Finally gave this place a try and I was not disappointed. On a Wednesday evening, it wasn't too busy. Very nice employee who rang me up and explained their menu. The concept of the mediterranean and southern fusion is cool. I might try the fried chicken next time. This time, I tried the chicken tikka kebab with white rice and a side salad. Didn't care for the white sauce but that green sauce was fire!! They were very generous with the pita bread. Woot!

I driven by Notos Southern Bites many times, but the name kinda threw me for a loop, so I never ventured in. Recently, I was in the area trying to kill time before heading to my part-time job, so I decided to give them a try. I had an enjoyable experience, but definitely didn't experience the southern part of the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl through their website. While the inside seemed clean was practically empty, I am a fan of eating in my car...ALONE. My food was ready in less than 15 minutes and I was in an out of the venue in no time. The flavors were really good, but again; I didn't get any notes of southern cuisine. Maybe there are other menu items that hit on these notes, but I didn't get it.

We're went to that giant wine shop next door and we're hungry. I reluctantly decided to try this place. What a pleasant surprise. Everything was fresh and tasted great. They brought out a naan type bread with this really good green sauce. And we had the chicken and beef kabobs. Chickpea side was seasoned really well I'd recommend trying that. Rice had super long grains and topped with currants or raisins cooked sliced carrots maybe? Good meal that really hit the spot. Recommended

The chicken was hot and crispy. Had a decent flavor. It was very juicy. I would've loved a little bit more kick of salt but their signature sauce gave it a good flavor. The place is extremely clean and the service was friendly and fast. Next time, I'll have to try their Mediterranean side

I stopped by Notos Southern Bites on my way to work, and I was pleasantly surprised by the twist on their name. Though I expected soul food given the "Southern" in the name, it turns out they serve Mediterranean cuisine. Ambiance was good as it was a clean bright restaurant store front with lots of lighting. The food was quite good. The chickpeas were perfectly spiced, the hummus was creamy and delicious, and the fish was well-prepared. The service was a bit slower than expected, though it wasn't too busy when I visited. I'm guessing the delay was due to the fish being made to order, which is understandable. Parking was convenient since it's located in an outlet. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will likely return to explore more of their menu.

Everything was nice and hot! It was our first time checking this place out and Chef David was so kind! He swore we would love the food and even gave us free samples to try. He was right we will be back:)

Always so great to come across and ALL HALAL spot with a variety of options to chose from! From rice and chicken bowls, to fried chicken pieces/nuggets, to seafood options, and more! I eat lunch here up to five times a week. Seriously. The Mediterranean Bowl is a unique twist on the standard lunch, where every bite brings something different: red pepper hummus, babaghanoush, harissa, tabbouleh, chicken shawarma. It's all super tasty. And when I'm not in the mood for a bowl? I'll grab their super crispy spicy fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Great prices. A+ read more

Shrimp & chicken were fried well and tasty. The mac n cheese and fries were so bland. Calling this "southern food" is a reach. It's just a chicken joint. Needs way more seasoning, creativity, and overall flavor to be considered southern. I'm assuming their mediterranean options are more authentic. read more

WHOA!!! I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on delivery today. It's my first time and I work in Anne Arundel County. Do the google map to see how far. I'm stating this because when my food arrived it was still hot. I ordered the chicken (spicy 3 piece) and let me tell you it hit on every level! You have to understand, I'm very particular. My go to chicken places are Jollibee and Popeyes and this chicken tastes better than both (TO ME) Sooooo flavorful and delicious and the right amount of spicy. I MUST go back. Some of the best quality chicken in area. The place is like a mix between cava and roaming rooster with its half southern comfort half Mediterranean food menu. Ambience is amazing the playlist itself is a reason to come in my opinion (Includes Albanian and Arab club music). The hospitality of the workers is like no other. Gave me a free box of chicken after my meal. Would highly recommend especially with the Ramadan specials of 2 chicken sandwiches for $7.00 read more

