I never bothered writing a review but I had to write one here. If I could choose to not give a star I would. I ordered the drunken noodles and green curry to go. Both orders were very salty. The drunken noodles was really greasy, dark and nasty burnt taste like some Chinese takeout stir fry. The last time I ate in I also ordered drunken rice pot and it was also very salty and had to order a side of white rice to eat with it. $16 per lunch order, pricy and food just sucked! Two drunken noodles and a green curry totaled to almost $52, all was a waste of money. I would not complain if the food was great. I heard that the owner/chef was the one from Rice Spice Noodles and that's why I kept trying it here. But I'm so disappointed it's never the same good food. Awesome lunch place with rice bowls, noodle bowls, noodle soup, dumplings, chicken wings... I need to go back to taste more of the menu. We tried the Thai beef salad which had mint leaves, sesame seeds, grilled steak with tons of flavor, the Thai beef rice bowl which was also super flavorful with ground beef, basil and a fried egg (And I added veggies to it which I highly recommend to break up the meat and rice with some fiber :)) and the Tom Yum Ramen which was just a straightforward noodle soup but my favorite of the three because it was SO flavorful with perfectly cooked ramen. They started us off with one complementary dumpling and spring roll for each person, which were both delicious and a nice way to try both apps for free. The server was friendly, though they could use a second person to speed things up. The food took awhile to come out because there was only one chef. And the decor was confusing, with the feel of a cheap Italian lunch spot which didn't match the fun, modern menu or the unique Thai fusion food. Also a little odd that you can put spaghetti, linguini or fettuccini into your Asian noodle bowl, but then again maybe it's better than I think. If you're looking for some non-traditional dish, definitely try this restaurant. They have specials on the board featuring Asian Fusion dishes that are phenomenal. I have tried their Spicy Japanese Cod Roe Spaghetti and Fried Rice with Crabmeat and was very amazed by the combination of flavors. I am looking forward to come again and try a different dish that will blow out my mind. This is a small restaurant that is perfect for a cozy dinner date. I really really loved the food!! The charred beef salad tastes like nothing I've ever tasted, sweet, sour, salty, spicy beefy and green all perfectly balanced. The pan fried chicken dumplings were bite sized and delicious, they came 12 to an order. I ordered the tom yum soup with ramen and a medium rare version of spicy it came out perfect, just a little bit of kick. My boyfriend got the build your own noodle bowl, you choose your noodle, sauce protein, and level of spicy. No complaints there! The Thai iced tea was served in two bottles, one for the cream, one for the tea and you pour it yourself at the table. First time I've seen it served that way, it was cool. Even though the dinning room was small it was full. There was only one server, he could have used a second hand, but was still personable and polite every time he came to the table. The food is just amazing!! Loved every dish. We had the fried chicken dumplings which were pan-fried perfectly crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. As a main dish we had the drunken noodle bowl with flat rice noodles and minced chicken with a nice spicy kick. We requested medium spicy and it was just perfect. Basil beef rice bowl was amazing not too spicy just right and their rice was unbelievable makes my mouth water just thinking about this very large meal. read more

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was delicious. We can't wait to go back.

I had heard great things about this place and so I had been eager to try it. To my surprise my friends were placing a take out order and asked me if I was hungry. When am I not hungry ?! So naturally I said "Feed Me". I ordered the drunken noodles with sliced beef and the flat rice noodles. I ordered it "hot". The wait alone was excruciating. Not because it took awhile but because I was hungry and excited to dig in! It was saucy but not soupy, spicy and aromatic and well seasoned. It was better than I had anticipated and it satiated every craving I was having in that moment. It was a very good sized portion and I really appreciated the fact that it was actually "hot". My biggest peeve is ordering something that you hope will be spicy and it falls short. This wasn't the case. It had a great amount of kick without it being overbearing. I just wish I had a second stomach so I could try more of their offerings! But now I have an excuse to keep frequenting this place! More items and specials to try! Go here! they were training cooks tonight, so it took some time for everything, but that was no hindrance to the quality of our meal and it was so worth the wait. every dish was well-prepared, total attention to detail :: perfectly cooked everything, flavors so wonderful, portions were just right for everyone at our table, and lovely presentation. the price of each dish feels commensurate with such excellent quality. we're so happy noodle revolution decided to land in westerly ... delicious + fresh food! also vegetarian-friendly, which is a big plus for lots of people. thank you thank you thank you. a couple of months later ... have been here several times since december ... and seriously, the nights when kate, the owner is around, all the food is spot-on and very very deftly prepared. times i've been here when she wasn't working, well, the food was pretty good, but not as completely stellar as when she is. it must be a difficult thing to find people to work for you who have the same high standards for food preparation and service when you really know what you're doing and how to pull it off. excellent service this evening from a young man who was attentive and enthusiastic without overdoing any of it. keep up the good work, kate and crew. we love what you do, and you do it so well! read more

