My first NYC pizza was here and I think it set a good bar. Vibes inside are chill - lots of tables to sit at, big and small, and there is hot honey available if you'd like that. On my food tour, we got to try the neopolitan (I think) or could have been the margherita, i'm not sure... but I must say, it was nice! Thin crust, fresh cheese and basil and really simple. I do not like pizza, so this review might be biased. The crust itself is a no for me. A little too hard for my liking - but the rest of the crust was good. Thin, crispy and crunchy and had a good hold of the pizza when folded. I actually don't like the crunchy crust, but I hear that's a good sign of NY pizza. Sauce was fresh and cheese was also fresh! We were looking for a cheap meal to eat before a show at the Bowery ballroom and happened upon Nolita Pizza. They have a counter where you order and plenty of space to sit down. I got a slice of their Regina napolitana pizza, which had blobs of fresh stracchiatella and sprinkled melted cheese on top of the homemade savory tomato sauce, with two small leaves of basil and an olive oil drizzle. The crust was crispy and thin, and overall it was a really tasty slice. However it was just a little too expensive for what it was. Given how many celebrities ate here (evidenced by the wall of photos) you'd think the pizza would be way better. I feel like pizza was a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars for me. Also side note... do NOT get the garlic bread, I love garlic but this was so overwhelmingly spicy from the amount of raw garlic and pepper on top. read more

In comparison to a lot of the pizzerias in the neighborhood - Ceres, Prince Street Pizza, Champion Pizza etc - I prefer Nolita Pizza the best because: 1) No crowd and a great clean space for seating!! (as a New Yorker, I appreciate this so much, away from the tourists). 2) Staff are eager to serve, and they are informative and friendly. 3) Location, location, location! This pizzeria is located right near SoHo, Little Italy and Chinatown. It's perfect for shopping, grocery, and dinning out. Fair warning: Upside Pizza on Spring & Mulberry is a couple blocks away, would recommend that you go there for a clearly better classic New York slice! My experience: Had a hankering for a slice when walking uptown from Chinatown, so checked Nolita Pizza out. They had seating both inside and out front. Given all of Nolita's slices looked a little overcooked, so requested my plain cheese slice just to be heated. Unfortunately, Nolita Pizza's sauce and cheese combo was extremely salty, like a deer lick (or so I'd imagine)! Possibly you'd have better luck, but myself - given the superior options elsewhere - I'll hold off next time I'm passing through until reaching a slice more worthy of my money and stomach! read more

First time! Won't be the last (hopefully)! Order at the counter, they warm up your food in the oven and call your name when its ready. Tried 2 slices: Regina napoletana and pepperoni. Regina Napoletana - Amazingly good! One of the best slices I've ever had. The cheese and toppings stayed in place when you took a bite, the crust was sturdy ("no flop"), the right temp and it was super flavorful. Toppings: homemade marinara, mozz, basil, parmigiana reggiano, virgin olive oil. Pepperoni: Very good. The crust didn't match up to the Napoletana and the cheese fell off when you bit in. I walked by this crowded and highly rated pizzeria one night and was persuaded to try it the next. I went for a grandma slice,which was abundant in flavor in every respect. Crunchy crush, tangy sauce, rich high-quality mozzarella. They had some beverage options and a few premade salads, though the slices are obviously the main attraction. There was limited indoor and outdoor seating but typical for NYC. My only knock against it was the excess salt, which hit me overnight with thirst pangs despite the fact that I limited myself to one slice. Basing my review off of trying only one type of slice, the burrata slice. I was seeing a show at the Bowery and stumbled upon this place because it was in walking distance. I didn't look at any reviews beforehand so I didn't realize the burrata slice was pretty popular. It just looked really good in the case lol. Based on the interior of the place, I wasn't expecting much...but, holy heck was I wrong! The slice was damn good. Crispy light crust with no flop, flavorful sauce, & quality cheese. This is an amazing by the slice pizza restaurant. Tony, the owner is there ready to take your order and is super friendly. We had the Vodka pizza and the spicy Sicilian pepperoni slices and both were incredible. I would get the Sicilian slice again with the crispy crust and soft middle.