Amazing customer service as always from Kingsley and Naseer! I literally love this place. I work nearby, so it's my go to spot for a meal or quick snack. The chicken is better than popeyes/kfc and it's always FRESH. Definitely recommend the place! The Mediterranean fare is delicious as well. read more

My brother and I were looking for places to go that was around the area. We went to a museum and went here afterwards. As we walked in we were greeted and treated with respect. We ordered a bit of both a chicken sandwich and a chicken shawarma wrap. Everything was cooked to perfection. The manager was kind enough to give us complimentary chicken along with our meals. That was tender and juicy. They also were happy to cut it in half for us to get the best of both worlds. If I wasn't so far away I would make this my regular place to go to. I do plan on coming back in future. Highly recommend you try it! read more

Seen the new restaurant open up, my friend went before me and suggested it today, I got a bowl for my fiancé with a side of pita bread, and I got the chicken both mild and spicy. Food is great, spicy chicken did its job lol. Great food and service. read more

Just visited Notos Southern Bites in Laurel Md for the 1st time today and I must say my experience was nothing less than top notch. I did a carryout order Whiting dinner with coleslaw. Placed my order and sat down to wait for my meal. Shortly after the young lady came over with my food. The food is simply outstanding fish was seasoned to perfection the coleslaw was amazing and to my surprise there was something in my bag with a little note that I really enjoyed. This will definitely be a place I will frequent often the food is fantastic along with the customer service. If you have not been to Notos please go you will not be disappointed. read more

Went by the other day and saw "Notos Southern Bites", sounded fun and I lean toward biscuits and gravy but I wanted to bring my husband, so we went for dinner tonight. Its Chipolte/Cava Stlye with a Mediterranean or Southern Soul Choice, even spiltting the menu boards into Southern or Medi. We had a Medi bowl with rice, chicken, 2 kinds of hummus (no extra charge)pickled onions, lettuce and choice of dressing for about 10 bucks. Also tried a piece of the fried chicken, the hummus and falafel. It was all very good and the servers were extra nice, even though its a walk through they seemed to care that we liked the food and were served our choice. It's the name though, I don't know what a Notos is but they could have called it "From Athens to Atlanta" or "Peach Tree or Parthenon". The "Southern Bites" is cute, but, something is missing about the name. I will go back though because they have Jumbo Shrimp on the menu and I want to try that next. read more

The food here is totally delicious. This is my favorite place to get chicken, fish and mashed potatoes. The seasoning is just right. The food is always fresh and ready for pickup when I order online. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Nassir was extremely helpful with my order. He made sure that I was satisfied with my food. This restaurant is also very clean. I am a repeat customer and never disappointed when I go there. This is definitely a great restaurant to have in Laurel and worth visiting!!! read more

The front lady was great! she helped my co worker and out with what we wanted to get to eat. she recommended the whiting fried fish. it was amazing! while waiting, she offered us a piece of chicken to try & it was AMAZING. The cook David did an amazing job cooking the fish and chicken and fries. my co worker and I work across the street and we will be back everyday that we can because the options are out of this world. read more

Was a big disappointment when I got home and discovered the shrimp are actually coconut shrimp. Ugh! No mention of that on the menu, or by the person who took my order. I do not like coconut AT ALL. The store is nice, and the staff seemed friendly. Don't be fooled - this is not Soul food, it's called Southern Bites (whatever that means), but it is not "American" Southern food. If you are looking for SOUL food, DO NOT go there. The chicken and Mac and Cheese were terrible. Seriously, if you just want fried chicken, this is the place, but if you want Soul food, please avoid. read more

If you order in person they will bring your order to your vehicle when ready. They don't seem to be up to date with the online ordering yet. My first time visiting this restaurant. I was greeted by David, the chef and I told him that this was my first time at this restaurant and not sure of what I should get. He suggested that I get a bowl and a bowl is what I got. He named all the foods, and I really appreciated his expertise. He was kind, friendly and very professional. I love this place! I got their spicy chicken with their sides. Sides were amazing!! I saw a review earlier saying the food was boxed, idk how they know that.
