NTB provides good tire service. I go here when I have flat tires, so usually an emergency. They help out quickly and efficiently every time. The staff is friendly. The inside is clean. They have a nice sitting area. They are across the street from a Kroger and Starbucks, so it's easy to pop over to there while you wait. The prices are good, they don't overcharge, average prices. I purchased new tires and had an alignment in Jan 2026 by NTB. In mid-February 2026, someone drove into my vacant car, in a parking lot, damaging my passenger side/front bumper and shattering the headlight assembly; causing my steering wheel to be turned (while my wheels were straight). The other driver's insurance company refused to do an internal check of my suspension, alignment, etc. and only fixed the bumper and headlight. After I got my car back from repairs, I took my vehicle back to NTB on Debaun Loop and they took care of me with no problem. Chris and his team were very friendly, got me in and out, communicated to me every step of the way, and eased all of my concerns. The only reason it's getting 2 stars is for Heather up front. She hooked me up right away and was great the whole time. Then I checked out with the manager. They jacked up the inside of the rim. You can see the deep gouges in it from changing the tire. And he had the audacity to say that's what happens when you have to change a tire. And he says it may of happened last tire change. The car is brand new, hasn't had a set of tires put on it. I've had many of tires changed in my life and never had it come back like this. I took it in there because a friend hit a curb with it, otherwise, no other damage, he and I would of had a longer conversation. And while I'm there he tells the kid he needs to learn how to align tires. He may want him to learn how to mount first before he moves on. Check your rims. I had my tires rotated at NTB on Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA on 17 June 2024. No charge to me because I purchased my tires from them. Manager Phil heard my request to check back tires for a suspected balance problem. Technician Jay checked this and could not find a problem. Manager Phil suggested that I take Jay for a test drive after the tire rotation was performed, and Jay heard the tire sound (back left) that I had described. Technician Jacob removed that tire from the rim and inspected it. The tire was not the problem. It is something mechanical (burnt bearing, warped brake rotor, etc). I wanted you to see my 5 star review for NTB Chesapeake, Cedar Road. I was not charged for this extra effort. This was NTB making sure that the tires they sold me were installed correctly and safe. I went here needing a couple of new tires, and they stated they would call on a certain date. They never called, so of course, why would I call them. I went to a discount tire off of college drive, and they were amazing. The other thing was that another gentleman was at NTB the day I went, and they told him that he needed a new air filter. Then when asked about it she told me to F off and hung up! Now mind you they also tore up my rim after they over torched a lug nut, and tried to make us pay for the labor and new lug but. Scheduled an Oil change and tire rotation for NTB last Friday morning (May 17th) and have to say that everything went off without a hitch. I was able to do so via their website the day before and when I walked in 15 minutes prior to my appointment Friday morning I saw my name on a digital board for 10am. I checked in, we made sure my info was up to date in the system and gave them my keys. I watched a little TV in the lounge while I waited and 45 minutes later I was out to finish my remaining errands for the day. Customer service was fantastic. I talked to 3 people throughout the process. The attendant running the front area, the mechanic who worked on the car and another mechanic who came into the lounge while I was waiting. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Couldn't get in any better. read more

I had a brake pads and calipers done March 2023. I had to return in May 2023 because the right rear caliper was defective. I had to return July 2023 because the left side was defective. Now on June 2023 I am being told that my calipers, brake pads are bad. They recommend new rotors and my brake hoses replaced.Since I declined the brake hoses and rotors I was told that they could not warranty my calipers or brake pads. I chose to have only the warranty replaced and they stated that I must pay the labor fee of $100. I just paid $757.52 back in March to this business for a brake job, there is no reason why these brake pads and calipers went bad that fast.. NTB has done me completed wrong......BEWARE!!!!!! My car was dropped off at 535pm on 6/7 and because they were mad that I would not buy additional services on 6/8 I did not get my car back until 5pm. Way to go NTB. I am now forced to take my car to another shop to have take a look at this brake job because I do not trust NTB. SMH read more

