I LOVE Nothing Bundt Cakes cakes. Look, the first time I had one I was a bit skeptical because there's not a TON of frosting. I'm a frosting girl. I live for it, and while I always make homemade frosting for cakes, I occasionally pick up cans of frosting from the grocery store to eat right out of the container (especially Rainbow Chip, OMG). I will always finish frosting, while sometimes I'll leave a little bit of cake on my plate. But the cakes are the star here, and they're so good that their frosting to cake ratio is perfect. Perfectly moist. Yeah, I said moist. I've tried a lot of the flavors - Lemon, White Choc Raspberry, Cinnamon Swirl, Red Velvet, Marble...I had a Turtle one too years ago but I'm not sure if they still have it. My husband and I have always discussed that should we ever decide to open a Bundt cake shop we would name it "Beavis and Bundt-head" -But that is purely aside the point. Nothing Bundt cakes is really going out on a limb here.... They've narrowed their baked goods to literally just bundt cakes, but they do it oh-so well. This location is fairly small near the Lennox town center shopping area off of Olentangy. It contained some small random gift merchandise you could accompany your newly obtained bundt cake, but maybe you're just selfish and don't believe in buying anyone something good and sugary and wholesome. The cakes are definitely wholesome--They're extremely rich in taste. I picked up the White chocolate Raspberry which is almost as pure as heaven, I could barely finish my smaller bundt cake. Another thing, these come in different size, and they have quirky names for them. They create these tiny little bite sized ones, but sadly, they're only available in orders of 12. I can't commit to that much goodness. They also make these for occasions with adorable little items you can adorn the cake with. Definitely different.... slightly charming. The cakes here are moist, (moist, moist, moist.. eat my dirt-- word weirdos) gooey, sugary and satisfying. If you haven't tried any of their contraptions, I'd recommend it. They're not really organic, or good for the earth, or anything like that, but if you are just having one of those 'Treat yo' self' kinda days. This place will greatly do the trick. read more

For years I've been going to a location in Utah when I visit my parents and had no idea that Nothing Bundt Cakes is a franchise. The cakes taste light and fresh and the frosting does not have that gross artificial taste so it fooled me into assuming it was it was my exclusive treat when I go to Utah. Needless to say, when I found out that it is a franchise after all and it's now in Columbus I was ecstatic! I've been here a few times and the quality and friendly service is the exact same. Simply walking in the store already makes me happy. Though small, it's bright, colorful, and very inviting. There's always pieces of cake to sample on the left that I can never resist. Usually I'm here for myself and get one of their bundlets (an individual cake). They also have bigger cakes as well as bundtinis (cupcake size) by the dozen. I love how the flavors of the cake shines through and isn't masked by a pound of frosting that some cake shops love to do. I've had all the flavors by now and they're all great but my favorite one is definitely the white chocolate raspberry. There's always a seasonal flavor and I really like the strawberries and cream one that they sell sometime during the summer. read more

I ordered an 8 inch Red Velvet cake and 5 dozen (60) Bundtinis for my son who is on the lacrosse team at The Ohio State University. I called to add the bundtinis to my original order so every player and coach could have some cake to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. They only delivered the small, 8 inch cake for 60 players and coaches so nobody got any cake. If I could give zero stars, I would. Not only did we look stingy, but my son didn't even cut the small cake because there wasn't enough for everyone. The manager I spoke to today was helpful and apologized but it doesn't fix the disappointment and anger I feel. I am so upset. read more

so so so so so so good. We got the mini cakes: carrot, lemon, chocolate, and red velvet. All four are an A+++. Seriously what do they put in these?! If you're like me and like a little icing but not a ton you'll also love the frosting situation - enough so you get a little on every bit, but not that huge dollop they put on top of cupcakes that I dislike. I recently had a couple mini bundt cakes at a memorial service over at Franklin park conservatory and I must say I was very impressed! They were very fresh and decorated to captivate attention! I love that you can order the mini bundt cakes for any occasion and can choose between all the wonderful flavors! When I first heard of Nothing Bundt Cakes, I was not happy. I thought what a dumb name, i get it you serve bunt cakes, I do not need to be hit over the head with a cutesy name. But I take back that opinion after my first bite and so will you. The stores are adorable and the staff friendly and most importantly the cakes are delicious AND moist AND adorable. They come is several sizes and a LOT of flavors. My only disappointment is they shut at 6pm!! that is ridiculously early when i have bundt cake needs! This rapidly growing chain far exceeded my expectations. My mom brought the mini bundt cakes and a full bundt cake to a family function after telling me a thousand times how good they are. Mother knows best because these cakes slay. I tried red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, lemon, carrot, and chocolate chocolate chip. All in one day. They are all perfectly moist, fluffy, and balanced since the cream cheese frosting is not overly sweet. These cakes are delicious and so cute. I bought a variety of the bundtinies for Christmas and traveled a few hours with them. I immediately refrigerated them when we got to our destination.
