Of course it broke during the coldest parts of our trips, but fortunately, we found Travis at Advance Diesel Service. This guy is by far the best customer service rep for his industry I've ever met! Though he didn't have the very specific part that we needed, he helped us "MacGyver" together a few pieces so that our heater was finally working again! He refused to charge us anything, and even allowed us to hang out in his parking lot all day while we tried a few different options until we found one that worked! Bonus points to Travis because he also has the most adorable gray pup that plays with you while your husband and Travis figure out how to fix the heater. But seriously -- this guy was top notch, so friendly, and we can't recommend him enough!

Instead of helping the man out he was told to go back outside grab his license plate number and his old windshield wipers. When the man asked for help getting the wipers off he was told it was easy to do it. Easily one of the other two employees could have helped him. Instead I helped him get the wipers off and get the new ones on. Horrible customer service!

A battery I bought there failed on me. I brought it back, it tested bad. They assured me it was covered under warranty. They pulled my history, and easily found every part I had bought there, except the battery. It was their brand, had the date stamped on the top, I even remembered the name and description of the guy who sold it to me. All I got was a sorry, and a "can you pull a bank statement to prove you bought it here?". A bank statement? F**k off. Did I mention it happened to be the most expensive battery they sold? Now when I need parts, I have one less place I have to call when looking.

From the minute he picked up the phone I could tell this would not go down very well. Instead of addressing the customer first, the first thing I heard was him yelling about how the system went down. And how he wasn't printing anything because his computer does not print. That was certainly not expected. Being that I did some research on my product, I already had looked up the specs, knew the pricing, and new the part number. The only thing I had asked was if the part was on hand in their shop or if any of the other Anchorage Napa's had the part. He proclaimed it was hard to do with their systems being down that he will put me on hold to ask. Well he did keep me on hold. A few minutes later Lee enthusiastically picked up asking if I was being taken care of. I told him that Stacey was asking someone about a part and Lee quickly took charge. He also noted that the system was down, but said he could still check in another way so he then placed me hold. Just a few seconds later, Stacey came on again and said it would take 20 minutes because he couldn't do anything with the system being down. I said that was fine, Lee was also looking. All Stacey said was okay, and hung up on me. Really though? There is never a reason to be unhelpful, inattentive or rude to a customer. Especially one who (I think) is pretty pleasant and understanding. Thankfully, Lee still had me on hold. He let me know that the 5th Avenue location did not have the part on hand, however Dowling and Spenard did! And while my part was only requested my manufacturer, that they did have a Napa brand, with a 3 year warranty. He also let me know that there was a "bucket sale" going on. You buy a bucket for $2.99 and anything you can put in the bucket ends up being 20% off. Doing the math, bucket included, I end up saving an extra $30ish. Hell I'll search for anyway really to make a sale. Lee went above and beyond - between being super curious on the phone, searching for my part, finding a similar yet still compatible part for my needs, and also saving me money! I really could not thank him enough for being so helpful, and certainly let him know how much Stacey sucked. He joked that he hears that a lot. That's truly unfortunate.If I were to base my experience solely on Lee's poor service over the phone and Lee did not pick up, I would certainly take my business elsewhere. Lee, if I could I would give you all the stars on this review. But in general, I've certainly experienced better treatment at Auto Zone, O'Rielly's and half the time, at Walmart.

Got home and it was the wrong belt. So I went back to return... had to wait five minutes for the managers approval. Then they got the correct belt, and had to call the manager back to approve THAT purchase. And then the manager, the guy with tribal tattoo sleeves, seemed really annoyed WITH ME that he kept getting interrupted. This place is pretty close to where I live, but despite the convenience of the location, I won't ever go back to this place.
