Was very curious how the food was. Ordered scallion pancakes, mapo tofu, Chonqing spicy chicken, a bowl of rice and for dessert sesame seed balls. The Pros: atmosphere is lively, servers and service are quick and friendly. The mapo tofu and Chonqing chicken were spicy and well seasoned. The sesame balls (6 per order) were wonderfully light and perfectly sweet! The Cons: The management needs to offer hot drinks like tea for those of us who expect it in a Chinese establishment. This is the first place I have been to that does not offer hot tea! I literally had to go next door to Hmart to buy some hot tea. The scallion pancakes were tasteless and oily. On the whole, it is a good eating establishment with reasonable price and is open late. It offers various grilled meat and seafood for late night snacking too. PS: if you are going to charge extra for white rice, it should be hot and fresh, not the cold glom I was served. read more

Racist! I came here on a double date with one of my friends being brown. Once we were seated it was very clear that we weren't being treated with respect. We had to ask multiple times for servers to help us with many ignoring us. The servers would avoid eye contact and when they did finally help there was a lot of attitude. Finally, when our food arrived, my friend was the only one to not get his. We waited for another 10 minutes and watched a table that arrived after us get their food before he finally received his (he ordered a chicken noodle soup). Overall experience was upsetting and very discriminating. read more

The restaurant gives off a very good/ kind of chill vibe. The bright light brings an inviting feeling. Service was prompt and kind of newish. They feel like they are still learning the ropes but they have good heart. Now onto the food, i had the dinner skewer menu which starts at 5pm and runs till close. It is pretty pricy but delicious in my opinion. The oyster were pretty small but they were a good flavor and the lamb skewers had a robust flavor. Overall it was a good experience and will be coming back to see if it keeps up. read more

Really glad this place was open on 4th of July. Service was great nice atmosphere. The first thing I notice was that there were floaters in their drinking water. I asked for a new jug of water. We ordered skewers, clams and oysters. Food tasted decent but a bit on the salty side. Portion does not compliment their price. The skewers barely had any meat on them for $12.99+ same with other dishes. Hotpot was so so. I probably won't repeat. It's a good place to hang out at night though. read more

I came on a Tuesday. We ordered the spicy beef pot, green beans, and the Yangzhou fried rice. I typically go to the UTC location since it is near my house. I always order these three dishes at the UTC location and have always enjoyed it. However, this Westpark location, I ordered the same three dishes. Everything was very salty compared to the UTC location. I might stick with the UTC location but I will give the Westpark location another shot in the future. read more

Grabbed lunch with my daughter here the other day and we were not disappointed! This location is more low key and chill friendly than the UTC spot and the staff is really nice, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was excellent! Eggplant done to perfection, Beef Roll was fresh and bursting with asian jazz flavors. Couldn't stop there as we were trying it for the first time, so we had the steamed pork dumpling and pork, shrimp and chive dumplings as well. They even cook the dumpling how you want, and ours were pan fried. I will definitely be back to this nice family friendly and delicious spot. read more

The skin of their XLB is thicker than Din Tai Fungs but much easier to obtain and costs less in general We really like their cold appetizers that you select at the counter. The seaweed and Black Fungus flavors were done well and the beef cold dish is good as well. I'd go there again in a pinch but still prefer Din Tai Fung if given the choice. read more
