Two Guys has some of the best garlic knots I've ever had. Boy do those stand out. They also have exceptional fries, and a nice assortment of pasta dishes. It appears the majority of the reviews here on Yelp are older, so I advise that you take that into account. To add: Unfortunately, North End skimps on the cheese, which was disappointing. Moreover, the sausage tasted ok, but the flavor was weak and kind of blaise. As for the tomato sauce it was a little sweet and yet, it held the pie together. But with all their faults the pizza actually comes together and isn't a bad bite. This used to be my favorite place and I am highly disappointed, Grilled cheese taste burnt cheese is not even melted. They made it the lazy way and put the bread in a toaster slap on some cheese and call it a Grilled Cheese sandwich smh, My boyfriend ordered a deluxe bacon cheeseburger which he said a Cheeseburger isn't a cheeseburger if it's not greasy but holy $hit this beyond greasy. I wish I could say he was lying but you could actually see the grease dripping off, the mozzarella sticks used to be really good they came to me like they were reheated and it was gross the french fries were decent. One of the worse pizza's I've ever ordered. The overall taste was mediocre...just tolerable enough so I didn't have to order something else. I don't think there is a full ounce of cheese on the whole pizza. And the onions and peppers that are on it are diced. It looks NOTHING like the pictures that are posted on their site. This place has good pizza but man the wings, so far best we have had short of driving an hour. They have a ton of saues for them, probably to compete with bigger places however I would eat plane wings from this place they are that good. I've been ordering a few times a month for delivery for almost ten years. Food used to be great, service was great. A few mix ups from time to time, but they were always eager to fix the problem. Recently though, things have changed. Food is awful or orders aren't made properly. Delivery takes so long my food always arrives cold. Today, my burger was so salty it was inedible. Love all of the food I have always gotten from there. Tonight was a different story. Not only did I have to wait another 15 mins on top of the 20 mins promised on the phone I had a lot bigger issue. I wanted to try their Philly Cheesesteak, I order it and have a few bites and then notice I have something extra on my sandwich. I had a bug in my sandwich and it was an automatic turn off. First time trying this place, pleasantly surprised. We ordered 50 wings and two large pizzas. Only took about 40 minutes (as promised) to deliver and the guy who brought it to us was super nice! We got the garlic Parmesan wings, there was a lot of sauce so the wings got a little soggy. Flavor was still there though.! We also got the sweet Thai chili wings, flavor and sauce were on point! A little disappointed with the bacon on our pizza. Crust and cheese and everything was good i just think they need to crisp up the bacon more because we had a lot of flabby chewy pieces. I have enjoyed North End for a while now, but we don't get it very much b/c when we want pizza it's simply b/c we're too lazy to cook, so last thing we want is to drive to get dinner too. What a nice surprise to find out that they changed owners and the new owner offers delivery! YAY YAY YAY...and unlike Joe's, they have free delivery...which is great. FYI...they only deliver after 4...and I really hope they change that but for now I'll take it. Their pizza is good, and their grinders are reallllly great! Worst service in all of Torrington. Waited 2 hours for the order to arrive and when it did they sent out the wrong order. When confronted they refused to send another order . Ordered two combination grinders, hot with oil and vinegar and they send cold with mayo. Would have accepted a corrected order but they refused to send it out. Never Again. Well I've been frequently this place for many years now and I've never had a bad meal. This is my wifes favorite pizza place in Torrington for me it's the second or third. North End use to be run by this old man who is something out of a Seinfeld episode mainly comparing him to the Soup Nazi. I've heard stories of him throwing pizzas around and charging more for items then indicated on the menu. that being said whenever I went there I could feel the arrogance in his voice so I only went a few times. Now it's under new ownership and for the better. The pizza there is very good in my opinion, it can be too greasy at times but that's pizza for you. The decor in the place is very outdoors like with the hint of Nascar and beer lovin. I use to work rather close to this place and I would often go in and get the grinders they made about once a week. Used to be a great place however the new owners have packed way to much onto the menu and have gone with a quantity over quality approach. We have tried them 3 times in the last few years the most recent being last week and every time we hope for the old experience of two guys and we end up with a bunch of food in the garbage. I usually stomach it down as we paid for it but in those 3 times my fiance has never eaten more then 2 bites of a meal from them the best way i can put it is microwave dorm room food from the pizza to the wraps and burgers, they recently paired with that krunchy chicken chain so we tried an order of biscuits and fries they didn't send us the fries from the chicken menu which we requested and had read back to us and the biscuits were burnt to the point of in edibility read more

