Went a couple months ago. Every other table was closed to remain social distance during the pandemic. We ordered pad thai, a very common dish served at any Thai restaurant. It came to the table a little bland, not much peanut flavor. When we told the waitress she tried charging any extra for the peanut sauce. We didn't want extra, we just wanted the original amount that should've gone with the order. Anyways there lots of good Thai restaurants nearby with good pad thai, we'll be going there instead. read more

I would not recommend their red curry. I'm not sure if it was an off day or that's how it is all of the time, but the first bite I had I immediately knew it wasn't something I enjoyed. Red curry is one of my favorite dishes. Definitely not from here, though. Thankfully the server took the food back as I absolutely did not like it despite trying to eat it and force myself to like it. However, I *loved* the crispy chicken green curry. I'll come back for that dish alone. Would like to try the red curry to see if it's actually good on other days, but wouldn't waste money trying it myself for a second time. Great lunch spot. They have a lunch special that includes quite a bit of food, so come hungry. If you have been to the Noodle Wave on Spring Valley, it's the same food (which is great) and service is pretty good. As for dishes, the one thing that is a bit odd to me is their pad kee mow/drunken noodles. For some reason theirs has a bit of a sour taste and is a bit more wet than some other places. It's not super offensive or anything, just not what it tastes like at many other Thai restaurants, which may be a good thing depending on your point of view. read more

My family visited the restaurant for lunch, even though our recent experiences have not been favorable. We ordered veggie curry puffs & it was pretty good. For main entree we ordered chicken red curry, chicken teriyaki. We were not asked the level of spiciness, so we had to eat what we were served. The quality of the red curry is not the same anymore, very little coconut milk was used, so it didn't taste creamy like it used to. Maybe we should go to the restaurant on 75N & see if they changed the recipe. For desert, we ordered fried bananas with mango ice cream. They put dry coconut flakes on it & it made it worse, there is no mention of it in the description. We asked the waiter & he said they always put it . We ate but we didn't enjoy the lunch, probably never going back. read more

This was the first time I had Thai food, and it was average. We had the pad see eew, which is a combination of bok choy, egg, cucumber, asparagus, and a choice of beef, chicken or tofu. The food here didn't blow me away, but it wasn't bad by any means. At first glance the portion looks large, but a lot of the actual dish was vegetables. I don't have much other thai experiences, but the food itself was not ok. Service was good overall, and the waitress performed well, especially after she had to serve multiple tables. It was a social atmosphere, and a bit on the noisy side. All in all, it was an average restaurant in terms of food. read more

I have been to this location several time and I love their delicious Thai food. My favorites are the tofu pad see ew, roti and green curry and almond siracha chicken. Very nice atmosphere and their customer service is great. Lighting is a bit dim which is nice for dinner. read more

Had a much better experience with Noodle Wave the past few visits to bump this up to four stars. Got the tom yum noodle soup with chicken this past time and the broth was super delicious, packed with tons of spice, lemongrass, mushrooms, tomatoes, and chicken. My husband got the yellow curry, which was less thick than usual, but still delicious! You get pretty generous portions for the price paid. It's also nice and clean here. One star still lost from mediocre service. Our waiter was just meh about being there and constantly chatted with other staff than worked (other waiters were running around filling waters and helping out). read more

All I have to say is YUM. I got yellow curry and my husband got teriyaki chicken. Both absolutely delicious. Every server was attentive and helpful. It was our first time going to Noodle Wave. The place is smaller than I thought it would be, but it was almost packed. We went for dinner around 6 on a friday night. The service was awesome, the eggrolls were great. Ive been to many thai restaurants and they have one of the better eggrolls. The atmosphere of the whole place was family friendly. Loved the decor and the lights and the small fake plants they had on the tables. The place was packed but it only took like 15 minutes for the food to come out. Our waters were always full and the servers kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. The only reason its 5 stars was because i didnt fancy the curry I had gotten, and my man didnt really enjoy his fried rice he had gotten. The meat in the fried rice was pretty good quality especially compared to other places. We just thought the service was excellent so we didnt want to send the food back. read more

