I could have sworn I posted a review already but not seeing it, so here we go... Third time here, second time getting to eat. First time we got here a little late and it was their opening day so they sold out. The prices are a little higher than you'd see in like San Jose, or LA, but there aren't any Asian stores nearby to get the supplies as quickly and easily as the larger cities. Both times we got pho and the beef bibimbap, or hot stone rice bowl as they call it. First time we got the egg rolls for appetizer, this time we went with Kpop spicy wings. Both are delicious and I'll be getting both again in the future. The soup and bibimbap have great flavor, don't forget to ask for the sweet soy sauce and watch that hot stone bowl sizzle! This is the perfect spot on a rainy day. Can't wait to see their full menu soon.

Been eyeing this place ever since seeing the "Coming Soon" banner waving in front of the building in mid-November 2022. Now that it's officially open, I'm certainly glad there is some variety from the Mexican-centric and fast food restaurants surrounding it in LB. Noodles Pho U serves mainly Vietnamese dishes with a sprinkling of various Asian cuisines (Korean, Filipino, etc.). We went when the menu was more limited, and the only things being served were: Appetizers - Egg rolls - tteokbokkki (Korean rice cakes) - 2 types of Korean chicken wings (spicy or soy garlic) Noodle Soup - Pho rib - Pho brisket - Pho combo (brisket, meatball, tripe, tendon) Stone Bowl Rice - Chicken - Beef - Pork Drinks - Cans of soda for 1.99 each We came on a Friday for lunch. We were seated immediately (luckily beating the rush!), and ordered the following: - Soy garlic wings (8 pc) - came with a side of shaved cabbage with a sweet Japanese mayo dressing. One of the flats was criminally tiny, but the taste and crisp of the chicken was great. - Pho combo - broth was very star anise/cinnamon forward and hit the spot. Came with a decent amount of meat. I also wished the default veggie plate that comes with pho had Thai basil instead of cilantro. - Stone bowl rice w pork - delicious crispy rice but not enough meat proportion. Overall our 3 items came out to $50 pre-tax. Service was fine. I hope to visit again when their menu expands (peeped a 'Boba' sign on the side of the building, but asking the waitress she said it isn't on the menu yet)!

This is the second time eating at Noodles Pho U. The first time I went the food was okay but this time I got the Hot bowl fried rice with chicken. It came with a cup of soup. It was better in flavor than the meatball soup that I had the previous time. Only thing is the food here lacks flavor. I had to spice it up with sriracha and the hoisin sauce. The inside is always clean and the derive is great for only having 1 person. I would just recommend they include a spice level on their food options.

Apparently I didn't prepare a review after my first visit a few months ago. So here we go. The first time around my youngest son and I needed some Pho in a bad way. My family and I have also been waiting with bated breath for this place to open as soon as we heard the rumor it was coming. Then the sign went up and felt like a really cruel joke as it took forever to open. Then finally, I saw on a FB group that they were announcing their "soft opening". I let a couple weeks go by in case there were kinks they needed to iron out. I really wanted this place to win my heart..lol! Our first time around we ordered the following: 1. Egg rolls: decent, kinda hard to mess up deep fried eggrolls. 2. Soy Fried Chicken Wings: eh and a tad on the salty side for us. 3. Son ordered the #3 meatball pho, to which he devoured so I took that as he enjoyed it. 4. I ordered the #1 combo pho. Portion was large just as my son's was. It came with a lot of meat. I had asked the waitress if they offered tendon and she said yes which is a huge plus in my book. The broth was rich and flavor was on point. It was so soothing and comforting. The garnish veggies were fresh and vibrant in color and they don't skimp on these goodies which was nice. At that time they were out of the rice cakes dish so was kinda bummed. Who doesn't like a yummy plate of hot tteokbokki? I knew there would be a next time so not too bummed. Fast forward to my second visit. This time I brought my eldest son whom is a vegetarian. We ordered the following: 1. Spicy K-pop fried chicken: I asked for them to be cooked well done and crispy. As I remembered from the last time I visited that was kind of where those wings were lacking aside from the saltiness. These were sticky and delicious. Not salty at all. Came with a side of cabbage slaw. 2. Spring rolls: ordered them minus the shrimp so my son could enjoy. Not that I couldn't just pull the shrimp out if they refused to make the change. She was able to appease my request. 3. Beef Glass Noodle: also known as japchae. Slices of beef were thin enough that I picked them out for my son, so I could eat it. Noodles were nice and slippery. Sauce and seasoned well. The Wood Ear mushrooms they added were a nice touch and welcomed at that! The portion of this dish was also nice. Definitely something that can share if accompanied with other items. 4. Tofu Hot Stone Fried Rice: this came in a hot stone bowl and kept the dish nice and hot the entire time. Came topped with large slices of fried tofu and scrambled egg. It was delicious. Seasoned well and went well with the japchae and my chicken wings. 5. We both had thai teas and it came with boba. Delicious. I like this place because not only does it offer the pho it has korean items on their menu that my family likes. Only thing that disappointed me was when asked if they had rice cakes this day I was told they no longer offer the dish. Isn't enough of a disappointment to write this place off, we will be back.

