My first time to any Noodles and Company. We were visiting OSU and needed a quick bite to eat. Walked in and saw a large seating area and only 3 tables occupied. Ordered two plates - Pad Thai and Buttery Parmesan Noodles. Both came out within 10 minutes. They brought it out to the table even though we didn't have a table number. Good memory! I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the Pad Thai was. Honestly wasn't expecting much since it's not an Asian restaurant and it's pretty much fast food. My partner is gluten free so I ordered the chicken Caesar salad with no croutons, and they were on it. We have come here a few times over the years, but never again. They always screw up carryout orders. I know, I should tear the bag apart and make sure things are okay, but today I just read the itemized list and it was right so I left. One item was not in the bag, didn't see it till I got home. I had a pretty good experience at this Noodles and Company. It had some of the most common cuisines with noodles including Asian which is the best of these. There seems to be some problems with service. It was likely due to too many idiot students working there. The food was impressive considering it's a chain so it helped to make up for it. I ordered the bangkok curry with tofu and thai curry soup. It was about $12 for the meal. The Bangkok curry noodles absorbed the flavors of the curry. It tasted like they were fresh rather than made from a can. The soup was also surprisingly very strong. It was good but it was a bit overpriced for the amount. The most impressive thing they had there was the Coca Cola freestyle pop machine. It has all kinds of flavor combinations. This can be found in many other restaurants so this isn't a reason to come here. It would be nice if the food was more consistent because it costs more than fast food so it should be better. The service was okay considering it was all mostly braindead college students behind the counter. I would go to this Noodles and Company because it has been the best location. Location is great, food is good and not overpriced. I love the balcony seating area! Workers are typically nice and accomodating! The manager, however, is not so accomodating. He tells people who deliver Noodles (who are helping the business) that they must place an order over the phone rather than order using the app. Very often so, the workers won't pick up the phone or I will be put on hold. Any noodle fans would love it here. Just about everything here involves pasta. What's cool about it is you can pick your style of noodle out of three choices: American, Asian or Mediterranean. Each choice has several different options. This Noodles & Co. opened pretty recently on the OSU campus. It's kind of nice, because even though it's right on High St. towards north campus, there is a parking lot in the back so getting there isn't a problem if you're not already on campus. Since it's newly built, it's also very nice inside. I think it's a nice addition to the campus fare because it's not really too expensive. And there's a lot of variety here. Even though everything is made with noodles each dish is significantly different. They also have a few salad and soup options if you're not into carbs. Noodles & Co. is kind of a fast food type place but it doesn't taste like it. The food is really quick and they have fountain drinks that you get yourself, so it's fast if you want to go in and pick something up to take home. But they also serve beer and wine if you're wanting a real drink with your pasta. Let's talk noodle food! My favorite dish here is the Penne Rosa. It's so good! This Mediterranean dish is penne noodles in a creamy tomato sauce with mushrooms and spinach. All of the dishes have the option of coming with your choice of meat (shrimp, chicken, beef or tofu), but each dish suggests one to you. I go with their suggestion here: The parmesan-crusted chicken. So good! They have two sizes of pasta bowls here, regular and large. I usually go with the regular and it's plenty for me. With meat, it's about $6. And it's really high-quality tasting food! If you get the larger dish with meat it's about $8. I think you pay about $2 extra if you want meat or tofu on your pasta. I've heard great things about their macaroni and cheese but I've never tried it. I've also tried the Pasta Fresca. This is also penne pasta with onions and tomatoes and it's got this white wine garlic sauce. And a little cheese on top. And I always get it with chicken! I've also had the Japanese Pan Noodles. Udon noodles in soy sauce! I get chicken on this too, and there's also mushrooms, sprouts and broccoli on it, too. Things I want to try: The spicy Indonesian Peanut Saute. I forgot to mention that some of these dishes can be spicy, so pay attention to what you order! One time when my boyfriend and I came here to eat he bought us each cookies! They have them individually wrapped by the cash register and he couldn't resist them. He got me a snickerdoodle (cinnamon and sugar) and himself a chocolate chip. The cookies are quite big and so so good! They are soft and chewy and I am craving one just thinking about them. If you stop in to get some noodles, grab a cookie for dessert, too! Another time that we came here it was free noodle day. I think they wanted to get students to try the place out, so they lured them in there with free noodles. I heard about it and I was so there. We had to wait in a long line but it was moving pretty fast. You had three dishes you could choose from that day to make things easier. Luckily for me, my Penne Rosa was one of them, so that's what I got. Even when they were swamped with customers and the line was out the door and all the way down the sidewalk, I was quite impressed with how quick and efficient they were. The people taking our orders were also friendly despite the craziness of the restaurant at the time. We told them what we wanted and our bags or food were quickly handed to us and then we got a free fountain drink as well. It was really cool. We took the food home to avoid the busy restaurant setting and found that the high quality was still there! They didn't skimp on the food and it still tasted great. It was hot and delicious. I was impressed. If you get the food to go it comes in a big plastic bowl with a lid. But if you eat in the restaurant it actually comes on plates and you use real silverware to eat it. This also helps it to differ from fast food. It's a pretty nice place to go in and eat. I'm not the biggest fan of pasta. Sure I like it, but this place makes me love it. The sauces are really good and they serve the dishes with plenty of it so you're not just eating dry noodles. Even though the menu is kind of small, the combinations of dishes and meat can extend your number of choices. And while it's not exactly cheap, the prices are pretty appropriate and you won't leave here thinking that you overpaid. One tip about this location is that you might want to avoid the lunch hour and dinnertime just in case so you're not dealing with a huge student crowd. I usually come in the early afternoons and it's fine. And there's always a place to park in the back since most of the people that come here are students who walk. (There's also a back entrance so you don't have to walk around to the front of the building when you park back there.) read more

