I called in a panic, and to my surprise, they showed up with no notice and got straight to work. The technician was professional, kind, and clearly experienced. He explained what went wrong, fixed the issue efficiently, and made sure the system was cooling before he left. I would not recommend this company. My roommate coordinated a maintenance appointment on our apartment's furnace and the rep was very pushy about securing her commitment to replace the furnace, when she let him know we needed to confirm with our landlord first. Our landlord ended up going with another company due to cost and upon notifying the rep, he was extremely rude on the phone - our uber driver could even hear him yelling on the phone. Our landlord had us reach back out to this guy so he could return the furnace parts that he initially took during the appointment. He said sure and we set up a time to meet him at our apartment once we were both home from work (neither of us were comfortable being alone with him after the incident on the phone). He wanted to come sooner but we told him that was the time we would be home from work so we couldn't meet earlier. Strangely and all too coincidentally, our top floor apartment was broken into and burglarized when we arrived back at home. We didn't hear anything from this company as we waited for someone to show up with the parts, and upon calling him he acted very suspicious and did not give us a good reason for him not showing up. to this day we can't know if this company was responsible, but all direct interaction with this company was ridiculous outside of the burglary incident. read more

Came to fix a simple problem, changed the wrong parts. When the real issue was finally found, he hacked it. Then charged me $300 dollars. $200 for labor and a $100 for parts that didn't need to be changed and that also cost $20. I did get ripped off, Never again. read more

after doing my due diligence as I do with everything, I decided to go with David Brothers Heating and Cooling Incorporated. I use them for my central air unit about 15 years ago in a previous home and he did a wonderful, wonderful job and never had any problems with it after that. I moved a couple of times after that and misplaced the number and called a friend of mine who still have their number and they came out and fix my furnace. After four season was here a couple of days prior who wanted to charge me an arm, a leg, a torso, including my head they're overpriced for season is over price. This is a company that will charge you at least 2 times more than the fair amount to fix something. They charged us $835 to fix a water tank. Yes not to replace the whole tank but to replace a broken piece of the tank.! I paid less than that to replace a water tank before with the cost of a brand new tank included. When we asked for a whole tank replacement cost, the quote was close to $2000. Save your money and call others. This company is a big rip-off.! read more

My central a/c unit turned on but the fan wouldn't turn on. This was quickly diagnosed by Dan as simply due to a broken wire. It was properly taped and secured in just a few minutes. Dan cleaned the a/c unit and made some recommendations on basic maintenance. He also checked our furnace and water heater for any problems. We only paid the basic service fee of $119. read more

The only reason my fiancé called these guys was because our water heater brand had them listed as a repair company in our area, so we thought it'd be covered under our warranty. First off, these guys show up 4 hours late. But whatever, I can get over that. They go through the motions, diagnose the problem, and temporarily solve it. Great. Well our problem was water leaking- long story. So, they had to drain the water. One of the maintenance guys comes down from the attic and asks to dump the bucket of water down our toilet. My fiancé isn't home and I don't know much about that stuff so I agree to let him. I hear him flush and he's in there for a bit but I think nothing of it. He closes the door behind him when he leaves. Fast forward to when the water heater is repaired. The OTHER maintence guy comes downstairs goes right to the guest bathroom, comes out a few minutes later and asks if we have a plunger. Um ok? Yes. I give him the plunger and he is in the bathroom for about 7 minutes. He comes out and tells me we need a plumber, our toilet is flushing slow. WELL, fast forward a week....we end up needing to call a plumber and $400 later they find the attachment of a shop vac stuck in the toilet!!!!! They had flushed that attachment down and never told me! Jerks. read more

I've used them three times now and I've been very happy. This year I needed an entire new AC for my condo unit, which is a big, expensive job. I called four places and everyone told me it'd be 3-5 days before they could get to me, and I'd pay $3,400. David Bros came out the next day, did the whole job in one day, and only charged me $2,800. I called David Brothers after calling Four Seasons .I needed to replace the element in an electric furnace . I have had several HVAC workers to come and inform me that I needed the element but none was willing to do the work , and it did require some work because the furnace is located in the ceiling,Don of David Brothers ask did I want it fixed and he fixed it .Thank you Don. Four Seasons came and the first thing out of his mouth was was a lie because I ask him what the model number and serial number was and he gave me the model number and told he didn't SEE a serial number Then tell me the furnace is "from the 1970's and I don't know why it's still working" I knew right then I wasn't gonna let them do any work for me.not to mention that outlandish price ...Thanks Don for the great work,and also for your recommendation on how to improve heating my unit. This HVAC company is such a terrific group, from customer service to workmanship to price. They quickly installed heating systems both in my home and office and I couldn't be happier with the results. Don really takes the extra time to explain everything the customer needs to do to maintain the unit properly and avoid repairs. Terrible customer service...called on a 90 degree day and they said my AC was fixed, paid $200 and 2 hrs later there was still no cold air blowing, called back and they said they would "dedicate the next morning" to my problem...never showed up and didnt even call to say they would be late...paid $200 for nothing and by them not showing up, I had to call a different company and therefore have another day without AC...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...... read more
