I made an appointment online, using the QR code on the mailer, for 2:30 today but showed up early around 1:00. Easily and graciously accommodated by the shop. Went for an oil and filter change ($70 with a coupon :-) . Service technician noticed low mileage on my 3 year old Durango and checked Car Fax to see if his recommended brake fluid and coolant flushes had been done/logged. They hadn't... If I could do a review without giving them a star I would. For my 2019 Honda Civic they wanted to charge me 18K for a cracked head gasket. I asked for them to check the gas. They said they didn't need to and stood by their diagnosis. their labor cost was 8K of the 18K. Outrageous when I know these Honda's are a beast. I towed it to Honda and Honda Tomball said bad gas. My tank was basically water. I left Honda with a price tag of $1300. This business is robbing people. I made a post in my neighborhood to warn and here are some of their quotes. Megan said, "They gave us some outrageous quote one time because they found out I had a warranty and the warranty company thought they were shady and had me go to a ford dealership. They also quoted a neighbor 6 grand for something that wasn't needed!" Graham said, "They are lying crooks. Don't go there." Fred said, "I use this repair shop until I uncounted the same method. They only provided a number for the repair without even looking at the car. Also taking the car in, for example, for an oil change they told me I had a problem with the grease caps for steering that would cost 4K plus." Scott said, "I went there once as I was leaving out of town the next day, my wife's car needed an alternator and I couldn't leave her without a vehicle. He provided me with new information about my vehicle stating there were several problems that had to get taken care of immediately or else it could permanently degrade my engine life and in a matter of just a few moments his crew and him took care of everything. They are pleasant and helpful, BUT! Watch out for their prices! They always find something more you "need". Stopped in for air in tire and found I needed a new set of tires. They quoted me over $1500 for three different tires for my mid-size Ford Edge. High pressure and scare tactic telling me not safe to drive to home, less than a mile from shop. Even offered me a loaner. I insisted on my keys and went home. Went to Goodyear the next morning and got four new tires, new battery, new wipers blades blades for $300 less than their quote for tires alone. This has happened before with them. That's why I was hesitant to deal with them. Beware and due your due diligence before spending anything with them. They have done good work in the past, but some was unnecessary. read more

I was told by the guy at the front desk/service adviser that since I was only getting a state inspection and an oil change, he had removed me from their marketing advertising, meaning they will no longer send me discount coupons because I'm not doing expensive repairs there. Beyond 5 star service! I was honestly hesitant about coming here based on some of the other reviews but it was close and I chose convenience. I needed an annual inspection and not only did they complete that but they also noticed my car fob battery was low (it's been low for almost a year) and they replaced it. They also noticed my car battery cable was loose.. I've been having issues with my brand new car battery for 6 months and I sat at a dealership for 4 hours one day while they tried to figure out what was going on and they couldn't. The guys at Now Auto figured it out without me even bringing it up and fixed it within minutes. I was worried about the cost of these additions... but they were on the house. Typically as women we're used to going into a car place on our own and getting taken advantage of monetarily, but if anything they did the opposite and made sure I was really taken care of. I'm in my 30s but I swear they took care of me like I was one of their own daughters. I never write reviews but I couldn't recommend this place more! read more

I still can't get over the fact that they charged my parents over $10,000 to fix their BMW and it's still broke down and had to be towed twice after the third breakdown. 12/24/25 oil pan and gasket replaced for $1600 after having identified as having a minor seepage. 12/27 massive oil loss on I-10 in Florida. Took 4 quarts to fill and 1 quart every 50+ miles to get vehicle to affiliated warranty mechanic. Florida mechanic identified damage to frame where gasket/pan meets frame; minor oil seepage inevitable. Now Auto Care either caused the damage or never needed to address it. Interestingly Now Auto Care never called, liked they always do to with prior service, nor offered anything for this disaster which also cost 24 hours of lost vacation time. read more

I went here for my state inspection sticker. During this check, I also asked them to check my tires and to screw my plates. They were able to help me with everyone in under an hour. They also told me that my cabin filter needed to be changed, which was what the dealer told me when I went for my maintenance work. They changed the same as the dealership, so I got it done as well. I was happy to have been in and out as I was with the kiddos. There was no changing table for my little one, so I was glad to be done in a timely manner read more

Okay. Their state inspection machine has been down for over a month and because of this they need to farm it out to another shop. Well one of my vehicles didn't pass because of some tint on the windshield. I appreciate that they didn't pass it by the law of the state. However, they had a chance to do some customer service and Anthony declined. Still charged for the inspection, which is by the states book the correct thing to do. But they could have given us a credit or something else to offset it. Victor called me back and tried to smooth things over but unfortunately this will be the end of our business relationship. Which is a shame because I really liked this shop. And the irony is the state just passed a law that inspections as a whole will be going away soon. read more

