I was paying the Blonde hair busty,heavy set bartender who had previously been rude and brushed off my table and when I payed her she asked that since I'm a waitress I know how it works. At first I wasn't able to find the location since Yelp has it further up Main St. but a quick call and they were able to point me to exactly where they are located. Once I got there the atmosphere was awesome with three large screens playing sports, the locals hanging out and having a good time, the bar decor was great giving it their own identity especially the one sign saying not to be frightened by the locals which gave me a chuckle. I approached the bar and put in my order with the bartender who was nothing short of friendly and very helpful. We order the White Crown pizza, 6 wings for me and a Greek Salad for my wife to go with the pizza. The White Crown was absolutely delicious my family devoured this pizza to include three very picky children. This was a huge dinner win! The wings were delicious and huge so my selection of 6 was just right and the Thai Chili flavor was fantastic! The Greek Salad was very good my wife didn't care for it much but that was my fault as she originally wanted a Caesar Salad and I messed up when ordering it so I ate it and it was superb. I would definitely get that salad again but in a smaller size, it was enough to feed two. Heard great things about this place. Ordered a pizza (even though we were told a 1 hour wait). After an 1.5 hours we called multiple times to check the status and were told "it left 20 min ago and should be there any minute." That continued for another 2 hours until we gave up hope. The pizza never arrived, nobody tried to fix it or make it right, not a single call back and they still tried to charge me for the pizza. HOLY WOW -you have it to be kidding. This place deserves the lowest score of any restaurant or business that I have ever dealt with in my life. They took our money and kept telling us our pizza was on its way for 2.5 hrs. Meanwhile my kids starved. We called this place at least 5-6 times and every time they said our driver should be there in 20, or he left awhile ago and will be there any second. Ordered at approximately 6pm, called after an hour and a half, 2 hours, and so on until 9:45 pm. Kept asking them to check on my order and they kept assuring me that it was on the way (employees being rude tho). At 9:45 the employee picked up the phone and hung up on me immediately. I called back asking why he hung up on me and he finally decided to actually check on the order and realized it had never been made and said it was too late to make it and he would refund me. I asked why he couldn't have checked 2 hours ago when I called for the second time and told him it was unorganized and he told me to "f*** off" and hung up on me again. Said he would refund initially but after telling me to F off I received an email it was out for delivery, which it wasn't he's just trying to not give me the refund. Eaten here before good food but have never experienced such poor customer service and rudeness. Really hope the guy on the phone is the manager cause wow this place will go to the ground with his leadership. This time around the bartenders were not so great. My family and I came in on a Sunday hoping it wouldn't be that busy but it was busy because of spring break I guess. When I went to order my wife and I a beer the bartender was really rude when I asked her questions on the beer selection. She poured our beers after I was rushed and took what cash I gave her and I noticed out of the corner of my that she put my money in the tip jar. I tipped her on top of what the beer cost so she got a really good tip off of two beers by putting all the money in the tip jar. Are usually don't like giving these kind of reviews but I feel like the managers or owners should know. When I went up to place our food order the two brunette bartenders were doing a shot and completely ignoring me for 5 minutes and there was nobody in line. The taller bartender even looked at me and then went in the back , while the shorter one just laughed with other customers at the bar why I continued to be ignored. We ordered the Mango habanero wings, agave lime wings and the boneyard pizza. The food was absolutely amazing! And the guy running our food was really nice when we asked for more marinara sauce. I highly recommend this place but I hope when my family and I return that these bartenders are gone or fired. I gave 4 stars for the food! I had heard a lot about Northside so I finally decided to try them out. I was up for a challenge and ordered the double black diamond wings to go. These wings taste really good and are insanely hot. I was sweating, shaking, my eyes were watering and my nose was running while I was eating these wings. The prices are very reasonable. I got 10 wings and it came out to maybe $7 and some change, a very good price for that many wings compared to other restaurants that also offer wings. After a miserable 3+ hours sitting in Labor Day traffic last Friday night, we stopped in here to get beers and a snack and at first felt a little out of place. Those in the small bar were obviously regulars, and it took us a bit to get or orders in at the bar (no table service, though that doesn't bother me at all) even though there were fewer than 10 people total. They have a small but great beer list and I couldn't believe they had Prost's altbier ale, which we both ordered. Drafts were $1 off during HH (4-6pm and again at 9pm). I think PBRs are just a buck. Apps were also 2 for 1 so we shared chicken fingers, fries and mozzarella sticks with marinara. It was decent bar food (the fries were especially delicious) and I was happy about the numerous large flatscreens because there was a great, close late-night tennis match being played at the US Open and they had it on (in addition to normal sports, haha)! They appear to be known for their pizza so I'll try some on my next visit. Slices are $1 off during HH but I couldn't tell from the menu what types of slices were available or if you could order any type from their menu. Worth investigating, but I was just too full already. Met some friends there after riding to watch some football. It is convenient, right off the Gondola. The small converted Victorian was packed with stony 20-somethings--not that I mind--but I did have to crawl over them and their gear to get to the water. Service was shotty. They do not serve tables, so I could have waited all night had my friends not filled me in. It took the two bartenders, who busy chatting to each other, at least 10 minutes to notice me doing jumping jacks to get their attention. We seemed to have sat at their least favorite end of the bar, as they rarely came by or glanced my way. The brushetta was pretty tasty. The Red Rocks (fried dough and marinara) was yummy--how can you beat fried dough??? It came out so long after our first order, I wondered if they forgot, and nobody was around to ask. You walk in to a basic dining room and bar, seat yourself where you like, order with the bartender when you are ready, get your own drinks at the fountain machine and wait for your delicious pie to come out.
