other side The most frustrating part was the lack of communication from the technician. I was promised that my car would be repaired and ready within one week, but that promise was never kept. Instead, I was left waiting with little to no communication and no clear explanation for the ongoing delays. Customers deserve honest updates and realistic timelines, especially when their vehicle has already spent months in the shop. I do want to recognize my service advisor Mike and then Hayk who was excellent throughout the process. They were professional, responsive, and did everything they could to help. Unfortunately, the repeated delays and poor communication from the technician completely overshadowed the otherwise positive service I received from the advisor. For a luxury brand like Mercedes-Benz, this level of service is unacceptable. Having my vehicle tied up for two months, only for the same cylinder issue to return almost immediately, has been incredibly frustrating and has seriously affected my confidence in the dealership's repair process. I hope Keyes Mercedes improves its quality of repairs, communication, and accountability so other customers don't have to go through the same experience.
