My husband and I had high hopes for this restaurant. Service was horrible. Some of the waiters acted like they had no clue about working in a food establishment. I ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer. I have never seen it fixed the way they did. The lettuce and tomato were put in the oven and were wilted. Needless to say, I took one bite and that was it. We went on a whim and upon recommendations from a local group I follow. We actually passed it up, because it was in a shopping center. We were hesitant as the outside reminded us of a food chain. We go inside and we were greeted by Tony. He was very nice and welcoming and turned out to be our waiter too. There was only one other couple there and it seemed he was working the front alone; it was 3pm on a Tuesday. We started out with the Caprese. It came out fairly quickly and was nothing like I'm used to. It was a hot dish in which the vegetables (artichoke, scallions, etc) were sautéed and laid over toasted baguettes. It was delicious! I ordered the fettuccini carbonara and he ordered a pizza. My dish was excellent; it was creamy, had a great flavor, and was a good portion size. Unfortunately, he didn't like his pizza as much as I loved my dish and said it was just alright. I didn't push for more detail. We finished up with a fabulous cannoli, a latte, and a macchiato. All in all I would have given this restaurant a 5 if it weren't for the pizza. Maybe next time I'll order the pizza and give a real review of the dish, because I will go back again. read more

Reservation for four at 6:30 on Friday. Worst restaurant we have been to in years. we were rushed through dinner presumably to get a second or third seating that evening. Our appetizers came immediately (we had mussels and bruschetta). Salads came out while we were still eating appetizers and entrees came out minutes after the salad. We didn't have time to eat comfortably. Also, we had so many plates on the table, that should have been a clue for them to wait a bit longer to bring out the next course. Makes me think everything was already made. Veggie Pizza tasted and looked like it was premade frozen crust and had CANNED mushrooms. Not even fresh mushrooms on a veggie pizza! It was soggy and underbaked. It was literally the WORST pizza I've ever had. Noli's Vite should be embarrased for serving it. Bruschetta was crap. Didn't even look like bruschetta. Alfredo sauce was so rich that it was separating and inedible. My wife and I didn't eat for 16 hours after the meal because of upset stomachs. Appetizers, salads and entrees in less than one hour. We were rushed to eat, pay and leave in less than one hour. Shameful. And it was incredibly LOUD. This place is a joke. read more

This is the best restaurant around. The food is AMAZING. The wine selection is fabulous. Dritëro (Toni) our waiter is outstanding. My husband and I love love coming here for dinner. Not sure how the food is but my daughter showed up to DoorDash an order. When she took the bag to her car, the bag was soaked on the bottom and fell to the pavement. She went inside and they would not remake the order and yelled at her like it was her fault. Not very good customer service. read more

Very good service, the staff really seems to care for the customer. Very relaxed environment, casual, good food and reasonable prices for an Italian place a few notches above Olive Garden and a notch below Gennaros (their canyon lake location anyway). Their pasta was good, calamari was okay, their soup was AMAZING. Seriously I would go again just for the chicken and vegetable soup, you can tell it's homemade and has been cooking since that morning. I plan on returning in the future when I have a craving for good Italian food at a reasonable cost. read more

Went there in a Friday and was seated at the entrance little weird. It assumed they where extra busy and wanted us to be seated immediately. Waiter was no experienced at all. Very sloppy. Finally ordered our drinks and meals at the same time to avoid waiting extra. We also got a salad and cheese sticks as an appetizer. SalAd came out first. Iceberg lettuce, one slice of tomato and shredded cheese. Very mediocre!!! I was super excited to try the cheese sticks since the bread was amazing. Finally cheese sticks came out golden brown but frozen straight down the middle. So they are bag frozen cheese sticks which left us very disappointed. Waited about 30 min for the food. Ordered chicken parmigiana, spaghetti and meat balls and a large pepperoni pizza for the preteens. Chicken parmigiana didn't disappoint but wasn't epic. The spaghetti and meatballs where a totally fail. Seem to come from directly from a pre- made frozen bag of meat balls. The pizza tasted like an over priced little Caesar's pizza. Finally waiter came back and handed me a check with no total and tells me when ur done please pay at the register. No refills no to go boxes ect. Went up paid the cashier the totally that the waited added was $1 off didn't make a huge fuss since he was adding without a calculator and he really couldn't get our drink order together didn't expect too much. I have mixed feelings. The service was very good I will say, waitstaff was kind and attentive. The food was mediocre at best. With Gennaro's right down the road with excellent authentic Italian this was pretty disappointing in food quality. It was definitely "American-Italian" with lots of baked pastas, fried calamari and the like. Salad was wet like they hadn't dried off the greens, and dressing was obviously store bought, as were desserts. Ordered chicken piccata for my entree and the chicken was Tyson pre-cooked style and the sauce tasted fake as well. The pasta in all the dishes that my family ordered wasn't fresh, again comparing to Gennaro's less than a mile down the road with fresh pasta, sauces, antipasto, etc. BUT, Gennaro's is a different price point, by a long shot. You get what you pay for, and I tend to think NB is more of a discerning clientele, but we're growing and changing so you never know. If you are looking for a decent Ameri-Italian experience a step up from Olive Garden, this is your place. read more

