Had a terrible experience! I buy often for giveaways for work associates. I had been given a frequent shopper card at another location and once you purchase 12 dozens, you get a free dozen. I have never been disappointed with a cake from nothing bundt cakes! I got the white chocolate raspberry for my mom's birthday. It travelled the 10 hours to her house, and stayed moist and fresh for the almost entire week it took us to finally finish it. I HATE dry cakes, and this place gives me nothing to worry about. I just ordered a tiered cake with the white chocolate raspberry, and chocolate turtle cakes (how can you go wrong with those choices?!?). I can't wait to go get it! read more

The staff at this location are fabulously friendly especially this young lady named Ashtin. She is so professional and friendly. She's very knowledgeable about her cakes and always gives me tips about the newest tasty treat. That girl deserves a promotion. read more

I have to give this location a one star review because of the poor management. I placed an order online and when I went to pick it up it was the wrong size cake. They tried to say it was right, but I had my receipt so they had to get one out of the case and add the decorations. I had to wait while they did this and then the manager said I had to pay $8 more for the decorations. I had already paid online and ordered the decorations, but she said the system somehow didn't charge me. So after all of this waiting instead of apologizing she wants me to pay more. I explained to her that I would pay the $8, but it was a terrible decision on her part to be so rude and defensive that the mistake was not their fault. Ok, so it's your company's online ordering system. I am a regular customer there and told her she would be losing my business over $8 and it was a poor management decision. Then when I went to pay she said "just take it". So she ended up not charging the $8, but was so argumentative that she lost my business anyway. The person behind me came in and their cake wasn't ready either. I assume that that Preston/Park location is just suffering under inexperienced management so I would try a different one. I have been there two times, both times they messed up!!! The first time I asked for a lemon bunt cake and got a white raspberry bunt cake! It was for my kids birthday, he was very upset they gave us the wrong cake!!! The one thing he was looking forward to and they messed it up! I'm super disappointed in this store. I went in to buy 7 bundtlets for my son's teachers. I wanted to get each one wrapped separately in one of their cellophane bags but I was told that I couldn't have one unless I bought the flower too for $2 or $3 more each. She said the little flag was free but I could only have 1 of them even though I was buying 7 cakes. I tried making sense of it with her but she just stuck to the same story kinda like a robot. If I buy a tower with 2 cakes each, I would end up with 3 bags and 3 flags. She acted as if I was asking for the world. I mean really, those bags are 25 for a $1 at Dollar Tree with a design and silver twist ties. Some other lady asked for a fork and she told her to go to McDonald's or Boston Market. When that lady left befuddled I asked what was up with the forks because they've always given me a fork even if I only buy 1. Anyway, I go back to my purchase deciding which kind to get. She had just put some more samples out so I asked if she had any samples of the strawberries and cream flavor and she just said no. She went to the back and got another girl who I figure must be her supervisor who started explaining that they no longer give out forks. She told me that they are a corporate store and have to follow the rules but there are 2 nearby stores that are not corporate if I wanted to go there. By this time I was frustrated because they keep going in circles. I finally just got red velvet. When I got home after going to Dollar Tree I noticed that the cakes were wet around the bottom edge, I guess they were frozen or defrosting or something. Whatever was the issue, I don't know but they were not suitable for giving as gifts. Such a disappointment. Customer service is horrible here. read more

Get. In. My. Belly! I can not get enough of this place! I absolutely LOVE their chocolate chip cake (with white icing)... it's the only Gluten free flavor they have, but thankfully, it's my fave flavor! And as for the quality of it being gluten free, it's moist, full of flavor and doesn't dry out quickly like most GF cakes do. Wish they had a frequent buyer card...I'd max it out! :) read more

I've had cakes and bundtinis here on several occasions, and I've never had a bad cake. All the flavors I've tried have been fantastic. The reason I'm writing though is to praise their customer service. I ordered a cake online for same day pick-up and when I went to pick it up, I realized I had mistakenly input the following day. The sales associate in front went in the back to check anyway but came out and apologized that it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I asked her if I could cancel the order since I needed it by first thing the next day. She went in the back again, and they came out with the cake! I had also ordered balloons with the cake, and they asked if I was willing to wait a few minutes while they inflated the balloons, acting apologetic, when I was the one who made the mistake! Good moist cakes, but terrible customer service at the Plano location. I've been in here twice. First time was fine, but the 2nd time was terrible. I bought several bundlets because I wanted to purchase different flavors to give as a gift, and spent more than the price of a large cake. I asked if I could have a box. The lady at the counter was very rude in the way that she told me that she could not give me a box and that they were only for the large cakes. I kindly offered to purchase a box. I was on my way to give the bundlets as a gift and didn't exactly want to present the cakes in the cheap individual plastic containers, so I was willing to pay almost any amount of money to not have to go to other store for a box. This lady persisted that she could not give me one. A younger girl also working the counter was listening quietly but gave me this look on her face like 'I'm so sorry this lady is being weird and rude like this" and just gave me a box when the other wasn't looking. :) Maybe this older lady was her manager, who knows. Anyway, I wasn't upset that the older lady couldn't give me a box, but more so for the incredibly rude way she spoke to me as a customer. It was as if I was inconveniencing her when there was only 1 other customer in the store. I've analyzed this a thousand times if maybe I offended this lady in someway, but I just can't figure it out. 3 stars for the kind young girl who gave me a box. NEGATIVE 1 star for the rude older lady. Unfortunately every time I want to buy from Nothing Bundt Cakes since I'm often in this area and love their cake, I remember the rude encounter with the older lady and it just sours the product for me. read more

We chose Nothing Bundt Cakes for our elegant backyard wedding in April. We ordered a white chocolate raspberry tiered cake, red velvet, and chocolate chocolate chip. They were absolutely delicious! We received so many compliments from our guests who all said they usually don't like wedding cake, but they absolutely loved the bundts! The cakes are a mouthful of light, heavenly goodness! I've tried just about every flavor. My favorite is still the chocolate. The icing is a homemade cream cheese and so flavorful. The customer service is top notch. The only reason I gave four stars is the ribbon flowers are super expensive for what they are. I'm a fan of these wonderful cakes.
