One Bite Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings 一口生煎包 (猪肉)

For a Monday this small dumpling place was busy. It was just my son and I having dinner. We ordered the one bite fried dumplings and they were great. The scallion pancake with sliced beef was delicious although the serving is typically 4 pieces he dove in before I could get a picture. My triple beef noodle soup was exactly what I wanted. This place was a nice meal.

Really good! I wanted to grab some takeout in the area and Noodumpling (which I didn't know was actually called Noodle Dumpling until I got to Yelp) was highly rated. For an appetizer, entree, and small dessert it was $29 which is a little steep, but it was high quality. Pro tip: Stop in next door at A Mart to grab some tasty Asian snacks and dessert.

Looking for a quick bite while food shopping in Hicksville, I dropped into Noodle Dumpling. They are locate in a shopping center right next door to a Chinese supermarket. Ambience: a step above takeout, but not quite table service. Feels like they are going for a modern starbucks vibe Food: Noodumpling tries to be an All In one Asian Food court and manages to succeed. They had Japanese Ramen, Chinese noodle soups, dumplings, dim sum, and bubble tea. TL/DR: This is a great choice if you are with a group of people who can't agree on what they want to eat.

Came here to try this dumpling cup bowl thing everyone is raving about with one of my boys. Situated next door to a Chinese market, so the smell inside the store is overpowered by the smell of the supermarket sadly so not sure if I would ever eat there BUT the Bun Cup, your favorite soda in the cup below with a bowl of pan fried dumplings is worth the trip here! Juicy flavorful mini dumplings that won't spill or drop while you eat in the car. It's genius and I'm here for it!

The place is a hidden gem in Hicksville. Food is solid, please is clean. Don't forget to ask them about their combo, this is such a great deal. Super worth it.

We walked in on what seemed like a slow weekday evening. Unfortunately, the person taking the order seemed to be the only one there, you could see her take the orders and then go back to the kitchen to cook all the food. Our order took quite a while to come out as there were also two large pick-up orders. For appetizer, we got the pork soup dumplings. They were not too thick and not overly spiced, though still very flavorful. Not bad. I had the mapo tofu for entree and my brother got the braised beef noodle with soup. The mapo tofu was a little different than ones I am used to, as it was very heavy on the hot oil, peppercorns and the Mala flavor. I still really enjoyed my dish. My brother's beef noodle was very nice, with tender pieces of beef and a rich hearty broth. Overall, I felt the set-up of the restaurant with the kiosks that we were discouraged from using for dine-in and the one person taking orders, making food, and serving for the whole restaurant was a little strange. But in terms of the food, the food was good and clean, if somewhat random. This feels like a Chinese/pan-East Asian diner.

After a quick stop at the next door Asian mart, our kids were hungry so we popped in for a late lunch around 2-2:30 pm. As far as service, ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms, I would give them 5 stars. I must've come in an off day because the noodle soup we ordered were extremely salty to the point that none of us were able to drink the broth. However, the popcorn chicken and sausage were delicious, crispy and piping hot. Places can have an off day so, we're willing to try it again another time because of the great service, spotless tables and bathrooms and deli ious side menus.

Had the braised beef noodle soup, the sausages, and the french fries. I miraculously came across this place searching for another place a few minutes away from a Reddit thread. I saw they had shoestring fries, and after Houston's closed I've been craving them like mad. They did not disappoint! They comes with some kind of sauce already on there (teriyaki sauce or something vinegar-y) and cilantro which is an odd choice but it works. They're salted well and they taste great while still having that wonderful crunch only a very thin fry can have. The soup was fantastic. Slightly spicy like you'd like it but not overpowering, and the beef was incredibly tender, made enjoying it very easy. I did add an egg and I don't think J got it, but I'll deal. They changed my noodles to soba noodles and they were great! The sausage is a sausage, a bit sweet and interesti g but a normal asian sausage. There was no one eating here when we were there, which is sad, this place was fantastic and it really feels like a hidden gem. They were getting doordash orders pretty often, and they're definitely worth it. The employees were also both very nice, and took care of us well. I intend on coming back and trying more of their menu!

Taste good, good price. Me and my family love to come here for lunch. Recommend!

Me and my family love coming to this place for brunch! The pork braised rice bowl is very meaty and flavorful, while the ramen is very delicious and filling. Recommend!

The wonton soup was decent......wontons were very good but the broth however was a bit bland. Roast pork fried rice was pretty good.....a little dry and skimpy on the pork but the flavor was more than adequate. Hot and sour soup was really tasty with a good bit of spice. Scallion bubble pancake was very light and tasty. The Emperor cabbage appetizer was probably my favorite meal item.....crispy cabbage tossed in a peanuty garlic sauce with honey. It was served cold (which usually I'm not a big fan of, but this was an exception) and had a great flavor. Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

We're already familiar with this restaurant because it's the sister restaurant to our favorite, Orient Garden in New Hyde Park. My husband ordered the Country Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion was very generous--I forgot to take a photo until he was halfway through his meal, and he still had leftovers to bring home. I ordered the 2 1/2-pound Vancouver crab over rice noodles. It was absolutely delicious. The crab was perfectly seasoned with garlic and scallions, and the rice noodles soaked up all of the wonderful flavors. I was completely satisfied with my meal, and the portion was equally generous. What really made the experience special was the hospitality. Owner Tom leads an excellent team, and every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. Our servers, Hai Wen and Summer, checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!

Not a very big place but sufficient number of tables. For dim sum, they do have carts that go around and you can order or order via the menu and they will bring it to you. We ordered our staple dishes: shumai, fried crispy dumpling with pork, fried dough wrapped noodles, shrimp noodles, beef noodles, roast pork buns- all to share. Tea to wash it down with. Prices on par with those in Chinatown, Flushing etc. Overall food was was ok and service was good. Plenty of options on the menu if dining for dim sum, lunch or dinner. Shared parking lot with other stores in the area.

Global Buffet is a huge restaurants inside a large brick building and is hard to miss. There is plenty of parking as it sits in a large shopping area. We came on a random weekday and I was surprised how busy this place was. We were a slightly large group so it did take a minute for them to put some tables together. Customer service was great from start to finish. Our table stayed clean and our drinks stayed full. My uncle footed the bill, but I glanced at the prices and they are very reasonable here. The buffet setup is massive. I've honestly only seen bigger in Vegas. They had about 3 rows of foods. On top of that, off to the side, they have salad and dessert bars, a hibachi station, and a large sushi station. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the offerings are truly global. They have a variety of different cuisines but the main focus is Chinese food. I had a flight to catch after this meal so I took it a little easy on my intake. I started off with sushi. For a buffet, the sushi was actually pretty decent. Set your expectations correctly and you will enjoy it. Everything else I tried throughout the buffet was good. No complaints from anyone in our party. Overall, for a Chinese buffet, this spot was not bad at all. I wouldn't seek it out or feel compelled to come back, but would not complain if the family brought us back here again.

I wish I could say better things about this place. I had high hopes going in. The building is huge, ut the tables are water damaged and the chairs are worn out. I will never come back here. My fiance said it best, the food is like warm left overs and not in the nice way. The food is mediocre at best. I am not one to spit out food, especially in a restaurant. I unfortunately had to spit things out with 3 different items I tried. Two were unable to be chewed. One was a spicy beef, I could not bite into the meat or cut it. The second calamari, rubber and hard, just don't. The last was a cake a nepolian I belive and it was stale and the cream was oddly solid. There was some decent food but nothing to write home about. The service isn't bad, but it was definitely awkward. The staff is attentive, but they will stand over you and speak to each other in their native language as if you are not there. I would say avoid this place.