On way to Outer Banks I had a flat tire on the passenger rear, two weeks earlier I had the driver rear tire replaced by NTB in Virginia Beach. They only had one tire in stock and could not replace both rear tires. I called the manager and verified the tire was in stock and had our car towed to facility. Upon arriving, the women manager tells me they will not replace the other rear without replacing one of my front tires. My two front tires are 12 month old Michelin's. I explained I did not want to replace and they told me to go somewhere else. Given the fact the car was towed, I had no alternative but to stay at this location or drive 2 miles on a rim. During my move to Oklahoma City my vehicle encountered a very bad sounding grind while driving. It was not steering correctly and was not safe to drive. I brought my vehicle to this location and spoke to Mark who was very polite and understanding of the situation. I heard back later saying that they found that my windshield wipers, air filter and transmission all needed to be worked on. Of course this location doesn't work on transmissions which is fair. However that was not even the source of the problem. But, I'm glad I know about my wipers and air filter now.....I proceed to pick-up my vehicle and took it to a different auto shop. They proceeded to find that the passenger rear shock bolt was missing, the metal was bent, and the tire was being shredded by the grinding. It was extremely noticeable and I don't not know how you would miss this during a thorough walk around of a vehicle. Based on my experience at this location I would not recommend and hope others will consider other establishments for their auto needs. read more

I had an appointment for 1:00pm. At 1:15 after we finished setting up the services for my car, I asked how long it would take. The service representative said approximately two hours. I went to Starbucks across the street and watched for two hours as my car sat in the same spot. When I walked back to NTB and asked how long it would be I was told one hour. An hour and a half. Maybe two hours. If I had been told four hours to begin with I would've just got an Uber back home after I got there instead of wasting my day. Terrible customer service, zero urgency, and incompetent employees that have no regard for your time. Needless to say I left before they could screw up my car. read more

Worst service experience ever. I drove to NTB today with a fully functioning TPMS system in my year old truck. And left with 4 new tires and a missing tpms sensor. Once they got to my truck 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment, there service technician started removing the tires from my wheels. Soon after the sales woman told me that i had a missing tpms sensor. They brought me into the garage and showed me a wheel with no sensor. What I dont understand is how I got to NTB with tire pressure readings displayed on my dash for all 4 wheels and suddenly have a wheel that magically didnt have a sensor. While in the bay I told them to put the wheels on andfinish the job so I could leave. I went back into the waiting area where the saleswoman tried to sell me a new sensor that may or may not work with my truck because it doesnt match the factory sensors. I declined. Then a salesman decided to try and deal with me, he tried to explain how they had two techs working on my wheels out in the bay and there is no way that wheel could have had a sensor and they would never try to sell me anything i didnt need. I once again told him to have the tires put on so i could pay, leave, and have the job done by professionals properly. Eventually they finished the job, I paid, and then as i was leaving i heard a thud and got out to find that they didnt tighten down my spare they put back on under my truck. I drove around the lot and asked the tech which position they put the tire without the sensor and he didnt have a clue. Once I started to get the run around I had a real bad attitude towards the salesman and sales woman. For that I am sorry. I assume the tech broke the sensor threw it in the trash and the sales people took their word and figured they could get me to buy their tpms sensors. I will never go back to NTB, monday I will call corporate and try to be made whole. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. These people are untrustworthy. Sensors that were there at 2:30 dont magically disappear at 4:30. read more

Yesterday morning, I scheduled SNL same day afternoon appointment for a state inspection via their website. I selected the time slot amd the option to wait on location. Per their instructions, I called to confirm my appointment. I was told that I would get my vehicle back until the following day because they were understaffed and there were several vehicles in front of me. I understand the understaffed part but I said their website allowed an appointment and they should inform someone to stop that. Defeats the purpose of an appointment if neither party can honor the agreement. However, what made it worse was when I was lied to by the person on the phone. They informed me it is illegal in Virginia for a business to schedule appointments for state inspections, which is funny since that's exactly what I've done for 20 years in Virginia. 19VAC30-70-10. The fact that they already have a long list of bad reviews speaks volumes. This is the second time I've been to this location and it's still by far is the worst. I watched several associates walk back and forth for 3+ minutes before I was even acknowledged. Scheduled an appt for a designated time. Got there and was told there was a 2 hour wait plus I would have to leave the car, and that mechanics had called out. I couldn't leave my car that long so I had to go elsewhere. Perhaps, someone could have called ahead of time to advise me of the scheduling issue before I drove 30 minutes there for my appointment . With all that's going on right now time and money are precious and I don't have time wasting any of it. I have a warranty for my tires and unfortunately couldn't even get them serviced there. Awful service! My vehicle was worse after going there. Not only did they break stuff that wasn't broken, I have no confidence they even did the alignment. I paid for an oil change and when I checked it, it had not been changed and I didn't even get an apology or an excuse. I can't verify the alignment so it's possible it wasn't done either. My initial problem was it wasn't blowing heat. They replaced the heater core ($$$) and it still didn't work, but to make matters worse, it started leaking antifreeze. Took it back, they did repairs and once again it started leaking. They couldn't assure me it wouldn't leak again. It did! All they did was recommend another mechanic. What did NTB do? -Charge me for a new heater core, that didn't fix the problem. - improperly installed hoses that kept leaking -I paid to have my oil changed, and they didn't do it the first time. -my engine light is now lit - my clock no longer works - my radio now only gets 2 stations, antenna cable was not properly reinstalled. - they kept it over a week because the mechanic working on it comes in at 4:00pm. They did jot do what I had asked. I got 3 nails in my tire. I asked for the other 3 to be checked for nails and to set the pressure. When I picked the car up, it still read low pressure and no one could remember if they checked the tires. I had to wait while they checked again. read more