I want to start off by saying the the girl who took our order and the girl who delivered our food were both very very nice. We decided to try this place out bc they deliver to our town(which isn't Torrington) and their menu looked good. We ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza with extra blue cheese on the side, a small cheese pizza with 1/2 ricotta, no sauce and marinara on the side, jalapeño poppers, and a 2liter dr. Pepper. When the food arrived there was no blue cheese(it comes with the buffalo chicken pizza) and no marinara sauce.... Not a huge deal but pretty annoying. They offered to send out the sauces, but we declined bc it took 45mins to get the food( not complaining, we were quoted 45 mins and were ok with that since it was dinner time and we are out of town) and we didn't want to wait another 45mins, we were hungry now. They said they would put a 5% discount in the computer for next time we order. We finished dinner and my husband looked at the receipt and noticed we were charged $13.24 for a small pizza with no sauce on it, but on the side(which it never came with) and 1/2 with ricotta........ That's absurd considering the large buffalo chicken Pizza was $16.95. I had to call back to question the price of the pizza. She was trying to figure out what happened and why I was charged wrong, when I heard a guy in the back getting annoyed and asked her for address of the order. He took the phone from her and asked what the problem was, I explained it and he was trying to figure out what happened too. He finally says she double clicked something by mistake and that's why I got overcharged.... Told me he would give me $5 off my next order. To pay $48 including the tip and not receive sauces and get way overcharged for a small pizza is not my idea of a good experience. You live and you learn. The girl that took our order was obviously new. She struggled getting used to the system. Luckily she had help. We were then given the wrong total. We got 4 of the 5 meals. So I called and 40 minutes later they delivered the missing meal. We ordered dressings for all of our salads and received none of them. Food was a 6 out of 10. If I could give zero stars I would!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Before I even got off the phone the money was taken out of my account. Then they called me over 6 times to get my correct address, which was given correctly over and over again. The delivery guy never shows up, so I call them to cancel my order and to return my money back to my account. Two days later I check my account and see that the money is still out of my account but that they added a tip to the pizza that I never received. So they stole my money and forged my signature. I called and spoke to the manager who was so rude and telling me 3 different stories 1. I received the pizza and even signed and tipped 2. They kept trying to call me and I "didn't" pick up and 3. I didn't give them my right address. Then he even tried to say he would give me credit on my next order. I told him no and Once I told them I have a camera outside of my home and that the guy NEVER came to my house and that I will call the police, he quickly then told me to come the next day to get my money. Delicious flat top pizza made quickly. The X-Large is really big and it was pretty cheap. It's your basic fold pizza with a nice oil from the cheese, not greasy. Savory sauce and not sweet. The service was very friendly and they let us order before they closed. They even offered to let us eat inside, but I would never feel comfortable making people wait when they've closed. Nope, put it in the oven, lettuce should be warm and slimy. Depending on who answers the phone, they may not even understand your order, either. One dude is totally fine, one guy doesn't even seem to know their own menu. Their pita sandwiches are pretty good, I'll give them that... I haven't tried their pizza, personally. Honestly, they're nice guys otherwise, but it just seems like a crapshoot sometimes for half the stuff they offer on the menu. I just had some delivery from here today, and I had to write a review... because every time I see North end two guys listed on yelp, I see the picture of a slightly overcooked pizza someone posted. It happens occasionally at most places, but I have to say: While I still miss south end two guys pizza, this is a close second. Super fast delivery. The pies I've gotten from here have always had the perfect amount of sauce, fresh and generous toppings, and have been cooked just right. The cheese is slightly caramelized, the slices stay together when you pick them up, the dough is flavorful and properly cooked, and best of all: The crust. To me this is the perfect crust (for this style of pizza) Fairly thick but not the slightest bit greasy, and the exact right texture- slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy dead center. We moved to torrington in Feb, we were looking for a great pizza restaurant, so we have tried a few, the first time we ordered was great, except the long wait. So we returned, that order was totally wrong, 3 items, a pizza and 2 dinner, still we gave it a shot, the 3rd time, they sent our order out with another customer, so I guess they lucked out, no discount, and we waited a additional 45. Mins.. so we started looking for a new location, anyway there was a late night and my husband placed our order, he called them and asked for delivery, surprisingly they were quick, but after opening the pasta dishes, the orders were wrong, and the plastic lids had melted into the food.. making it impossible to eat, so I call, and the owner apologizes and said next order I'll take care of you!! So we ordered a week later, and same owner says yeah I'll give u 15% off, what!!! I spent well over 20$ and had to throw it away, and your offering 15%.. so to keep it simple and cheap we ordered 2 grinders, how in the hell does a ham and Turkey grinder cost 25% with a 15% discount??? Food was again gross.. also I noticed the garlic butter sauce which we loved, is in a bowl on top of the pizza oven, flies all around it, and I saw a guy toss shrimp in the bowl, um hello people have allergies, and thats cross contamination!! read more

We have been ordering for along time now and we always order grinders with everything on them and they always come out to be $15.89. Yesterday they overcharged us and the bill was $26.52. After a while we looked at the bill and noticed the mistake they made and my boyfriend went in the restaurant today and spoke to a guy who said he was the manager. and said his name was Jason Tomas. Not only was he very rude he only wanted to give us 5.00 for overcharging and he should of given us $10,62 for the mistake. After arguing with my boyfriend he ended up finally giving my boyfriend $8.00. We were good customers and also ordered pizza a lot also which was burnt a lot and I told them to easy cook on them. The pizza is mediocre. The hotdogs are burnt. The burgers are absolutely disgusting, burnt, and dry. Cheese fries are more like a brick of cheese with some insanely greasy fries.
