So happy that my husband had his first New York slice here. The service was fast, crust crispy, sauce was great. We had the 3 sauce pizza and pineapple and pep. Super satisfying after all that walking.

A quintessential NYC pizza spot that delivers exactly what you want from a late-night slice. They stay open late and offer a wide variety of options, from classic cheese to more loaded specialty pies, all served quickly and consistently. It became our go-to for a 10 p.m. pizza fix, and even during peak hours, the lines tend to move fast and remain very manageable. The combination of convenience, variety, and solid quality makes it a reliable stop any time of night.

I absolutely loved, loved, loved the food at Roma Pizzeria. Let's get this out of the way first: the décor is not winning any design awards: plastic tablecloths, simple setup, very old-school neighborhood vibe. But within about five minutes of the food hitting the table, you genuinely stop caring. The portions are enormous -- not just big for the sake of being big, but generous and satisfying. Everything we ordered was hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The kind of Italian comfort food that reminds you why simple food done right beats trendy food every time. The staff was warm and welcoming, which adds to that classic, local-institution feel. You feel like they're glad you came in. Bottom line: If you're going for ambiance, this isn't your Pinterest dinner spot. If you're going for seriously good food that makes you want to come back next week, this is absolutely it. Roma proves something important: great food always wins.

First meal in New York after an extremely exhausting travel day. I'm talking 4am wake up and not eating until over 12 hours later kind of day! Roma Pizza saved our hangriness. This is the Roma Pizza outpost on 6th Ave. They have a few locations around the city. Been in business since 1985. The slices are eye-appealing and have great curb appeal compared to other slice shops in the area. I was operating on fumes at that point, so I didn't bother to read the menu. I just picked out a few that I knew we'd like, while also picking up a few extra things for my parents. Service was superb, they were working hard back there! The vodka slice also contained a few dollops of burrata and red sauce. This was a tasty slice with good crisp and a yummy combination of flavors. The pepperoni slice was STURDY. To my surprise, this slice must have hot honey on top because it brought the heat. This one was thicker than the other slice and the crunch was insane. Kind of like a crunchy Sicilian, which is impossible to find outside of New York! Congrats on 40 years of business and congrats to my belly for being put into a food coma immediately after. Don't skip on this place if you're in a pinch. Very good slices!

This was my GO TO in New York. Super close by to my hotel and honestly never disappointed. They have a ton of slices to choose from and always open late so that was super convenient. Is this the best pizza in new york? Probably not but it was delicious for the location we were in. Always friendly staff and ready to heat you up whatever you choose. My favorite was the chicken caesar salad slice (yes you heard that right)! Late night vibes always good here for the 4 nights we spent!

I asked for extra cheese...do you see it?

Overall, the place is ok for a pizza shop. The staff is good and the food was quick. They have plenty of pie variety and they don't taste bad. I have been here before, but I wanted to leave a review once i tried something different besides a slice. Well, I did not get what I asked for. The taste was ok but very disappointed because I asked for a meatball parm hero with extra cheese. What I got was a meatball sub with light/hardly any cheese...more bread than anything. I heard the guy repeat my order directly to the kitchen and still it was wrong. I didn't mine not having whole meatballs, but it looked like the only cut up 2 for a whole sub roll. For a 3-ingredient item its crazy its wasn't done right. Not sure if I got this because I order it to go but highly upset when I got to my desk. Pls give people what they ask for. Overall, there is definitely better.

Service here was super quick and everyone we interacted with was really friendly, which definitely started things off on a good note. The menu is massive with so many options that it almost felt overwhelming in a good way. Unfortunately, the food itself largely disappointed. I tried the beef patty crust (no idea what the actual name of it is), which was unique but ended up tasting more like a Cheez-It than anything else. The beef filling didn't have much, if any, seasoning, so it came across pretty flat. I also ordered the spicy chicken vodka pizza, which sounded great on paper but was just okay. It didn't have any real spice or standout flavor, and it came out only lukewarm. The saving grace of the meal was the cannoli cake. It was moist, balanced, and not overly sweet. EASILY the highlight of the visit. I would go back just for that slice of cake!

The slices we had were a little too oily and the staff didn't heat it up enough, which left it kind of lukewarm. I feel like if this was cooked a bit more or a better temperature I could've given it another star. There is a good amount of seating outside which is great if you want a setting where you can enjoy the food, especially with these late hours. I would've liked to try the Caesar salad pizza since it caught my eye, but I wasn't sure how long it had been sitting out since it was already close to midnight. Overall it wasn't bad, but not the best slice I've had in the city.

Margherita Pizza Slice $5, Spicy Pepperoni, and 1 cheese slice at $3.5 8/12/25

Quick and friendly service. Can takeout or sit down. Crust is perfectly crispy and soft inside. On a tuesday post-broadway around 9:30pm, this place hit the spot. Cheese pizza ($3.5) was a winner for us - simple but tasty and aromatic (of tomato sauce). With pepper flakes on top (that they have in shakers on the side), it's perf. Margherita $5 was our second fave - slightly tart. Spicy pepperoni was a lil too salty and oil for me but it was still pretty good. Crust was also thin. Reheated in the pizza oven so it's piping hot when you bite into it. Pain in a good way. Loved that this place was right around the corner from our hotel!

Quick and friendly service. So many different options! Inside and outside seating available. Tried a margarita slice and vodka pepperoni slice. The margarita slice had to be my favorite!! Loved the sweet tomato sauce on it. Would def come back! :)

Just a classic NY pizza spot. They have other items on the menu as well. A few tables inside as well but it was hopping! You can't go wrong with a slice of pepperoni!

I found this pizza shop after leaving Macy's. The inside was small and a bit congested but the service was amazing. I ordered two slices of pepperoni and another slice of what I believe is buffalo ranch for my daughter and me. We lucked up and found a table inside so I was happy about that. The pizza was tasty and a great size. Overall, I had a good experience.

Sometimes you just crave for that NY style pizza! Super fast and delicious. Caesar salad was so good. The jalapeño pepperoni was delicious as well. Definitely a place worth stop by. 3-4 tables in the restaurant for dine in!

Management was very accommodating on various levels - no need to describe the details as it's not relevant for an average review. know before you go - you literally have no other cheese but to have cheese in your pasta. Note that this is not a place for lactose intolerant kinds. I thought the concept was fresh pasta (which it is) but their ultimate menu items must include that cheese wheel. So fine. I figured they can at least give a non-cheese dish but rules are the rules. The place was packed on a weekend early evening. Lines were not forming (like it showed in the viral videos) but they were cooking up quite a bit at the front, because of carry out orders. Either way, on all angles - literally pretty much everything is ALL good and very positive. However, the one thing that needs to be addressed is that wheel made of cheese. Whoever created that chunk of a wheel, kudos to them/company. By golly - that gargantuan of a wheel was so filled with calories - I kid you not, it almost converted me to being lactose intolerant! So if you're about to have triple bypass the next day, I do not recommend this joint until you're fully healed. Yes, the flavors were good, but the cheesey elements were just too too rich. You also cannot tell them to lessen it, it's just set the way they cook the pasta within that barrel. Otherwise, the decor/ambience was nice, and tidy aspects really show through. Customer service was wonderful. Support your local businesses!

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. Perhaps I'll give this place another try on another day..
