I work by here, it's my go to lunch spot when I feel like taking a walk instead of driving. Even get breakfast here and its always good. Burgers are great. Pastrami is awesome and their burritos are too good. I've even had their teriyaki and liked it. Everything on their menu is good. I always them a good tip in the jar. OK, I was hesitant to go through the drive-thru. It looks like it could be good or maybe not! But I love surprises and I decided to try it. Strictly speaking of their breakfast burritos... they are the best in town. I enjoy actually eating (and tasting) the bacon, cheese, egg, and potato in proper proportion in my burrito. Sometimes you'll get a whole hell of a lot of potato and egg at other places, but it's so well made and a great size too. Another plus is they have a make-shift drive through if you're too lazy (or it's too cold) to get out of your car. Gotta go back and try some of their lunch soon. read more

They have Pastrami right in their sign so I opted for that. The slices of meat were burned beyond reproach, any chef (line or gourmet) should recognize the color of the meet and pull the order. I would have waited for a better sandwich, and nothing else about it was wrong other than the burned pastrami. Speaking of burned, my fries were a VERY dark brown because of over exposure to heat. In all honesty I cannot claim they were burned but I can claim they were WAY overdone. They needed a lot of salt and ketchup to be edible. These are simple fixes, maybe your fryer and grill are on too high, maybe your chef waits a couple minutes too long to pull the food out of the fire..it is all fixable. This place will die with food prepped like this, it can flourish if changes are made...Mr. Manager, there is my gauntlet! read more

Today was my first visit to Norm's after hearing about the place for so long. The pastrami sandwich was great (tender pastrami with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles). Fries were terrific. Not greasy and crispy. But the cheeseburger was a huge disappointment -- paper thin patty that looked pale white -- with no flavor -- the bun, lettuce, cheese and onion saved the day -- but come on, Norm's, get some sizzle and taste on those burgers. Prices are very good and the service is very efficient too. Nice staff there. Environment is old but that's part of the charm. I won't be rushing to go back, except maybe to try breakfast next time. read more

I go to Norm's for only one thing - the fried zucchini. It may be frozen (I don't know for sure!) but nevertheless its delicious and so is the ranch dressing. If you ask for extra dressing the friendly cook always complies. The onion rings are also tasty. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THE ORDER ISN'T ALWAYS WRIGHT!! My family and I have been going to Norms for a while now because we like the breakfast burritos. However, the SERVICE SUCKS! We tried ordering in by phone to make it go a little quicker but we still waited 25 mins.after we got there. My son and his girl friend went yesterday for 2 burritos. They WAITED FOR 1 FULL HOUR. Other groups came and went. When they complained they were told if would be just a few mins more. For peets sake, it's not rocket science. Two thumbs down, we will never go again. read more

Horrible service!! Called in for a phone order and the lady who answered obviously was far from capable of taking a order over the phone. She had no clue how to write down a take out order and even suggested coming there to give her the order and wait about a hour for my order of SIX breakfast burritos! She refused to take the order the phone and was even okay with saying goodbye and losing about 80 dollars. If you're going to pay someone to work, at least make sure they can properly take down a order. Never will I spend my hard earned money at a establishment like this again. read more

Everyone in Burbank knows this place is good for burgers and breakfast burritos, but tried some other stuff from their breakfast menu for the first time and it was AWESOME. Got pancakes and french toast with fruit. Just as good as the hipster joints in L.A. that sell it for twice as much. TIP: Call beforehand to place your order to avoid the wait. read more

i see many people warn of 1/2 wait. the drive through sucks. when they have 4 people working in the kitchen and only the car up front has their order taken, this spells you just lost me as a customer. install a window to take orders and make them while you are getting up to the window. increase sales by getting more orders out. if you cant cut in an order window, install an intercom system, even a lame intercom system with a menu board over it so people will be ready to order. or if you are too lazy or cheap to do one of those, have someone look out the door every so often. if there is a new car, walk out and take the order. it doesnt take much to make your customers happy and not wait 1/2 hr for a hamburger. and for all you that say, "call ahead" maybe thats why they cant get orders out in a timely fashion. you lost me as a customer...like you really care anyway. read more

This is not part of the "Norms" coffee shop chain- this is totally different. The burger was cooked properly and was moist, the fries were hot and not greasy, the club sandwich was good- the turkey was moist- considering it was probably packaged, and the service was prompt and friendly and the booth we were in was clean. The prices are reasonable for what you get. A nice place to visit if you're passing by. read more

Amazing breakfast burritos, has drive thru and open later than Corner Cottage

Stopped in a couple days ago. Ordered a breakfast burrito, a cheese burger and coffee. Took 12 minutes for them to refill the "help yourself" coffee pot, took 37 minutes to get my food! I have no idea why it took this long to get my food as there were only 3 other customers there. So right off the bat l'm not impressed by this place. The food is finally dropped off at my table, no apologies just complete indifference. Great customer service ethic, eh?! The burrito is pretty big and pretty well stuffed so im thinking that if it tastes as good as it looks then maybe i can give this dive another chance. I get through about half the burrito and realize its ALL potato, like 99%, with about a teaspoon of sausage and cheese thrown in somewhere. But even more unremarkable than the burrito being nothing but a potato is that it had absolutly NO FLAVOR! I mean, unless you consider the taste of air as flavor. How the hell can a chef cook something that big and somehow exclude any and all flavor? Mind boggling! I ended up throwing the rest away. Luckily, i ordered a cheese burger too. It was average. Nothing evenful or terrific. Certainly not good enough to ever step food in this place again. All and all, a let down of a place. You will not regret never eating here. read more

I've had their breakfast burritos before so I knew what to except and they are usually pretty good. A bit too much potatoes for me but still ok. It was the first time using the drive up window and there was only one car ahead of me so i felt pretty lucky and it was really pretty quick too. The only disappointing issue I had was that the burrito was lukewarm like it had been sitting around for awhile. I feel this way cause it was less than 5 minutes from ordering, paying and getting the burrito. It felt like someone's order mistake.
