I wanted a meal that was soup based because of the cold weather outside. We remembered that Noodumpling has recently opened, so we wanted to try it out! I loved how the restaurant was very simple and clean with lots of seating. We went a little after lunch time and they still had a decent amount of people dining-in. The staff were extremely friendly where they refilled our waters and fulfilled our requests swiftly. Even when you are seated, you are expected to order off of a tablet. If you spend over $30 in the restaurant, you can get a half-priced boba. Also, if you join their loyalty/rewards program, you can get 5% off your first meal. Not sure how long this deal will last. My sister got the signature braised beef noodle soup, which she enjoyed. The serving portions are pretty big where we both had leftovers. She loved the bok choy and the beef, but she wished that the soup had a bit more flavor to it. The scallion pancakes were perfectly crispy and warm. I loved it so much because it was amazingly delicious. I ordered the marbled beef & tomato soup, which reminded me of hotpot. I loved the soup base because it gave a comfort type of feeling. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was really delicious with my only feedback being that I wish it contained more bok choy and more beef. Adding some ingredients on the web order is possible but at this price I wanted a little more. The garlic sauce for the Cucumber Salad is a little too salty for my taste but still good. This place has been popping up on my Yelp for so long as a recommendation and I'm glad that today I decided to give it a go. My boyfriend and I had heard about this place opening and we decided since it's winter and it's been freezing cold, we could really go for soup. As we entered we were greeted by the woman behind the counter and we sat down with the iPad that had their menu on it. We ordered our food and maybe within 10 mins our food came out. Service was quick and efficient and it was nice because we went in the mid afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. As appetizers we ordered fried pork dumplings and a braised beef scallion pancake. Both were very tender and delicious. We decided to order soup, so we got the Braided Beef noodle soup and the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. All in all the food was very flavorful, cooked perfectly and hit the spot! I recommend giving this place a try and I know I'll definitely be returning soon! Portions on the beef noodle soup were decent, the rice dish was on the small side, but if you're looking for some homey, quick, no frills kind of meal, this is your place. It needed more salt/umami flavor. We ordered to go, but I do wonder if they offer pickled mustard greens when eating in because it definitely was missing that. The pancake with beef was ok. The beef was good, but pancake was a bit under done. The popcorn chicken was okay, too. I prefer the ones from Eatery19, which is more favorable and juicy (less batter). If you like more crunchy batter, this place is more up your alley. They threw in free mango pomelo, which again was just okay. Note that if you eat in, you get free soup dumpling with $30 purchase. Back again. Ordered the usual, mini pork dumplings, spicy wontons and soup dumplings. This time we added a meal, which we chose braised pork rice bowl, beef skewers and passion fruit drink. The beef skewers were tender and flavorful. It was seasoned heavily with cumin, a family favorite. I don't think I've ever had better beef skewers, including those from yakitori. My son liked the braised pork rice bowl over the one at Eatery 19. This $19 meal (rice bowl, skewers and drink) is a better deal than an eggplant Parmesan hero? If there is such a comparison. Not one single dumpling had soup in them, and it didn't seem they broke before they traveled to us bc there was no soup in the container either. Definitely were packed up broken. Nice spacious vibe for family/ couple outings. The noodle soups were great with generous toppings, love that! Their signature beef noodle soup was tender melt in your mouth.