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of giving them another chance, and it was just as bad as before. My car's AC stopped blowing cold air, so I brought it to Now Auto Care. The technician, Joshua, diagnosed the issue and claimed my compressor had failed, sending metal shavings into the system. He said the compressor, condenser, and expansion valve all needed to be replaced, along with a system evacuation and recharge. His initial quote? A jaw-dropping $4,500. Since my car wasn't worth putting that much money into--and it wasn't even my personal vehicle--I asked if using aftermarket parts could lower the cost. He then dropped the price to $3,600. Still too high. After more back-and-forth, he lowered it to $2,800, then finally $2,750. At this point, I did a quick Google search and found that this type of repair typically costs $1,200-$2,000. Even RepairPal confirmed similar pricing. I got a quote from another shop for $2,300, but when I asked X Auto Care to meet me at $2,500, they refused, saying they "couldn't compromise on quality." So, if they could drop the price from $4,500 to $2,750, how were they still able to "keep the quality"? Makes you wonder, right? Then Joshua wanted to know where I got that quote and went online to try and discredit the other shop based on Google reviews. That's when I decided to check Now Auto Care's own reviews--which I should have done first--and saw a pattern of overcharging customers. In the end, I went to a shop recommended by a friend, and they verified parts pricing with a dealer. The total repair, including labor and refrigerant refill, came out to just $1,850. This experience just confirmed what I already suspected: Now Auto Care overcharges and pushes unnecessary upsells. They originally tried to charge me over $4,000 for a job that should have cost less than half that. I wish I had trusted my gut and avoided them after my last visit, when they tried to overcharge me for a battery replacement. I ended up replacing it myself for $300 less. Bottom line: If you enjoy paying nearly double what a repair should cost, go to Now Auto Care. Otherwise, do yourself a favor--research your options and go somewhere more honest. read more

There was a slight confusion on my part concerning my car but the staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything to me clearly. Jose has been especially helpful and knowledgeable and you can tell he really has a passion for what he does. He really set the tone for a stress free and personalized experience which is especially valuable in a field that often doesn't take the time to get on your level and explain what's going on. Like the others have voiced, please perform your due diligence before committing to their "price". I gave 3 stars as they did perform the diagnostic for free unlike other places that charge you, however the issue stems from their pricing. They over quote you! They quoted me almost $600 to add coolant/freon to my vehicle since it was low plus run a dye through my AC system to determine if there is a leak. My eyes widen & to justify the price, the person at the reception stated well Freon went up for your type of vehicle.. Oh yeah, they really thought I was incompetent.. So, instead I took my vehicle to a shop that only specialize in vehicles such as mine, & guess what only paid $159 for the Freon plus the dye & labor.. A mess.. So yes be very careful of their quotes & if it feels quite high, chances are the quote is high.. Listen to your intuition.. read more

I have had to come here 3 times so far this year..... January, February and March ‍ -breaks and rotors -clutch cable broke (on my hubby saleen mustang) -oil change & inspection My point is I've spent a lot of money to fix MY OLD CAR, and even though I'm upset I have to spend the money (it's life, shit happens) AND I STILL LOVE COMING HERE! The men are absolutely amazing, very informative of all that needs to be fixed, professional, caring and understanding! They can get most of my stuff done in the same day! So very quick and efficient. Offer to take you home while you wait for your vehicle. They literally break down where every dollar went on the repair. They send you pictures DURING the inspection/repair so as they find issues you can see what the mechanic is saying is the problem. Yeah it's gonna be expensive to fix ANYTHING on a car! But here I feel taken care of and respected! They even have the Firestone credit card where I can pay over 6 months with no interest! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place!!! read more

I went to NOW Auto due largely to proximity, and I was interested in finding a new, reliable auto shop. I came in for a state emissions inspection and an oil change: no big deal. But the mechanics found an issue with my oil pan. Again, not a problem, until the mechanic gave a quote. They wanted to charge me $2500. I don't know a ton about cars, but I knew that this was a shakedown. And the mechanic I was talking to was pressuring me to do it immediately: as if leaving that day without the repair could jeopardize my car imminently. I knew that they didn't want me to leave that place to get another quote, but I did. Sure enough, I found a reasonable quote from an auto shop nearby. At that place, for the exact same repair? $386!! I literally saved $2100 by not going with NOW Auto. This, folks, is exactly why auto shops get a bad reputation: overcharging unknowing customers. NOW is a complete ripoff. I understand that the individual mechanics are often pressured by corporate to hit certain numbers a month, so I don't necessarily blame them. But come on, guys. When you have honest dealings with your customers you can gain a client for life. Instead, I will avoid NOW at all costs. DO NOT COME HERE! I went in for a break job and they say I needed $900 worth of work. I agreed. I let him know I will be paying with a credit card. When he started working on the car, I somehow need more work and my total will be $1.3k. I said absolutely not. His response was well how much can you put on your credit card. Based on their information online, they said they can fix BMW vehicle issues. However, they never fix my BMW issue at all. We have been back and forth many times and still have the same problem. Even though we paid twice for the same issue, they still have excuses that the problem was coming from different modules and parts. Then why they can not figure it out in the beginning? They charged me $100 more than another quote I received to get the same work done. I still got the job done cause it was one of the few places open on Sunday. 1 week later I needed a brake job done. I would stay away from this place at all costs. I called ahead of time and gave them model and make of my car and asked for quote on oil change. I was told it would be 79.95. When I took the car in today, I confirmed with the sales guy how much it would cost because I had a coupon. He told me that my coupon was worth $60, and so my oil change would be no more then $20, which is exactly what i was expecting to pay, so all seemed ok. I later received a call telling me I needed a few things done to the car, which I said now to. I was asked if they could speak to y husband which I found offensive so I said no. They told me there is three years warranty. However, when I went back with the same issue I have with my car. The guy told me the problem was caused by different parts and need to charge me again.