Beautiful decor, food OK I went there today all excited to try the "Red Curry" on the manu they say egplant is in the recipe. There was a place downtown with egplant in the red curry and it was amazing. I was hoping this could be a local place just as good. I was disappointed. The Red curry did not have any of the usual sweet coconut milk flavor which is always such a good contrast with the spicy. There was none of that familiar coconut base flavor and in fact the sauce was a bit gritty. There was also no egplant either as claimed in the menu. This was one of the worst dining experiences I had their service was so bad I set for at least 20 minutes before I had to ask for someone to serve me and then I waited for 30 to 40 minutes to get my food, it felt racial, I Wouldn't that recommend black people to go there at all keep your money in your pocket!!! The food is actually pretty good-always consistent in taste and portions are as generous as ever. So why only 3 stars? That's because the service SUCKS...and even the best-tasting food can't make up for catty waitresses. I ordered the Roti Curry- an orange curry w/ veggies and your choice of meat served alongside rice and a "roti" (technically it's a paratha, but you get the point). My husband said, "I'll have the same thing, except w/ Green Curry instead of the orange one". So he wanted Green Curry w/ a roti on the side, in other words. Our waitress wrote it down, repeated it back to us to clarify what we wanted, and went about her way. The food comes out and a few bites in, we remember that he had ordered Green Curry and was served the orange kind instead. So I politely explained this to the waitress when she comes by again. I'm not looking to complain just to be difficult or have my meal comped- I just wanted to bring it to their attention that we got something other than what was ordered. She gets extremely defensive and insists that my husband ordered "Roti Curry"...I said "yes, but he wanted Green instead of the usual orange curry and we mentioned that when we ordered". She gave me a really dirty look, opened her notepad to where she wrote our order down and showed it to me (as though this is a reading comprehension exercise), and it said "Roti Curry"...I told her that all this shows is that she wrote the incorrect order down, not that we suddenly decided to make up a story about how we wanted something different. I mean, what would we get out of saying that we got the wrong item for no reason? That's dumb. Then she argued that we should've phrased the order differently and gave us a list of Curry Commandments: Roti Curry can only be orange and Green Curry never comes w/ a roti! Except she repeated our order back to us when we placed it, so you do the math. For her to go off on us that way when *she* made a mistake was a lot more inflammatory than the red chillies floating around in my entree. Maybe admit that you're at fault and work w/ the customer to figure out a solution that makes everyone happy. Or I guess you can argue, suggest that the customers are either lying or kind of stupid, and just prioritize your ego over your customer's satisfaction. Don't establishments want customers to communicate about any issues, so that they have a chance to improve their service? Or would they rather customers just leave annoyed, stiff the waitstaff, and never return instead? She then just walked away leaving the issue totally unresolved, so I decided that we wouldn't be returning to Noodle Wave after that meal. Then when I was literally in the middle of bringing my fork to my mouth, a different waitress comes over to ask if I'm done and if she can clear our table. I mean, I'm mid-bite...so obviously no, I am not done. I get that you're busy and have people waiting for a table, but BRB I'm eating rn. Service SUCKS...this was a major turnoff that no amount of culinary expertise can compensate for. Find a different Thai place, or be prepared for food w/ a side of unnecessary attitude. read more

The have 2 TVs, one with sports and one with Food Network. They also played Disney music over the speakers. This was a nice touch. I ordered pineapple fried rice. I would have preferred more pineapple and cashew, but I thought the chicken had a nice seasoning which I rarely find in fried rice. My mouth swelled up and no one really GAF. I loove pad see ew, so I decided to get theirs since they also include bok choy. The taste was a little sweeter than how it should be, but it didn't bother me too much. Halfway through my dish, my mouth started swelling, lips started going numb. It was weird cause my plate had no form of peppers or chili, besides I can eat whole habeneros and be fine. I am not allergic to broccoli, bok choy, chicken, or noodles. I've eaten pad see ew plenty of times and never once have I had an allergic reaction. I asked our server what types of spices were in the dish, instead of answering my question, they asked, "are you sure you're not allergic to something?". I'm really not allergic to anything that WOULD be in pad see ew, but in the case that I was, how would I know if you don't tell me what's in it?? Instead of grabbing the manager, they brought out another server. The second server proceeded to ask me again, "are you allergic to something?". Sigh, guess I'm gonna die here and not know exactly what caused it. read more

As far as Thai goes, this place is it! The food was fresh and came out piping hot. I had the crab rangoon which you could tell it was made to order. Light and fluffy filling. Delicious! The food at noodle wave is always excellent. What really hurts this business is the lady who works at the front desk area during a workday lunch (don't know her name but she's petite with glasses). She was the greeter at the front door and seemed to be the server for some of the tables as well. She is curt, rude, and not at all pleasant. I asked her a couple of basic questions about items on the menu and she honestly seemed irritated that she had to talk to me at all. As the face of the business, she is a very poor representation of noodle wave. Her demeanor is a gigantic turn off. I am not sure that I will be visiting this location again. read more

Ordered to go from here today. The pad Thai was mediocre. Almost no veggies in it, and even the lime they put on it was brown. The green curry was the best dish I ordered. It was passable but it had one vegetable in it that might've been egg plant that was a little weird.. The pad see ew, was awful. Went there with the family for dinner on a Sunday. Interesting place, interior decor is a train wreck with a hilariously bad digital fireplace over the kitchen. It's obvious someone tried. My experience was probably atypical, but when I ordered the Thai Tea I was sick to my stomach within 5 minutes of finishing it. It took 20 minutes for the appetizers to come out, and about an hour from when we sat down for our food to come out. I had to box up my food to go because I couldn't eat it. Felt overpriced, decent food but not great, and whatever was up with the Thai tea. Cashew nut stir fry was probably a 6 out of 10 on my scale. Wife's Thai Basil stir fry was the same. She ordered 4/4 spicy, but it was still pretty mild. My daughter had a taste of the tea and got sick too, but it passed quickly for her presumably as she didn't have very much. Ordered the crab fried rice with a medium spicy. It came out looking like plain white rice with egg on top. When, I asked the waitress if it had been seasoned she looked at it and said it didn't look like i. I asked her if she could show me the crabmeat in the dish and she then squinted and showed me something that like like a small fiberglass particle and said there it is. Before, when I have ordered this dish the amount of crab and the seasoning is what made the dish delicious but not now. They still have good portion size but with out the main ingredients it comes across as skimping on what makes Noodle Wave great. Service was poor in bringing or not bringing what we asked. Missed eating a meal with my family because of the order being wrong. Really hope they will address this as I will not be going back because of it. read more