Today I stopped in at Noodle Revolution for a late lunch. It wasn't my plan to stop here, but I heard the place had good reviews so I decided to confirm this. Noodle Revolution is upscale, but not pretentious. I had the Pho beef soup which is a Vietnamese dish I frequently eat in the Boston area. It was authentic and very tasty. The beef seemed very lean compared to what I usually eat. I had a very nice cup of jasmine tea with my meal. The tea was made in the very traditional Chinese way. The menu is electic...Thai, Cambodian (Khmer), Chinese and Japanese. I think I even saw an Italian dish of linguine with clams. Noodle Revolution is also a place to hangout. It has free WiFi and I believe hanging out is actually encouraged...sort of a Starbucks where you can enjoy a cup of tea and your favorite book at the same time. The staff is very friendly and appreciative of the business. The chef and owner (Kate) is originally from Thailand and she comes from a restaurant family. She explained to me that the menu was very carefully planned. I observed Kate greeting each diner on arrival and inspecting each meal before it left the kitchen. That's certainly attention to detail. Overall, I am very impressed and I am also delighted we have a place like Noodle Revolution in Westerly. I plan to eat there over and over again. I wish them well. read more

This place is great! The noodles were SO fresh (we got the flat rice noodles) and the sauce was delicious. We also ordered the dumplings and could tell from the way they were wrapped that these were not frozen and reheated from a package. Really want to say this restaurant is doing an awesome job. Found this place en route to the beach, and I was super happy I stopped. I don't think I've had Asian food this good in RI. I ordered Drunken Noodles with shrimp and was blown away by how spot on it was. You would drive by this place if you had not read the reviews. The interior on the hip side compared to the exterior but the food..... Exceptional! Was on a campaign against by trip nearby with my daughters and we opted for noodles one night. So glad we did. The charred beef salad was a flavor blast to the senses. Since it's opening, Noodle Rev has been outstanding. The food is delicious and creative. I've never had a bad meal here, and I visit at least a few times a month. The service & timing that had sometimes been an issue in the past is no longer a problem. Kind, genuine, and smiling servers have been my experience the past many times I have visited. Eager to please yet not overbearing, always providing great suggestions & able to answer questions about menu items (particularly the specials board, which has never disappointed), the service team that has been developed is very strong. Most importantly, and apologies to the front of house guys, is that the food really is delicious. Flavorful without being heavy, rich without losing subtlety, this is an extremely talented kitchen. A couple pointers: 'hot is hot' is real. I am a lover of spice, but have always got 'medium' since a couple atomicly hot dishes I had ordered as such. Don't forget, it's BYO. I started out with the dumplings which were very good. I ordered a "black" rice bowl for my meal, it was outstanding. My dad had the drunken noodles which were perfectly spiced and flavorful. This was one of the best meals I've had in recent history. I schlepped my husband and two unwilling kids to this little corner house looking like restaurant. No wait on a Friday night, but busy enough. Very quaint place. Service was great. Our waiter was obviously very knowledgeable of the food they serve. We ordered steamed roast pork baos, charred beef salad, drunken noodles and hong kong style wonton egg noodle soup. Ended the meal with fried ice cream and mango and sticky rice. Oh the kids had cheeseburgers and fries, and we also had thai iced tea. All was super delicious. I barely had a chance to eat the baos, my little ones inhaled them. My husband's drunken noodles were very flavorful, and as asians call it, plenty of wok flavor. Over all, very impressed with this joint. read more

Small hidden gem in Westerly! This place we found online and thought it would be something different than normal by the beach fare and we were right! Small hole in the wall restaurant, cutely decorated and very clean with friendly service. For an appetizer we had spring rolls and paper shrimp, perfectly fried, they were gone in one minute. We also had the chicken and cilantro dumplings and fought over who got the last one! My sister and brother in law had the beef pho while I had the shrimp wonton noodle bowl and my husband had the Drunken Rice Pot. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The banana spring roll dessert was the perfect ending to the meal and went amazing with their coconut ice cream. We all agreed even though we usually just go to Westerly to go to the beach that we're definitely hitting this place up next time we are in town. read more

We went about 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. Parking was lacking a little but the staff inside was very nice and told us where to park. They greeted us when we walked in and explained anything and everything we didn't understand about the menu. I went with the Thai basil but with chicken and omg it was so yummy! It was a huge portion too! The BYOB was a huge plus and they even opened the bottle of wine for us! Oh can't forget the amazing dessert! Ugh banana spring rolls, AMAZING!! We experienced another couple who had egg in his dish and forgot to tell the waiter he was allergic to eggs and I was so happy with how they dealt with it. They made him a new plate right away. Noodle Revolution is a great place, my boyfriend and I usually order the Beef Pho. It is definitely fulfilling. They give you cilantro, lime and a sweet or spicy sauce to add for your liking. This is an amazing little gem! I think my husband and I ordered half the menu... everything tasted amazing and was extremely fresh. We sat at the "bar" area, and talked with Nick. He clearly loves working there and recommended some of him favorites. It's BYOB, beer and wine only. But they do have non alcoholic mixed drinks. They were quite tasty. The restaurant is small, and seating is a little tight. But it's a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend trying this little spot out. I would eat here every week if I lived closer! read more
