Not southern, but solid tasty Indian, hummus and felafel and more. Clean. Seats are comfortable for a short period of time. If you are in the straits a fresh meal with home cooked quality.

I went here and I ordered the lamb wrap and it was very delicious. It is a carryout style restaurant where you can sit and eat your food so don't expect much for ambiance , but the service was really nice and the price was very reasonable.

Finally gave this place a try and I was not disappointed. On a Wednesday evening, it wasn't too busy. Very nice employee who rang me up and explained their menu. The concept of the mediterranean and southern fusion is cool. I might try the fried chicken next time. This time, I tried the chicken tikka kebab with white rice and a side salad. Didn't care for the white sauce but that green sauce was fire!! They were very generous with the pita bread. Woot!

I driven by Notos Southern Bites many times, but the name kinda threw me for a loop, so I never ventured in. Recently, I was in the area trying to kill time before heading to my part-time job, so I decided to give them a try. I had an enjoyable experience, but definitely didn't experience the southern part of the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl through their website. While the inside seemed clean was practically empty, I am a fan of eating in my car...ALONE. My food was ready in less than 15 minutes and I was in an out of the venue in no time. The flavors were really good, but again; I didn't get any notes of southern cuisine. Maybe there are other menu items that hit on these notes, but I didn't get it.

We're went to that giant wine shop next door and we're hungry. I reluctantly decided to try this place. What a pleasant surprise. Everything was fresh and tasted great. They brought out a naan type bread with this really good green sauce. And we had the chicken and beef kabobs. Chickpea side was seasoned really well I'd recommend trying that. Rice had super long grains and topped with currants or raisins cooked sliced carrots maybe? Good meal that really hit the spot. Recommended

The chicken was hot and crispy. Had a decent flavor. It was very juicy. I would've loved a little bit more kick of salt but their signature sauce gave it a good flavor. The place is extremely clean and the service was friendly and fast. Next time, I'll have to try their Mediterranean side

Fried chicken was solid. Tender, great crunch, seasoned pretty well (could've been seasoned a bit more). I have to try more food from their menu to be able to give it 5 stars.

I stopped by Notos Southern Bites on my way to work, and I was pleasantly surprised by the twist on their name. Though I expected soul food given the "Southern" in the name, it turns out they serve Mediterranean cuisine. Ambiance was good as it was a clean bright restaurant store front with lots of lighting. The food was quite good. The chickpeas were perfectly spiced, the hummus was creamy and delicious, and the fish was well-prepared. The service was a bit slower than expected, though it wasn't too busy when I visited. I'm guessing the delay was due to the fish being made to order, which is understandable. Parking was convenient since it's located in an outlet. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will likely return to explore more of their menu.

Great experience and easy to order I got the lamb and beef kebab I think it needed to be on the grill for maybe 5 min more it was a bit mushy in the middle. I love that when you done in they serve you on real plates it elevates the experience of being there. The gyro was good but the white sauce tasted similar to ranch and not white sauce. The resturant looked clean but I didn't walk around to inspect. The prices were pretty fair and the naan was pretty good. The fries were spectacular!!!!

The name "Soul Boat" definitely lured me in but instead I got canned greens and uncandid yams. I was beyond disappointed the moment I walked in but decided to give them a shot anyway because I was hungry. My wife and I ordered the following: Whiting Fish Platter, Shrimp Platter, along with fried Calamari. The platters come with two sides. The whiting platter I ordered I chose collard greens and candid yams. You can tell the greens came out the can. The amount of stems and blandness annoyed me from the first bit. The candid yams have nothing sweet about them. The fish was unseasoned can tasted like a filet that was just dumped in a deep fryer and pulled out. I threw most of this away outside of the fish. My wife ordered the shrimp platter with mac and cheese and greens. The shrimp are LARGE. Same problem with the greens. The Mac & Cheese just wasn't giving. I also ordered a side of Calamari. I took one bite and the trash that went as well. This didn't appear to be seasoned or cooked as well. The food here is awful. No clue how people eat here. Living off the soul name is ridiculous as mostly everything felt like it came out of a can. I'll never come back here and I'd advise you save your time and money. The only thing good about this place is the staff and the fancy bags your food comes in. I do not recommend.

The ladies' restroom was clean, which I appreciated, but there were no paper towels, only one hand dryer, and surprisingly no mirror at all. That was especially odd considering there were several large mirrors in the bar area. If you have plenty of time, the food may be worth it, but I would not recommend going there during a lunch break unless you order well ahead. The food was good, but the overall experience was too slow and inconvenient for me to return for lunch.

Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

I didnt know what exactly happened with tje packaging, so since I was told the problem was "fixed", I took my food and left. The worst part was the deviled egg appetizer. Another casualty of the kitchen, apparently. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.