This is the WORST PLACE TO GO. My tire had an air pressure problem. I made an appointment to get the tire fixed at 12:30. I didn't pick up my car until 6:30 because the first time they tried to fix it they looked at it wrong so it took longer than usual. For this they told me the cost of the "work" they did was free. Gave me a receipt with all the "work" they did and all. The next day my tire pressure light is on again. I go back up there to figure out what the problem is. Come to find out THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING THEY SAID THEY DID the day before. They lied and gave me a receipt for something THEY NEVER DID. No work was done on my car AT ALL. The manager took care of me but didn't listen. I told him I wanted an oil change, my tires rotated, and both filters changed. They changed my oil, said I had a nail in my tire, and my tires would not pass inspection. He quoted me $1,050 for a small car who's tires shouldn't cost over $200 each. The mechanic came in with my cabin filter and the manager told him to put it back, that they were already done with my car. I bring my car in to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced... while i was waiting I was told that the mechanic recommended that i replace the windshield wipers because there is some streaking and change the cabin air filter because it's dirty... Im thinking hmmm????... I just replaced the cabin air filter and wipers a couple days ago...then they tell me that there's too much oil and i need an oil change... Hmmm???? I just got an oil change at the dealership a couple days ago... I dont believe that there's too much oil there...I get home and let the oil settle and check the dipstick...just as i thought... Not overfilled... but if it were could they just drain some out? And im pretty sure the mechanics at the nissan dealership know how to change oil... They never overfilled it before and they have changed at least 10 times... never any overfilled oil symptoms... I now drive the car home... hop on the interstate and there's vibrations in the steering wheel at high speeds. Im thinking oh God please tell me they balanced the tires... but im not surprised they did this..doesnt appear that the tires were balanced .. i check the wheels to see if there are any weights.. there were none.. what are the chances the they dont need to be balanced? i refuse to ever go back there again so i take it to firestone .. sure enough there were never balanced...i sat there for 3 hours and paid for a balance..any good review on here is fake read more

OMG can't believe how they stay in business old man with glasses front counter tried to rip me off said my price was 621.00 I said no then he said 465.00 I said no then he got to the correct price 411.33 I said yep he had a bad attitude he did not seam to have a clue on what he was doing. While customer where waiting and then they come and tell me my battery was no good and wanted to sell me one for 200.00 told them I would check it myself took it to oriellys had them check it and said it was great no problems so people reading this if they tell you something is bad take and get second opinion first this is a rip off place no question and then I look at my new tire and one wieght on each tire except front right and had 4 different wieghts on it never in my life have I seen this shady workmanship had Chris come out and look at it and he said it was fine after checking other vehicles not one had more than 2 wieghts also know my truck makes a funny noise that was not there before. Do not go here. I dropped my car off for an oil change and possible alignment and new tires. They took our phone number down wrong so my car was there from 230pm til 8pm and when I came to get it, all that had been done was an oil change. They said we needed new tires but wasn't able to get a hold of us. So I said just give me 4 tires, I was driving 6 hours to Phili the next day and needed this done. So they told me I could jm leave my car there over night and pick it up in the morning the next day and they'd have the tires done. At 10am the next day we called and Heather answered and told us that there were appointments before us and it would get done when it gets done.... we called a few other times after this and kept getting put on hold for 5 to 12 minutes so I finally hung up and called corporate. My car was finally done at 3pm. So I'm driving to Phili and my TMPS sensor goes off and I try to reset it and it continues to stay on, as well as every time I go over any kind of bump or driveway my car is scraping the ground and it NEVER used to do that. I'm beyond pissed. If Heather doesn't enjoy customer service then she needs to find another job, this experience would have been less shitty if we didn't have to deal with a rude face of the business. read more