Tried this place out, I'm not a huge fan of pho but they had a good amount of other options. I ordered Spicy Beef Bulgogi with rice. I really enjoyed it, the level of spice was just right. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. Would come back and try more items on their menu!

I was so excited to try this new restaurant as I love Korean food! It was our first time, so we ordered several dishes to split between the five of us. It exceeded my expectations by a lot! My favorite dish was the beef bulgogi over white rice. I added a sunny side egg on top and it was perfectly undercooked so that it would finish cooking when I mixed it into the bowl. SO YUMMY. My second favorites were a tie: the k-pop spicy chicken and the beef sandwich. Both tasted fresh and delicious. We also tried brisket and flank pho, sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, and beef glass noodles. We were all very full and satisfied after the meal. Service was also great. Super attentive and sweet servers. Happy to accommodate our requests like the added egg and boba to go. Their Thai tea boba is the best boba I've had in town. So excited for this restaurant. I know we'll be back soon for lunch to get some sandwiches! Looking forward to taking out of town friends when they visit as well. A new fave!

The food was delicious. First, we tried the eggrolls and we liked that they were crunchy on the outside. We also tried the Kpop spicy wings and they were ok, nothing special in my opinion. The pho had a really good flavor. Nice big bowls too. But the best part was the sizzling rice bowl. I got the chicken and absolutely loved it. I appreciate that staff came around and advised us on how to best enjoy it. I attached a picture of my bowl mixed up. It's currently still in its soft opening so the menu is small. I hope they'll have more when they open.

When I got there, there were still some empty open tables, however, as I was leaving, it seems like they're just about all filled up. I got the Mr. milkman cocktail and it was pretty tasty, although I did notice how it appeared, as if there were a lot of wines and other beverages that they were out of. Even with my cocktail, they had to substitute the base with soda water, although it was still tasty. There was probably about 7 to 8 wines/sakes that were crossed out on the menu. Food came out fast, and the service was decent on that chefs end. I got the Korean Stone bowl dish, and It was pretty tasty, although fairly expensive for what it was... rice, veggies, and a little bit of beef, but I do like the concept of having a hot bowl that progressively warms up the rest of the food inside. I really do wish there was more meat inside for the price, I feel like only two or three bites had beef. One thing that I really noticed (and I think I noticed even more because I was sitting at the bar) was how servers and the bartenders spent a lot more time conversing with their friends (who were sitting at the bar) then checking in on some of the other people. Someone did approach me to put in my drink order, but I flagged down the server to put all my other food orders in. I don't think anybody came and asked how my meal was either. I do enjoy the overall ambience of the place, dim mood lighting, a minimalist esthetic, and a bar that really nicely displays some of their high end liquors.