Low on groceries and short on time before heading into work I decided to face my fear of eating alone in a restaurant. Having been a Columbus native for three years now, it comes as almost a shock to me that I have just finally dined at Noodles & Company for the very first time. The wait was well worth it, let me tell you. Trying to be 'healthy' I opted for the small Mediterranean salad (hold the red onions) and a side of Tomato Bisque soup. Surprisingly, my food came out before any of the to-go customers. The soup was delicious (in my opinion better than Panera's tomato bisque), and the salad was fresh with just the right amount in combination with the Tomato Bisque. After eating alone, I have since returned with a friend and got the Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine. I took this opportunity to try her meal as well and taste-tested the Japanese Pan Noodles. Both were filling and bursting with unique flavors. Noodles & Company is a nice change. With their combination of Asian style cuisine, American cuisine, and Mediterranean cuisine it's easy to break from the normal and try something new to fit many moods. Everything on the menu is affordable at all items priced below $8. This specific location has both indoor and outdoor seating giving customers the options of enjoying the weather or escaping it. My top two suggestions would be 1. If you're in a rush, definitely dine in if you can, and 2. It's a great place to eat solo, especially during midday hours. read more

A fairly straight-forward menu, with reasonable prices. I hadn't been here before, I decided to wander in for lunch to get something relatively small because I wasn't very hungry. I browsed over the menu, had a few options that looked good to me, and settled on a small steak stroganoff to go. The food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time, for what I ordered. The food itself was good, but nothing to write home about. My main complaint would be that the noodles were just boxed noodles that I can buy at any grocery store. Since the name is "Noodles & Company", I expected the noodles to be the best part... Some noodles were slightly over-cooked, but no so much so that I cared. The meat and mushrooms were cooked well....but the sauce really saved the dish. Return trip with a "we're sorry" gift card and it was again bad. I got a meatball sub and the meatballs were dried out and just the generic kind you can get at GFS - not hard to mess those up. The bread was tasty but the presentation was sloppy it was not a edible as a sandwich I had to eat with knife and fork. My son's sub was asked to be just meat and and alternate cheese . . . they ignored that and made it their way. We sent it back and they still got it wrong!! At least this time the table and the condiment tray was not sticky and coated in crud so it seems that they listened to me on my last visit and cleaned them. My recent order was the Thai Curry soup, which was also fine. I've had significantly better pasta in my days, but when you come a place like this, you shouldn't be expecting to have your mind blown. For me, this is mostly a place to grab lunch or dinner with co-workers. It's close to Ohio State's campus, and doesn't take too long. While it's not expensive, I wouldn't say it's a great value, because you don't get all that much food. But at least there is a good variety of different types of noodles, so everyone should be able to find something acceptable. I don't get too excited about eating at Noodles & Co. I think it's pricey for what you get, which is mediocre food that is a touch on the bland side. But my boyfriend gets cravings for it occasionally, and drags me along with him. So far, I've tried quite a few items on the menu. The Japanese pan noodles are pretty good. The Indonesian peanute saute is heavy on the noodles and light on the sauce (I'd rather have it the other way around). The truffle mac and cheese is, in my humble opinion, not so much better than the Wisconsin mac and cheese that it justifies the extra cost. The spaghetti and meatballs are okay, and so is the penne rosa. Overall, it's decent food that might be worth checking out if you're close by. Otherwise, it is not worth driving to. There are plenty of other tastier options. Be sure to sign up for Noodles & Co's e-club on its website. They may spam you with annoying promotions of their food, but once in a while you get a special coupon (such as buy one noodle entree, get one free) and you get a free bowl of noodles for your birthday. read more

I particularly enjoy their marinara sauce on plain noodles. Both spicy and regular are delightful. The staff is very friendly, always ready to assist in customizing the dish you want prepared. They occasionally bring the wrong thing, but this happens frequently to vegans and they will always replace it with no trouble. On the subject of replacing, if you try something new and you don't like it, they will replace it for free. I frequent the Noodles near Graceland since it's close to my work and rather quick. There are so many options &variations of options on the menu, it always takes me a while to figure what to order! The large & regular portions are good. Not huge, but like actual portions of food we should be eating... unfortunately the salad portions are totally meager. My side salad as literally like three bites of greens with a few tomatoes & dressing. A little dissappointing. Truffle mac & cheese is very tasty. Again portioning is a little off, as the bowl is mostly noodles & sauce and not very much mushrooms. For a chain restaurant, Noodles is on the healthier side than most. Noodles and Company is a great option near campus that is different from the usual places that get sickening after a while. They offer many different tasty options at a good price. Most of the dishes are pastas, but they also have good salad and soup, and I saw recently that they started making flatbreads. I would assume those are good as well. They have good chicken noodle soup and I get the asian style salad alot too. Most of the pasta dishes are good. They have one with pesto and some veggies. One called pasta fresca with a light oil sauce and onions and some other veggies. Really thick japanese udon noodles in a really good kind of sweet and spicy dry sauce. Everyone likes the macaroni and cheese except me. Anything I have ever tried has at least been decent, and if I didn't like it, it doesn't mean you wont because all the food is good quality.
