As a vegetarian this is my go to food joint when I'm working, there are options from vegetarian spring rolls to vegetarian pho, and for my carnivorous friends there are many more amazing options. Such as BBQ Pork and Prawns to Lemon Grass Chicken (both old favorites of mine). A lot of food for a great price I think most dishes run about $6.50, which is great considering the quality of food you're getting. This is by far the best place to eat at when your hungry for some delicious food and looking for speedy service without skimping on taste. They usually seat you tight away, take your order and minutes later your order arrives. I love their dry noodle bowls, 5 spice BBQ chicken is my favorite as well as the Taro boba. My boyfriend and I usually walk out go there paying less than $30 bucks for two meals, an appetizer, and 2 boba smoothies. The staff is always friendly as well as attentive. I have given this place plenty of chances. I called the other day and placed an order, and the order was lost Im assuming because I had to wait another 15minutes after getting there for my food. On top of that i was blamed for calling the incorrect noodle bar, when I specifically asked which noodle bar it was and proceeded to order because it was the one I wanted to pick up from. The workers were also very rude. And one was touching his hair and then touching the food. On top of this, my pho had no garnishes and barely any chicken. Their food is great sometimes there's a little bit too much cartilage in the chicken barbecue spice dry Noodle bowl , the employees that work the registers are not the best last week I had one of them add themselves a tip on the screen to my order she flipped the screen to add it herself when they didn't even give me great customer service over the phone ordering and I had to call her out on it for trying to take money on my card and me not knowing it the employee that added her tips still works there she has black hair it's kind of short and a neck tattoo behind her ear , I always tell them exactly what I want in sauces and utensils and they never seem to hear me or understand I have to repeat myself multiple times because they give me the wrong things mostly the kid with black long hair and the new girls, also whenever I call ahead to have an order picked up at a certain time it's always made way sooner and it's really inconvenient I prefer the old employees that actually had their stuff together . The prices are decent and the managers really friendly but something needs to happen about employees that take phone orders and ring people up! Great for take out. Very fast and consistently good, clean, yummy, spicy food. Always seem busy on the nights I call or stop in, and yet never have had too long a wait. I was really glad to see that they used an alternative "green" non-styrofoam take-out packaging when they first opened. However, they have since returned to styrofoam, and that's disappointing. Love love love noodle bar! My husband and I come in every week to get our fix. We get an order of bbq chicken spring rolls and 2 orders of the 5 spice chicken dry noodle bowls. The food always comes hot and prepared the way we like. My husband always asks for modification and they always get it right. We also often enjoy their boba smoothies. The flavor lavender is my favorite and my husband likes the mango. Service is always quick and friendly, despite how busy they are. So glad we found this restaurant! read more

This was the first and last time I visit this place. My daughter and I were in the area so when we are we have Pho at Pho Lucky Noodle House, our go to spot, but they were closed. Having been fixated on having pho all day, we decided to try this place. I had a simple combination pho while my daughter had the rare beef both 'regular' size. They came out pretty fast which was nice considering the place was packed, a nightmare for any agoraphobic, jam packed and LOUD! There was an employee taking trash bags out from the kitchen through the dining room (I took food safety and sanitation classes every two years and I think that may be a major no no while food is being served and customers are in house, then again maybe things have changed). My daughter told me the soup was very salty before I could even taste mine, she was right, that's all I tasted. There was no subtlety to it, as if they just threw it together thinking it was adequate for their customer base. I think Pho is the quintessential dish to any Vietnamese noodle house. It was so salty that Hoisin Sauce became my best friend during the meal to off set the saltiness with some sweetness. We also split a Taro Milk Boba, I absolutely love Taro, I grew up eating it in the Philippines but I have to say I tasted no Taro in the Milk Taro Boba we had. After asking about the Taro and it's presence in the drink from one of the staff she responded with just a yes, it was Taro Milk Boba. I looked at her puzzled and waited for a question to the effect of, "is there anything wrong with it?"....but that didn't happen, she just walked away. The last time I checked Taro is purple and stains purple, this was still white. Because we had already drank out of it and they had split the drink into two plastic cups I decided it wasn't worth wasting anymore plastic and time waiting to get the drink right so I just kinda bit the bullet, Needless to say, we did not finish the drink. Our server was great, she was attentive and was kind and seemed genuine but it did not make up for how poorly this place made their food not to mention how unsanitary to be greeted with trash bags being hauled out through the dining room. You're better off at Pho Lucky Noodle just across the street by the Goodwill. They are nicer, they serve taro in their boba drinks and have a really nice tasting Pho that will not need much or any doctoring, not to mention you can have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. read more

Food is good. I was a regular customer. ordered to go today and ask to pack the dish separate. They told me that they need to charge 50 cents per container. Was not told when initially place the order, but was informed after place the order. Asked them to put stuff together, still got charged for the container. One of the waitress, explained that , for your future reference, any extra container you request will be extra charge. Got my 50cents back. This is ridiculous. One paper container does not cost 50cents. Do not mind paying, but you guys can not make money out of it. Plus, it should be concluded. We came out all the way from Hayward and our first stop was Devon, well Noodle Bar. We loved Devon. Our friend was annoying as HELL asking for one thing and another then asking for one thing and another. Point is, he kept a smile on his face. He deserves a bonus. I'm so thrilled they opened a Noodle Bar in Marina. This one has a lot more seating than the one in Seaside but they are still cash only. Unfortunately that has been the deciding factor on where I want to get food. I rarely carry cash, so I would go there a lot more often if they at least accepted debit cards. My mom literally loves this place, there was even a period of time where we ate noodle bar at least twice a week, crazy yet delicious. My favorite plate there is the chicken curry with fried rice. I absolutely love their fried rice, especially if it's partially drowned in hoisin sauce. Plus all of their bobas are delicious. My favorite is the passion smoothie with boba, oh man, it's filling and delicious. But warning, if you order a boba smoothie and a plate, you'll either be too full to eat your food or too full to drink your boba so balance it out because there have been so many times where either of those scenarios have happened to me. It's a fun little restaurant tucked away on the side of a strip mall; they're opening a Banh mi place right next door. My son tells us to order the bowls sans lettuce and you'll get more noodles. We ordered strawberry and mango smoothie shakes with boba. The opinions were mixed on the boba; however the smoothie was sweet and refreshing. Go to Noodle Bar or get take-out. I think the atmosphere is fun, but if you're expecting a dim and quiet Chinese restaurant type place you'll be disappointed.
