I will copy the review I wrote about ABC, which lead me to hiring Hero Air in the first place to give you the full picture: Update: ABC did show up at 8pm the following night and proceeded to quote me $1,363 to replace some components and $475 to deep clean the condenser coil. I was paying for their VIP service and that is the quote I got. I said no way since I trust them zero. Got Hero Air, who get amazing reviews on Yelp to come out and were there within 2 hours. Turns out I needed a new thermostat, which all in for diagnosing, running out to get the thermostat, and installing for $407. He also recommended a deep cleaning and charged me $150, so for $557 instead of $1,833 which wouldn't have even fixed the problem I am up and running 4 hours after requesting an appointment. So when I said above they hope idiots will let them get away with charging triple, I was not exaggerating. ABC deserves to go out of business. It seems like with their AI reservation system and "fluid" scheduling they probably go bought out by private equity and it seems like they are running themselves into the ground. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!

They were very efficient and worked well together. We are very happy with them working for HVAC Professor. We recommend them highly! Thank you so much for your hard work Angel and Juan!

DO NOT HIRE. If I could give zero stars, I would. I originally hired Duct Professor to fix my home…read moreAC, and they ended up charging me over $1,300 for six incredibly frustrating visits, a string of misdiagnoses, and unauthorized repairs. The first two technicians they sent spent hours troubleshooting but completely failed to find the issue. Instead of properly diagnosing the system, they installed a non-OEM control board without my knowledge or consent. This unauthorized part risked causing further damage to my electrical system through power fluctuations. When that didn't fix the AC, they guessed the AC contactor was the problem and replaced it twice to no avail. It wasn't until the sixth visit that a senior tech finally came out and identified the actual root cause: a damaged low-voltage power line leading from the AC to the house. This is a fundamental issue that should have been caught on day one. Dealing with a broken AC in the middle of summer is hard enough, but enduring a dragged-out, six-visit ordeal with a newborn baby in the house made their incompetence a complete nightmare. Ultimately, because they left my system compromised, I had to hire an entirely different, independent HVAC company to actually fix the problem. To make matters worse, I sent a detailed email to Duct Professor management outlining these failures and requesting a refund for the misdiagnoses and unauthorized parts. They completely ignored me. No follow-up, no apology, no attempt to make it right. Save your money, your time, and your sanity--look elsewhere.

We tend to see the same technicians year after year, which tells me they are a good company to work for in addition to having great service. The initial installation needed major rebuilding and corrections. Given the scope of the rebuild, I missed that the condenser unit was not placed properly in the wall, it is causing ongoing issues. Initially there were metal fragments on top of the condenser that went to the outside. Glad that I had a ladder to get on top of it and clean it off, before the metal fragments became airborne. The "free" vent cleaning caused dust to blow all over my condo unit. Not good when you have lung disease. I ended up cleaning dust that had been trapped in the vents. The tech didn't bring a shop vacuum to take care of. the job. They used a machine that flapped a rag around in my vents. I was concerned that the vents would be torn up. The motor itself is very loud and I still haven't gotten used to it. The contactor slams in and start up is a continual disturbance. Noted too that there are no insulators around the main electrical breaker. Decided to pass on the "free warranty." The associated service calls required to maintain the warranty were not "free." Very disappointed how the project turned out. It was stressful, expensive and subpar.

These guys are scammers,…read morethey will overcharge for their diagnostic visit and they will tell you that your furnace needs costly repairs when it does not. I recently called them to look at my furnace because it was not kicking on. The tech walked in and said immediately, "I know by the sound what the problem is". He took off the cover of the furnace, checked it out and told me that my inducer motor was broken and that I needed a new one. He wrote up my "diagnostic" charges, totaling $137.00 and tried to get me to schedule the motor replacement for the next day, at a charge of $675. He was at my house a total of 10 minutes. After he left, I looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged a $90 diagnostic fee for the first 15 minutes, $35 for an additional 15 minutes of labor, and $10 for parking. Again, he was only here for 10 minutes. That was all bad enough and a total scam, but whatever, not a huge dollar amount. I did some research and decided to get a second opinion on the inducer motor. I hired Siberia Appliance Repair (I would highly recommend), and Val came out to look at my furnace. I learned that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my furnace and NOTHING wrong with my inducer motor. It simply needed to be manually spun ONCE after sitting all summer. Perfect Temperature Control are liars, scammers and thieves. If you want a Company to waste your time and steal your money, you should hire them.