A day into my vacation my car broke down, I called around so many auto shops while waiting for a tow truck (mind you its 6 pm at night on a Sunday) so every auto shop closed at 7pm. Just my luck. after calling around, I finally got in contact with Greg( it was 6:30 at this point) explaining to Greg that my tow truck is 45 mins away (but you know that time can always change) and that I needed my car fixed to return home (another state) the next day.( whiles weeping uncontrollably) I continued to explain my situation. Greg went out of his way and WAITED FOR ME to arrive and agreed to get my vehicle looked at by him once dropped of but will not be able to work on it until the next day. It came around 10 pm and my tow truck still haven't arrived and I Greg is waiting at the shop for me to arrive and things are just going down hill. @ 10:30 ish I eventually called Greg and explained to him that my tow truck expected arrival keeps extending, and that I didn't want him to keep waiting. so Greg instructed me on what to do once I arrived to NTB and that my vehicle will be looked at first thing in the morning. My tow truck finally arrived at 11:30 pm (luckily same time my rental got delivered to me), and I was able to drop it off at NTB. Before I arrived to NTB my insurance informed me there was a recall on my vehicle and that repairs are covered by the dealership. Even though my vehicle didn't get worked on by NTB, let me tell you customer service is the key to any business. Greg treated me as if I was his Daughter, he made sure I was safe and my car was going to be safe. He made me feel warm and welcomed. I dropped off my vehicle on a friday at 2 PM for state inspection, was promised it would be ready for pick up the next day and would receive a call. I got no call. Sunday at 9:30 AM I called and was told it had not been inspected but it would be next in line and would receive a call. 3 hours later no call yet. I called back to be told that I could not get the inspection until Monday. Terrible customer service. read more

I dropped my vehicle off on a Thursday just for a oil change and diagnostic and sensor light replacement. When the diagnosis was ran one person called telling me I need this and someone calls back saying I need something else. I waited for a phone call to let me know my car was ready and no one called I had to actually go to the place and retrieve my car. When I got there my car still was no fixed, I had to leave it another day. Next day I had to wait and still no phone call that my vehicle was ready for pick up. This time when I went back for pick up I asked to speak with the managaer and the SERVICE MANAGER a woman decides she wants to help but not in a friendly way, she was rude, very unprofessional. She decide that it is okay to cut her customers off in mid sentence and says what she needs to say and like to argue back with the customer. I have never been to an establishment where a manager is very argumentive with people. I am not sure what is truly going on with that place but there needs to be some retraining with all the staff members from the management down to the mechanics. read more

I called and scheduled a 1:30pm appointment for a tire repair and alignment. I was told it would be done around 2:30. It's now 3:20 and they still haven't taken my car back. It might be different if someone checked in with me to let me know they're running behind or gave me an update on the time estimate. Nothing. I'm sitting here right in front of them and no one has even checked in. Finally a mechanic came inside and told them I was waiting at the desk. The man who walked up never apologized or acted the least but sorry that I've been waiting for 2 hrs and nothing has been said/done. It's poor customer service and I'm not the least bit surprised they're the lowest rated NTB in the area. I should've done my research first. When I asked how long before I'm out (I need to out by 4:15) they said 4:15 for the tire repair but now I can't get my alignment and will have to reschedule that service. I'm beyond frustrated. Never will I ever recommend this place to anyone. It doesn't even deserve one star. But I have to put one star just to post this review. My husband has been there a total of two times in the past few years. Both times were a complete waste of time. When he went back up there the first time wanting to know why work wasn't done in the span of fine his truck was there he was ignored and got attitudes from whomever did talk to him. The first time was a complete waste of money with no refunds given or make up appointment to do the alignment that he paid for, for the original appointment made. Today, he had an appointment at 2:30pm to be there for an alignment and 4 tire change. Thinking it would be better this time around, an appointment was made Monday (01/11/2021) for it. Well and behold, he arrives there and guess what? NO ONE IS THERE! NO ONE INCLUDING THE FRONT DESK, TECHNICIANS OR ANYONE! But he was given an appointment and quote on the phone Monday for the work to be done. There was a sign that said 'temporarily closed' upon arrival. Well, if that was the case. All people with appointments should have been contacted prior to the start of the business day and not waste people's time or money. Some time and money were lost at work today due to this terrible lack of professionalism and communication. And with this being a repeat offense, I'm going to call corporate because honestly with the type of personalities displayed here this place shouldn't operate. read more

When I came to pick up my vehicle they had marked "11am" in red sharpie on the work order. So why was my vehicle never serviced? They dont know and all they could do was barely apologize.