We've eaten here twice already and had different things each time! My husband got a sampler plate and the sauce was off the charts good!!! I had the manicotti lunch special first and LOVED the sauce! I'm very particular on red sauces because most of the time I can find something at H-E-B on a shelf! Not this stuff! It's amazing! The salad was fresh and the house dressing was amazing, but definitely to each their own as I know some people it might not be their preference! Ask for it on the side for the first try so you don't waste good salad! The breadsticks were hot and delicious, perfectly baked and buttery! The second time I had Nolis was a chicken Alfredo (basic I know) the chicken was SO tender and the Alfredo sauce...omg I died and went to Alfredo heaven! It was thick and creamy! It was amazing! While traveling in San Marcos, we saw this place had great reviews so decided to give it a whirl.. Upon arrival, we were seated but nothing else. Mind you, this is a Sunday evening about 6pm. The place was not packed at all. Two other tables came after us. They were greeted by the waiter and served bread and their drinks. We sat there for a whole 21 minutes and still not greeted by a waiter. Needless to say, we left. Such a disappointment as the menu looked appetizing.. I'd hate to say we were singled out because we did not "fit in" with everyone one else that eating at the restaurant. As we were walking out, one of the waiters told us "have a great day!". Best Pizza around and I have tried everywhere in New Braunfels and the surrounding area. They use real fresh mozzarella cheese, sauce on point (not too sweet or sour). If you ask for thinner crust they will make it but in my opinion it is pretty thin already and has that mandatory crunch. Also tried their tortellini soup and it was very good. read more

This was my first time here and I enjoyed the experience very much. We had a group of six and came for lunch. The building is nice and the service was outstanding. The restaurant wasn't real busy, so the server had the time to be attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes and the portions were all plentiful. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the spaghetti with sausage. The sauce was to die for, but I thought the dish could use more sausage, but that is my only complaint. This place is a joke, very nice inside but the food is a big disappointment. They list salad or soup on menu but should call it bowl of chopped lettuce or soup. They don't put anything else other than dressing. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, the portion size was ok. However the food really lacked flavor, the chicken tasted like it was boiled early and just added to my meal. The best part was their bread with melted butter & garlic on the side. Absolutely the worst "Italian" food my husband and I have ever had. The bread was nothing more than stretched out pizza dough without any flavor. The chicken marsala was so bland it tasted like chicken with canned gravy poured over it. The chicken is pre-cut which means it's pre-cooked and just tossed into what ever sauce that you order. I had a few bites and took the rest home to throw over the back fence for the fox, possum and deer. read more

Excellent chicken parmigiana with the most delicious marinara I've had. The Chicken Alfredo was creamy and portion was huge, but a little bland and sauce on the sweet side. Not bad but wouldn't order again. Definitely going back for the chicken parm. Salads before meal are so-so. Ordered balsamic vinaigrette for the dressing and I'm pretty sure it was just balsamic vinegar. Should be a little more generous with the salad portion. Atmosphere was warm and yes, it can be loud, depending on how full the restaurant is and if there are little kids dining. We came on a Tuesday around 7:00 and it wasn't packed so it was not as loud as it may be on busier nights. Good experience all around and will be back, probably choosing a night early in the week and definitely ordering the chicken parmigiana. read more

Unfortunately our food is where this review takes a turn. The salad looked like it was poured out of a bag as well as the dressing. My wife ordered spaghetti & meatballs. The sauce was ok, but the meatballs looked and tasted of the frozen bag variety. Small & tasteless. They should have at least warmed them in the sauce. The angel hair pasta got lost in the sauce and turned it to mush. I had the shrimp scampi and this is where it gets bad. There was no garlic to be had and the sauce was way over cooked to the point it tasted burnt. Needless to say, I barely touched it. The waitress so so sweet & kind I didn't want to be that customer to burst her bubble. I definitely would not recommend this establishment and will not be coming back. read more

First visit I had the italian sausage arabiatta. It was really good, with sliced link sausage that had good flavor. Not too fancy of a place but also not too basic. Good garlic knots served as free appetizer with soft butter on the table. Thumbs up. That night I felt like a 5 star rating. Decided to go again for their pizza. I travel a lot and seek out the best pizza across the country. My favorite pizza is sausage and pepperoni. One thing I look for in an Italian place is the quality of the sausage. I had it the first visit, nice sliced links. So of course, when I ordered it on my pizza, I was expecting quality italian sausage. Instead, I got the pre-cooked, little balls of sausage like 'meat' that is bought in a large bag from the restaurant supply stores and used in many of the "chain" type pizza places. That is exactly what I tell friends to avoid. To me it is a sign of cheap choices on product. When I see the dreaded sausage balls in an add or review photo, I do not get pizza from there, or recommend it. Too many other quality pizzas in NB to choose from. It's a bummer, because I had high hopes for this place. read more
