    Service waiting area.
    Steve G.

I mainly use this dealership for service as it is nearest to my house, and in that regard they are good. Good waiting area and the occasional coupon for oil changes keep me coming back. There is the expected "up sell" conversations, but they are usually aimed at items that make sense. Yes, I know.... Can get a lot of this done elsewhere for less, but not a lot less and I feel better knowing Honda people are working on my Honda....

ID RATE 0 IF I COULD. I went here to look at a preowned car on the 11th of September and it was one of the worst experiences at a dealership I've ever experienced. The salesman JUSTIN was very unprofessional and insulted my fiancé and I. This terrible experience started as soon as we arrived to the dealership, we step out of our car and Justin immediately begins to ask to purchase our car that we were not even considering trading in, asking how much it would cost to get you out of that car. Whether a joke or not this is not how you greet a potential customer. Next, we sit down at his desk while he pulls up the car that we requested to look at and immediately BEFORE even looking at the car he starts demanding from my fiancé how much she wants to put down, what car payment she's looking for and is very pushy trying to get here to answer before evening seeing if this is the car for her! Once seeing the car we get a cost breakdown to see where we're at and were unsatisfied with the dealer add ons and were getting ready to leave when he mentions that if we find another deal that is comparable to his car that he'll beat the deal by at least $500 verbatim. So we go see another Honda that was similar and we did not expect him to match our deal as stated but we were surprised when he insulted us saying if we can't afford a car at 26k then we can't afford a car at 22k. This was extremely unprofessional I did not ask for his opinion on finances. I will attach screenshot conversations that show the rude employee that Northside Honda employs.

    16% dealer markup
    Nick B.

I stopped by yesterday to test drive a car. We noticed that the online MRSP price was different than the sticker price. No one in hell can tint, interior cleaning kit, nitrogen filled tires, and other nonsense could justify the 16% markup. Play games and win stupid prizes. We went to Fernandez Honda, purchased and drove home with the exact car in less than one hour.

Came to get numbers on a car and they won't even give me that because it's corporate policy. Can't even get numbers on more than 2 cars.

This place is run by crooks and liars. Don't come here, you're better off buying a car on OfferUp. So many unnecessary fees.

While Ms. Chanti was assisting me, she noticed there was a recall on my vehicle related to an issue I had already experienced before the recall was officially posted. She took the time to explain how I could contact Honda and possibly be reimbursed for the repair -- which was a significant amount and greatly appreciated. She also informed me about an updated part that needed to be installed, and the team completed that while finishing my routine maintenance. In a short amount of time, everything was completed and my vehicle was fully updated. I was extremely impressed with everyone's professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. The free coffee, comfortable waiting area, and outdoor seating were also a nice touch. The team at Gunn Honda is outstanding, and I always look forward to having a positive experience there. Special thanks to Ms. Chanti for truly going above and beyond for the customers.

There were a couple of bumps in the process that I consider typical when purchasing a car at a traditional dealership. I initially set my appointment up with Francisco Berrios. After learning that I was interested in looking at pre-owned cars, he turned me over to Zach Drysdale, who was more familiar with the pre-owned inventory. Zach was the salesman who handled the primary points of the sales process. He did a good job of listening to the features that I was looking for in my purchase and helped guide me to some of their options including some special incentives on new cars that he thought I should consider. I still leaned toward pre-owned. The dealership had given me a nice, competitive offer on my used Camry and I had a specific price point in mind that I communicated. I was primarily interested in staying with a Camry model, but was interested in looking at a hybrid model. I was somewhat hesitant, but Zach was able to give me some data and personal testimony that eased my mind. After test-driving a couple of cars we sat down to discuss the price. I made an offer and, as is typical, he went to get an okay. We had settled on an amount, but Zach said that the offer could be applied to a different car than the one that I drove, although it was the same year and model, and seemed to be almost identical except for the color. I never did understand why the deal worked with that car instead of the car that I had driven. It didn't appear to be significantly different in any aspect and I actually liked the color better. Zach didn't seem to know of any other feature differences either. But this and the next steps were a bit confusing and could have made me step away from the deal. Part of the issue was due to my schedule. I had to put the deal on hold because I had a commitment, and I explained that I would be able to come back the following day. Francisco had returned and another gentleman who I assume was an upper manager who gives the final okay in settling on the deal came to speak to me. He made an offer $100 above what I had tentatively signed for-- and thought the deal was for. This was quite confusing because I had thought the price had already been established. He put a little pressure on me to stay and finish the deal. I explained clearly that I was simply out of time and could not finish the process that afternoon. So, I left and Francisco assured me that the car would still be there for me when I came back the next day. When I came back the next day, the price was indeed a little more than I had signed for, but as I said up front, I felt like it was still a good deal. It was a 2026 pre-owned car, with a pre-owned price, with only around 30 miles on it. I had seen '24 and '25 Camry hybrids at other lots that had a couple of thousand miles on them for about the same price. So even though there were some negative points in the process, I felt like the deal was competitive and I'm very happy with the car that I purchased so far. As long as it doesn't give me problems, I'll be happy with it for a long time, but that's why I usually buy Toyotas. Zach and Francisco were good to deal with, but as I say, Zach was my primary salesperson for most of the process. By the way, the financial officer who took me through the paperwork process, Ricky Rodriguez, was a delight to work with.

Terrible Experience - They Talked Themselves Out of a $68,000 Sale…read moreI walked into this dealership ready to buy and had a pristine 2020 Nissan Rogue to trade in. Unfortunately, the sales team completely blew the deal. They refused to offer anything more than the absolute cash value on my trade-in. I understand dealerships need to make money on trades, but I don't need a lecture about it. My job was to bring them a quality vehicle; their job was to figure out how to make a profit. I was willing to move forward, but their rigid "take it or leave it" stance made it clear I was better off walking. When I told the salesman I was leaving, he literally said, "Go ahead and walk away." So I did. I got in my Rogue and left without looking back. Later that evening around 7 PM, the salesman texted me asking if I had ended up buying a car yet. The very next day, I went to another dealership. They immediately offered me $13,000 on the trade (significantly more than what was offered here), knocked $1,500 off the price, and didn't push any dealer add-ons. I drove away happy in my new vehicle on May 1st with zero hassle. This dealership single-handedly lost a $68,000 sale because they wouldn't budge even slightly on the trade-in. If you're trading in a vehicle and expect fair value, look elsewhere. Very disappointed. They did turn the super loud music down. It was bothering me very badly by the time I came back in to talk to the guys so that was a plus at least they thought about me for a little bit then, as soon as I start walking away, the music got turned right back up, so that was kind of disrespectful.

Instead, we left without buying anything due to our experience with the salesperson, M. I've never encountered a salesperson who was so focused on talking about herself rather than listening to the customer. Instead of asking questions about our needs, budget, or preferences, the conversation repeatedly shifted to her personal life. We heard extensive details about her relationship, children, marital status, and even stories about purchasing two vehicles in one day to "work around" the banking system. None of this was relevant to our vehicle purchase. What was most frustrating was that she seemed more interested in convincing us to make the same choices she had made rather than understanding what was important to us. When we expressed preferences that differed from hers, she appeared visibly frustrated and dismissive. It felt less like a professional sales consultation and more like a one-sided conversation centered entirely on her. The disappointing part is that I was approved for the vehicle and fully capable of completing the purchase. However, the lack of professionalism, poor listening skills, and uncomfortable sales approach completely changed our minds. Buying a vehicle is a major decision, and customers deserve to feel heard, respected, and valued. We left genuinely surprised that a dealership would allow this type of customer interaction. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we will not be returning and will be taking our business elsewhere.
