Amazing and will be back! The staff and management are amazing. I have recommended this place to all of my friends and family.

They are getting a star because the provoletta was actually good, everything else meh at best. And while the food was just mediocre the bigger issues are the service and doing right by the customer. I advised the waiter that my son has an egg allergy and that his steak sandwich shouldn't have any aioli on it but plain chimichurri instead. I was then told by the waiter that the chef was informed of this and that the aioli wouldn't contain egg, I was quite incredulous at this suggestion but the waiter reassured me that they take allergies seriously and that the kitchen staff will have this handled. As you can already guess, the sandwich came out, my son took one bite and immediate felt an allergic reaction coming on. Thankfully it was a mild reaction and could've been much worse. Immediately after the waiter and a couple of managers came to voice their apologies, stating that the kitchen staff had made a mistake. They offered to make my son another sandwich this time with just plain chimichurri. After a wait (and the rest of the group being done with their food) his new sandwich came out. No aioli this time but also no chimichurri, just steak on bread. No follow up. No further asks about how the new sandwich was. Check comes out and we are charged for two steak sandwiches, I point this out to the waiter and he goes to remove one of the sandwiches. We weren't looking for a freebie, but the sandwich should've been comped considering what had happened and the scary experience we had. There are also no parking options and the 4 spots out front are always full but also dangerous to park in. Really wished this restaurant well but after this experience we will not be returning. read more

Excellent renovation work has made the restaurant brighter, sleeker and nicer than it had been in prior iterations.Though I had a bad experience I suppose the food is better than the two former occupants of the space but that's really not difficult because The Falcon House was bad and Death and Glory was worse. The service all around is very good and that is probably the best aspect of Novocento but the food was just not good and we tried several items. A Pesto dish was really foul and served with a pasta not appropriate for the sauce and their version of pesto was heavy, not fresh, not authentic and really just a disgusting mess. A beef dish was better but that too wasn't very good. A crepe dessert was pretty good though and that was the only item we were able to eat. Novocento was really disappointing. read more

Awesome service, and great steak. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with the branzino, which was tasteless. The manager actually came to our table to inquire about our experience, which we shared with him. He actually told us he had the same opinion about the fish dish. Why is it still offered to customers if even the manager has a negative opinion of it? And he did nothing to appease us. On top of that they literally charged for the ice in our drink. It's a shame because our server was phenomenal and the restaurant is very pleasant. read more

We wanted to try someplace new so we tried Novecento and we were not disappointed. Hostesses were sweet. We were lucky to have Kenny as he was very knowledgeable of the menu, great personality and he gave us great recommendations, and we were not disappointed! The tuna appetizer was delicious! Let's start with the building, classic and well maintained. The service was superb, Andrew welcomed us at the door, provided excellent, personable service-even if he's not a gin guy. We couldn't have been more impressed with Novecento in Delray Beach! From the service to the ambiance and the outstanding food we had a fantastic dining experience. The salmon and filet mignon (lomo) were amazing. They also have a very generous happy hour 3-7 M-F including half off bottles of wine on Tuesdays. We tried two of their amazing desserts -Panqueques Novecento (handmade caramelized dulce de leche crepes, vanilla ice cream) and tiramisu. Everything can be improved at this restaurant. Went there because it had good reviews, and was totally disappointed. The service was TERRIBLE- I guess that one reason that they include an 18% gratuity on the check, because they don't have to provide service. If the restaurant was hopping I would be more forgiving, but that wasn't that was t the case. Charged $16.00 for 2 glasses of ice tea. Thank you very much for telling us you are charged for refills! To top it off when it came to the bill our competent servicer couldn't even divide the bill correctly and over charged each couple by $20.00 dollars! If we didn't catch this mistake they would have been $40.00 in the restaurants favor. This is a mediocre restaurant with a lot of competition in Delray! Horrible management and service! So bad. We had a birthday party at a restaurant last night called Novecento in Delray Beach. This place is a total joke. The service last night was absolutely terrible. We went for a small 10 person birthday party. Not only was the waitress incompetent but the manager was worse. We literally waited 45 minutes for our checks, as they didnt know how to split up a bill for a party over two people. Then it came incorrectly and then when they tried to fix it, it came back wrong again. They never tried to apologize, or compensate us. When I said I'm leaving , they threatened to call the police. Actually i think the manager was on the phone with the cops. This is a terribly managed and run restaurant. Even if the food quality or pricing was great, which is was not, the experience and service was terrible. If you want to go out and have your night ruined, come to this place. I strongly , strongly do not suggest dining here. FYI I have NEVER posted a review online before but felt obligated to inform people about this experienc. read more

Visited with a party of three -- 18% gratuity was automatically added. When I questioned it, staff said it was on the menu. It was, but buried in tiny, barely legible print at the bottom. If you're going to charge automatic gratuity, especially for small groups, it should be clearly communicated upfront. Hiding it like this is misleading. Diners deserve transparency to decide whether to stay or not. What happened here feels deceitful. It left a bad taste. read more

Excellent job on the renovation of the old Falcon and Death or Glory site. Lots of outside space too and a cool bar. And, the service and food were first-rate. We started with the Chicken Empenadas, recommended by our server, Carson, which were the most flavorful we've ever had! Followed that up with a Ribeye, perfectly cooked and seasoned, which was amazing! A hint: try it with the Cocoa/Malbec sauce. Wow! I was anxious to try this new restaurant off the Ave in Delray Beach. It was excellent in every way. Jason, the manager, immediately greeted us and explained the concept from Argentina. Judy, our server, was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and even explained to us the amount of time to order for Happy Hour, which goes till 7 pm! The complementary warm bread with the dip was perfect and shrimp cocktail and shrimp camarones weere a great start. Our group had the Branzino, skirt steak, and Jasmine rice. All were delicious. Entrees were very good but portions are extremely small. Only negative is there is no valet parking and none available in any close vicinity to restaurant. Many restaurants have come and gone at this unique historic location but in a restaurant-centric environment like downtown Delray, you better have something that is sustainable and enticing to get you to come back. Unfortunately, we didn't experience it nor witness any promise beyond their soft opening stumbles. As luck would have it, the fryer was not working which affected many items we were looking forward to tasting. No milanesa? No empanadas? No fries? Shrimp Al Ajillo was undercooked and presentation looked like something was missing. Argentinian Entraña was tasty but plate was unimaginative. Food was quite good but service not so much. Our server, Jade was unfriendly and acted as if she hated her job. When it comes to the food as stated on website "we believe that fresh and made from scratch is the only way." That said, French fries were not good and obviously frozen not hand cut. First off, KEN! I had an incredible experience when I ate at Novecento Delray. It is an Argentinian kitchen that doesn't just have great steaks but every dish recommended didn't miss. The tuna agua chile to start was delicious and refreshing. The parrillada was a platter or different meats to really show case their abilities. The service was out of this world and I will continue to come to receive the service I did.
