Stopped in right as they opened, ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu- vegetables, no egg (vegan version). The food was phenomenal. I'm a tough critic when it comes to noodles and this is my go-to Thai dish. It hit all the marks- the flavor was balanced- not too sweet or too salty. Food was prepared and presented beautifully. We sat at the bar, so I saw them preparing the noodles and I know for a fact that they use fresh (and vegan) wide rice noodles...& nothing beats fresh noodles!! It is a little Mom & Pop place that you feel good about dining at. Parking was a little strange because it's located on a corner and there isn't a designated parking lot. I presume that parking could be a hassle if it was later in the day and busier. My boyfriend (not a vegan) ordered the ramen noodle seafood plus+ soup and was totally satisfied with it. (It happened to be pictured on the cover of the magazine So Rhode Island that was at the bar but we didn't realize it until after he had ordered it.) We ordered the vegetable dumpling (pan fried) to start as an appetizer. They were pretty good too, but no where as good as the ones you can get from Noodles 102 on Ives Street in Providence, RI. Great place to get a unique dinner, and the specials are always great! They also usually sell out of them early, which I just take to mean they're really tasty. One of the best restaurants in Westerly. Their drunken noodles, crab fried rice, and ramen are my comfort foods of choice 100%.

I went in here a few months ago. I don't recall exactly what I got, but it was tofu and vegetables in a delicious sauce. The taste was like nothing else I've ever had. I hate complaining about service, but we were one of two groups in the restaurant (both pairs) and once they got their food we had to wait about half an hour to order. This wasn't a huge issue, and I don't want to generalize, I'm just saying that may be something to be aware of. The dumplings were okay, pretty standard. The noodles I had were great. read more

Although my wife and I go out often and love FRESH and thoughtful food, we often are not impressed enough take the time to leave a review. This place is definitely the type of place you feel compelled to leave a review because this is everything you hope to find in a creative, fresh restaurant. We had pan fried dumplings which were the best we have ever had, and special appetizer of "Cambodian Grandma's veggie spring rolls, which are definitely not your average spring roll and noodle bowl and seafood pho and I cannot remember having better of either. Always busy, they do a huge takeout business so there may only be a few tables filled with people but they're always slammed. It's very expensive but also very authentic and delicious. I have never had a bad meal here and we've been several times. Drunken noodles or the pad Thai are my favorite. read more

Absolutely delicious! Authentic Thai food! A must for anyone in the area! We had Paper Shrimp... so fresh, homemade and nice authentic touch with fresh mint leaves, Bao with Pork belly, omg - so delicious! Grandmas spring rolls were sold out, so they must be good! We also tried fried dumplings, homemade dipping sauce was amazing. Then we shared a Bangkok Pad Thai with shrimp and veggies... we ordered too much but it was all worth it! Still like the food but this is the second time I've ordered food during Covid and upon pick up have witnessed the cook without a mask. The server/cashier had a mask both times. Unsettling - but we still ate the food. Won't be back until I get both of my vaccinations. Both pickups were "off" times b/w 3-4pm, so maybe she puts her mask when its busy. But really she should wear one when cooking period. read more

Today we did take out, this is always one of our favorite local places to eat. But due to Covid we tend to get take more often then not. Not quite the same but it's still good! The wife and I just decided we found our new comfort food/noodle restaurant. We both had the drunken noodles with minced chicken. She ordered her medium heat and I went full bore, being it on heat. By the end of the meal I was glowing. Very spicy and tasted outstanding. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything at needed. Easily lovable with a just few minor issues, thankfully none of which involve the food. We met friends on a Tuesday evening around 6 pm & were surprised at 2 things....how hot is was inside & how quickly it filled up for a random weeknight on a random corner in Westerly. The place is small, a few tables inside & a couple outside although none of us felt crammed in by any means. It was however really warm which gave the room a slightly dank smell, almost like all it wanted was a little air movement to be happy. Quite a few people showed up right after us & it was clear that 2 servers and 3-4 kitchen staff seemed caught off guard & overwhelmed...although our waitress stayed pleasant & attentive through it all. She did however discourage us from ordering dessert, stating how behind the kitchen was. We were told a scoop of ice cream was really all they could handle making for us at that time. Although we really did appreciate her brutal honesty, it was a bit of a disappointment. The food prior to that though was fantastic! My giant bowl of Tom Yum soup had great color & flavor and plenty of good stuff in with the noodles. We split some fluffy bao & I got the Pad Thai, all of which made me extremely happy about our choice to dine here. We'll be back for sure with two adjustments....we'll try a cooler night to save us from sweating & since we didn't realize NR was byob we'll be sure to bring something to enjoy with our meal. read more

One of the more consistent places I've ever been to. Always serving fresh and flavorful dishes. The dumplings are some of the best I've ever had, thin wrappings and served with kimchi( $1 xtra). The Thai charred beef salad is a must, the flavors are outstanding. You can order any dish medium, hot or very hot. They're not kidding with the very hot! Noodle Revolution is a no-frills Thai place that makes some really great food. We've been here a couple of times and ordered a range of items (fried rice, noodles, apps) and everything has been perfectly cooked and spiced. The portions *seem* to be on the smaller side when they arrive at your table, but they really are the perfect size -- not so much food that you feel gluttonous, but enough to feel satiated. Pro tip: Get the fried ice cream for dessert. Even if you're not hungry and even if you're the kind of person that never orders dessert when you go out to eat. Just do it. read more

