I did have a slightly disappointing experience last Friday and my cheesy bread was a bit overcooked and burnt. However after bringing up this issue, I had a great response from management and they were happy to remedy the issue. The management here is positive and they're quick to respond to any issues. I actually just got back from my 2nd trip to Sarpino's in the last couple of weeks. My first trip was a very pleasant experience! I walked in, ordered a personal pizza on my lunch break, and got it within 10 minutes. Very pleasant. Today, I walked in and ordered another personal pizza, and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. OK. I was good with that. So I grabbed a seat and waited. After about 10 minutes, a whole bunch of personal pizzas were put on the outbound rack. An employee looked at it, then walked away. So I figued that they were for delivery. About 5 minutes later, a woman who had ordered after me walked in asking about her own take-out pizzas, and it turns out that my order was in the stack of pizzas that the other employees were just walking by and ignoring. So I'm back at my office doing my best to enjoy my now-lukewarm pizza. Basic customer service would have resulted in a 3-4 star review. *Update: the lukewarm pizza was not good but ok, but the cold marinara on the side is disgusting. I recommend "create your own" hot sandwich on their fresh focaccia bread. I have had their Pizzas too and it is always good! I love that I can order online and they will text me when its ready. Today I ordered a beef sandwich through grub hub. I was almost done with half of the sandwich when I noticed the bread was partially green. I turned over the entire other half of the sandwich and it was filled with mold. I immediately called the restaurant to complain, and I told the person who answered the situation and she kept insisting that it was green peppers, not mold. I repeatedly told her that the bread is green and white and moldy, and she kept saying their bread is not moldy. I asked for a refund, and she said all she can do is offer me a free item my next visit. I said I do not plan on eating there again, so this will not help, but she said that was all she can do. We are pretty patient at this whole delivery thing--but after 3-4 times of ordering delivery from here, I felt that I needed to forwarn those that order delivery from Sarpinos. If you want pizza to show up on time and you have guests awaiting for food, do not order from Sarpinos. I have never had my food on time from them. They say on the phone it will take 30-45 minutes, but in reality, we have always had it after the one hour mark, and today it took them more than a hour and a half. My home is a seven minute drive from the northbrook location (the driver mentioned that), but it takes them forever to deliver our 2-3 pizza order. It's not a large order, it's not far from downtown Northbook, so what excuses can they have every time? I would pick it up myself, but as a mother hosting other mothers and small children, we thought delivery would be convenient for all of us. I had a three strikes you are out rule, but we had a fourth try mercy run today and they ended up being 45 minutes late after their promised 45 minute mark. Only did we ask to cancel did the delivery occur. Everytime this happens, they offer a discount off next time you order. That does not make up for hungry guests leaving for naptime, ten hungry kids left whining and mothers trying to figure something out for almost an hour. It is not acceptable, we have never received an apology (the delivery person has always said it's not his fault), and we are now done. Sarpinos, be careful which order you would like to focus on and expedite, as now there are more than fifteen mothers (from just today, not to mention the first three similar experiences) that are never ordering from Sarpinos. By far the best customer service in the area. Although this is a franchise, I feel a distinct difference between Sarpinos and Dominos! It's refreshing to see a business that values their customers, as well as delivers quality and taste at a low cost. The delivery guys are always pleasant and professional. I am not really a pizza person, but I love this place. The stuff is super friendly and nice. Whenever I decide to get something it takes me a while to chose what I want (I just want everything), they always answer all my questions and will give some suggestions. Also they have nice range of food on menu to choose from. I can't think of any other place that is open that late in our area, so big plus to Sarpino's here. My favorite pizza called Florentina, it blows my mind. I don't understand why people have all this bad reviews;(. I have spent over a year working at Lou Malnatis and know quite well that it is the best pizza out there, but if you aren't in the mood to wait an hour or pay $30, you would order from a place like Sarpinos. Yea I've had them all dominos, papa johns, and any other regular pizza chain in Illinois, but sarpinos is cheap, tastes great, and FAST. Sarpinos has delicious and wonderful pizza and I have always been pleased with this location. I ordered Sarpinos this year for my father who was home alone on Valentines Day, as me, my mother, and sister were all out of town on business. Not only did they make the pizza into a heart-shape (not something they would normally do for valentines day, I believe) they wrote a wonderful message on the box. The worst location ever! Since I switched from the Morton grove location to this location I have had nothing but issues. Today I placed an order at 1:56pm for 4:45pm delivery not only the order didn't show up at all but received a call at 6:40pm to let me know that order isn't being delivered! I don't understand what went wrong snow or not I gave them more than 2hrs window for delivery. Worst customer service ever and I will make sure to go back to Morton grove location!!!
