Victoria is beyond amazing! I have gone to see Victoria twice.The first time was after months of getting tests done at the doctors for pain in both of my legs (to the point that it hurt to walk). I've been making the trek to Numo for over 3 years and happy that they have become part of my health maintenance routine. Originally I went to Faye in July of 2011because I was overdue with my third baby. I was trying anything at that point I did not want to be induced. I went to her on my 6th day of being overdue less than 24 hours I went into labor and I had a 5 hour labor no complications. I also went to the chiropractor which could have helped as well. Now 2 years later I came back for an Achilles heel issue. After 2 treatments I am already feeling better. The atmosphere is clean and quiet. Victoria is a miracle worker! I started seeing her about a year ago because of some acute back pain and dyshidrotic eczema. She gave me herbs for the eczema. I'd used them before, so I knew the drill. They taste awful, but it's worth it. They were amazing and just cleared the eczema right up. I've tried western medicine with so many types of topical steroids, but nothing worked. My back pain took a little longer. We did some electric stimulation and that really got to the bottom of it. I've also seen Victoria for a case of Bell's palsy I had earlier this year. After some aggressive treatment with acupuncture and herbs, I was good after one month!! Just recently, I started going back to see Victoria for some body pain from working out. I tweaked my trapezius muscle, and it sent a pain up my neck. We did acupuncture and cupping. Cupping can seem unsightly, but it felt like a deep tissue massage in a fraction of the time. I felt a little like Michael Phelps. Hah! I could easily move after one treatment. This review is for Dr. Eugenie. I had severe back pain during my first pregnancy. So after checking about lot of chiropractors online we found Dr Eugenie who is certified in treating pregnant patients with respect to chiropractic needs. I went to her, she listened to my issues carefully and gave the treatment. After my second sitting I felt better but did followup for three more times to make sure my back is alligned properly throughout my pregnancy. During my second pregnancy, I had pecular pelvic pain which my ob said is normal but I couldnt bear the pain. I cannot lie down to sleep. I was sitting and sleeping almost a month. As Dr Eugenie doesnt accept insurance I searched for insurance covered chiropractor but I couldnt find anyone in treating specifically pregnant patients. Still went to insurance covered chiropractor but that doctor treatment only made my pain worse. So then without any second thought I searched for Dr Eugenie again who was now working with numo acupuncture. The atmosphere in numo acupuncture felt good. This time also she listened carefully and gave the right treatment. After the first sitting itself I felt a lot better and was able to lie down to sleep. We highly recommend Jonathan if you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly acupuncturist. My husband and I recently got into a car accident. Luckily, nothing major happened only a slight pain in the back of my neck and lower back pain for my husband. Jonathan did cupping and acupuncture for both of us. So I thought I had a UTI because I had all the UTI symptoms. I got the antibiotics per doctor's orders but the test results returned as negative later. So I went to see Victoria and she treated me for constipation because she knows I have a history of it when I'm stressed. I've been a client of Numo accupuncture for about 2 years now. Faye is my go to person period. I had facial nerve pain that no dentist or neurologist or an X-ray could figure out. I was on gabapentin, had 2 unnecessary root canals which did not make the ache go away and even steroids that was ongoing for about 6 months. I can't describe in words how awesome this place is. I have a neck weakness that's been bothering me since over 10 years- Ie if I drive long distances or sit too long on computers it used to start feeling sore and weak that I needed to lie down for a bit. Few years later after pregnancy I started having random pains lo over my body . I had an acupuncture appointment with Faye. I was not expecting to receive an acupuncture needle on the bottom of my foot. It changed my life. I have nerve damage and have not been able to run for years since. Faye worked on me, she was seemingly in a rush that day and felt to me like she was going through the motions without being mindful. After she put the needle in I screamed outloud it hurt and I later learned it hit a nerve. When this happened she said be quiet, as not to disturb other people in the room. After I spoke to her about it days later she said the needles are so thin they cannot cause nerve damage. Not true, I spoke to my doctor and had an MRI and in the exact point where they put the needle resulted in scar tissue, and nerve damage. I no longer run, it has progressively got worse over the years since this appointment and difficult to stand for very long. Before you get acupuncture please know there are risks it can injure nerves, especially in tender places like on the bottom of the feet. I do not recommend this place. read more

Dad had gout and was in extreme pain after being discharged from the hospital. Called and they were able to accommodate for an appointment. They don't accept insurance but the pricing is average at $60. There's no private rooms, just a communal in the back w/ reclining seats and heaters per patient. The gentleman inserted needles to my dad's hand and had him walk around. After speaking up a few times, he added a few to his leg/feet. They were nice to include some tips on herbal supplements along w/ do's and don'ts for his condition. Dad experienced a slight relief but it's wasn't a whole lot. I have never been a believer in holistic treatments, but now I am 100% all in. I have always been prone to terrible migraines but I will only have an episode once every month. However, the frequency of my migraines increased to three-four times a week since last fall. The migraines would get really bad at times and I had to take time off work. I have tried many different prescriptions, visited my physician many times, met with an ENT, and consulted with multiple neurologists. There answer was to prescribe me anti-depressants and various prescription meds to take away the pain. I didn't like how I felt when I took the anti-depressants and the pain medications were not as effective after awhile. I was desperate to take away the pain, so I decided to try out acupuncture. This has changed my physical, mental, and emotional well-being! Victoria has been treating me once a week since November. I am happy to say that my migraines have decreased significantly and when I do have a migraine, the pain is not has bad. During each treatment, I can actually feel the energy or flow throughout my body. This sounds unbelievable but I really do feel something between the pressure points from the needle. One treatment will take away a current migraine immediately, so I know it does something! About a month ago, Victoria told me that I can now come in once or twice week for maintenance since my migraines are not as frequent.
