We ate at Nozomu for the first time tonight and I can assure you we will be back. From the minute we arrived we were treated with warmth and genuine kindness. The sushi and sashimi was some of the best I have ever had and definitely the best I have had in Bucks County. Wonderful combination of truly classic Japanese options along with a variety of creative and delicious roll options I have never had before. Kenny and Amanda made us feel like part of the family. Hubby and I are regulars to New Hope's dining scene. When Blue Moose closed and Nozomo took over the space, we eagerly awaited their opening. And they did not disappoint. The presentation is exquisite and so inviting to eat. The fish quality is very traditional Japanese excellence, that just melts in your mouth. The chef is quite the master in creating beautiful concoctions of fish and fruit. Then there's there's Amanda - your wonderful host who makes you feel like a long lost friend every time - then the rest of the staff, special mention to Kenny - who remembers how and what you like. Staff is attentive without being intrusive. Courses are evenly spaced and atmosphere/ambiance is warm and inviting. We brought some friends the next time we went who were just as impressed. Nozomu is our only sushi-go-to-place from now on. read more

Excellent sushi restaurant. This place is a welcome addition to the New Hope/Lambertville restaurants. The servers are friendly and attentive and the sushi is fresh. I had the sushi sashimi platter and my wife had the sushi regular. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely return. It is a small place so I recommend making a reservation. It can also be difficult to find as the signage is less than ideal but even if you need to walk up and down the street a few times, it's totally worth it. read more

My wife and were excited about this place as there isn't much in New Hope that offers good sushi. So let me put this in perspective. We ate at Tavern on State in New Haven, CT. Why am I bringing that up? Well it's nominated as restaurant of the year. We spent $178. See receipt pic. That's for 6 drinks plus food. Service was impeccable. We spent $125 at this place. No alcohol and we both went home starving. No one in New Hope wants to say anything negative or give constructive feedback about their restaurants. It's like they're giving their boss feedback in front of the whole company. 'Everything is fine!!' Well it's not. The sushi bar is not going to be able to handle the volume of tables allotted. Hence you'll be waiting forever for you meal. Plus they don't offer anything outside of sushi. So the sushi bar will be overwhelmed. The waiters are nice and hard working as they have to go up and down stairs to clean and serve food. Bad design. But I feel for them. I love to promote local business but just like everything else in New Hope it fell flat. read more

The owners personable and really care about their customers and the staff is attentive and professional. The outdoor area has a new wall garden that is gorgeous. Having an excellent experience in March, we returned to a less than satisfying meal. First, the wine glasses were dirty, my chair was wobbly and had to exchange it myself. The sushi rolls were tiny and unpleasantly mashed up. The tobiko sushi was served as a dollop of tobiko on a lemon skin? we were confused as we eat tobiko elsewhere for years and never was it presented as such. (Actually in March we ordered the Tobiko and it was presented correctly in a seaweed wrap.) Additionally we were charged$18 plus $3 for the 2 dollops? The Scallop sushi was stretched so thin over the rice it was broken in spots. The unagi was a tiny sliver which was difficult to assess what it was? We visited here for my granddaughters 16th birthday on June 28. 2024. I've eaten a lot of sushi in my life. I have to say hands-down, this was the best! Not to mention the owner visited our table and she was super kind and sweet as well as our server. The ambiance was quaint and fun. There's a reason for both of those kinds of places, but I can't imagine what the point of Nozomu --expensive, yet ill-conceived, badly executed and joyless-- is. I have to agree with the guy above who says that the people of New Hope are unrealistically positive --like, to a crack-smoking degree-- about their restaurants. Is it that difficult for New Hope residents to discern the difference between mall sushi and actual good sushi, just because the restaurant in question is in their very own town? Cerviche a dream, my daughters enjoyed their rolls. I can't eat much rice and ordered the special Kolbe ribs: what a mistake. They were so tough I literally lost a tooth which since the meat was so tough, losing my appetite from the loss of my tooth at least gave me a reason not to try to eat the meat anymore. read more

I order ceviche whenever I can. It's not frequent but perhaps a few times a year and especially when I travel. Nozomu's ceviche is the best I have ever eaten. It's the marinade. I could have slurped it with a straw. read more