Food was ok, waiter was personable, but the meal was certainly over priced and parking wasn't the best. The pan fried chicken-cilantro dumplings were amazing, so was the sauce that accompanied them, although the dumplings lacked any taste of cilantro. I should have stuck with two orders of that. The charred beef salad was very basil heavy and had no hint of the chili-lime dressing. The beef was tender enough but whatever was rubbed on it had an odd texture and taste (it may have been finely crushed peanuts?) Small drunken noodle was good, but we asked for beef and received chicken. We thought an error may happen since the waiter didn't write our order down. Seafood Tom Yum was good in that the calamari, shrimp, and scallops were perfectly cooked and fresh, but I had to squeeze three slices of lime to incorporate any real flavor. It was supposed to be medium spicy, but was on the sweet side. Just didn't have that depth or kick that most Tom Yums have. Seriously, why haven't I found this place sooner?! My daughter and I found this via Yelp and it was our lucky day! We went for a late lunch on a Friday in August. Only one other table was occupied when we went in, likely because of the odd time we went. While we were there, many people came to pick up their take-out orders. This place has authentic Asian food, but also some standard American fare. We had the spring rolls appetizer. They come with a sweet dipping sauce. Two thumbs up from us. My daughter had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. She said it was delicious! (She let me have a bite, and I agree.) I had the drunken noodles with flat noodles and beef; I ordered it hot; it was amazing and the spice was perfect. It was served in this miniature wok. If we lived closer, we'd be here every week! When we visit the area, we will definitely be back. The young man who waited on us was polite, personable, and very attentive. read more

Noodle Revolution. Oh how I love you!!! The first time I had heard about Noodle Revolution was through 96.7 The Buzz's facebook post when they had first opened. I thought "Oh, cool! This looks different!" and so I kept the restaurant in mind, but mistakenly did not try it until months after their open. One night I called the store around midnight. I was hungry, I wanted something out of the norm. Nothing is open that late, so I knew I wouldn't be able to eat there that night, however I was curious to what their hours were since I could not find it online at the time. I really was not expecting anyone to pick up the phone, but the owner surprisingly did! She was so nice and encouraged me to come into the restaurant soon. Right off the bat, great first impression of the woman who owns it and how she takes pride in customer service. A few weeks later, my friend and I finally had some free time off during the lunch hours and we got the chance to sit in and try Noodle Revolution for the first time. The inside is very different than I had imagined it, but it has a very relaxed and simple feel. Once we were sat, we looked over the menu, which is a few sheets of paper stapled together. (Easy, straightforward, which I enjoy very much!) I decided on the drunken noodles, with rice flat, beef, and medium spice. My friend ordered the Tom Yum. Both were so delicious! I am not one for shrimp or really any seafood, however the Tom Yum changed me a bit. And the drunken noodles will hold a very special place in my heart! Since then, I have dined in with my friends a handful of times. We met the owner one night, and she somehow remembered our seating arrangement, and our orders by the second time we all went in together. We all want to feel like we have a connection with the people at our favorite restaurants, and she makes everyone feel right at home! Now, I have tried many of their menu options, and not one has let me down. I recently moved right down the road from Noodle Revolution so I feel a little ashamed to admit that I will probably order Noodle Revolution three times a week. Sometimes, I will order the drunken rice pot, with chicken and medium spice, but the item only comes in one size, so I order 2 for myself. I honestly have a problem!! But this isn't about me. Do not let the off road parking stop you from trying the best place in town to eat. Noodle revolution has delicious food, great ambiance, and the friendliest staff. Dining in is such a wonderful experience, bring your close friends and share some stories. You won't be let down! I know there is more to say about this restaurant, but I have become so hungry just writing this review. I hope Noodle Revolution stays in business forever! Awesome lunch place with rice bowls, noodle bowls, noodle soup, dumplings, chicken wings... I need to go back to taste more of the menu. We tried the Thai beef salad which had mint leaves, sesame seeds, grilled steak with tons of flavor, the Thai beef rice bowl which was also super flavorful with ground beef, basil and a fried egg (And I added veggies to it which I highly recommend to break up the meat and rice with some fiber :)) and the Tom Yum Ramen which was just a straightforward noodle soup but my favorite of the three because it was SO flavorful with perfectly cooked ramen. They started us off with one complementary dumpling and spring roll for each person, which were both delicious and a nice way to try both apps for free. The server was friendly, though they could use a second person to speed things up. The food took awhile to come out because there was only one chef. And the decor was confusing, with the feel of a cheap Italian lunch spot which didn't match the fun, modern menu or the unique Thai fusion food. Also a little odd that you can put spaghetti, linguini or fettuccini into your Asian noodle bowl, but then again maybe it's better than I think.
