What a great deal of food, I missed getting a quick to go lunch at Asian food courts at a reasonable price and we had business to attend around this plaza so we checked out the food court. This place had the most options I feel worth trying. They have a three item combo for $10 (includes tax) and drinks for $1.50. For very large meals, it was only $23. The combo comes with a side of noodles (chow fun, vermicelli, chow mein) or white rice, and they pack it high! The items range from vegetables (however they are touching nearby meat dishes so be careful if you are strictly vegetarian), pork, chicken, fish/shrimp, and beef. We chose chow fun, white rice, fried fish fillets, orange chicken, spicy chicken, fried chicken leg, braised pork stew, and teriyaki chicken. We also got two Diet cokes. The fried fish was crunchy, it was a little pink but didn't taste fishy. I enjoyed the fried chicken leg, parts of it were too hard to chew (edges). Teriyaki chicken and spicy chicken was the best, tender and flavorful, even my toddler loved the teriyaki chicken. Braised Pork stew was good, boiled egg missed with rice was delicious but u ordered the fatty pieces of pork as the lean ones were too tough. Chow fun was a little burnt but still good. Orange chicken was ok, soggy but the sauce was great! Overall, I would come back!

This place packs it on. $10 each 3 item combo and its really stackked. Hidden inside the square supermarket, 3 combos can fill 4 adults really good value and taste pretty good. Pending on the day of the week parking can be kind of tricky. The staff is super nice, I kept asking for tiny things like a small bowl, a straw, a fork and spoon. No complaints just gave it to me. Absolutely stopping by again

3 item combo. 1/2 rice 1/2 chow fun, wings, stewed pork w hard boiled egg, mapo tofu.

Cheap combo plates! $7.50 for 1 item, $9 for 2 items, $10 for three items-- all with choice of rice or noodles or mixed. There are about 10 items to choose from. The wife piles it on and even needs a rubber band to close my 3 item plate. Food is good. I liked the chow fun noodles. The tofu had that herbal taste that I personally am not a fan. The wings were great! They are sweet. The stewed pork belly needed a little more flavor. Subtracted a star because she didn't want to give me chop sticks. Husband had bag, napkin, fork and chopstick ready but she looked at me and decided I didn't need chopsticks!! I'm 100% Asian but I only speak English.

    2 item combo for $9 (7/23/25)

For $7.50, you can get a one item combo, $9 - two, and $10 - three items! These prices are worth the portion and the taste. The chicken wings were sweet and the pork was tender. The egg was a nice addition to the noodles. Service is really fast and they know how to take orders well. It's the first stall on the left in the food court. Parking: A LOT because in a market plaza

Fried Chicken with rice... sorry, took a snapshot after it was already broken into LOL

My Mom and I usually eat lunch at the food court inside next to Great Wall (GW) Supermarket at The Square shopping center in Rosemead on the weekends unless we have a prior arrangement with my brothers to eat elsewhere in the San Gabriel Valley area. Wow... that was a very long sentence... did you take a breather? LOL Anyway, we were at the food court again this past Saturday. We normally get our foods from Golden Bull Noodle, but my Mom wanted to change it up a bit so she went to Nuoc Mia Vien Dong and got herself a Fried Chicken Rice for $6.50 (1 item plate)... such a great price! I have to say... it was a very big drumstick and very tasty & delicious indeed. Skin was crispy and dark meat was surprisingly moist. I enjoyed it very much! (my Mom shared some of her chicken with me if you're wondering... thank you Mom!) We will return for more of that scrumptiousness! They have other good food item selections... pick 1 or 2 or 3 items for a very decent price... I would eat here over Panda Express any day! I didn't order from here this time around, but I have tried their Bun Rieu in the past and it didn't disappoint. Of course, they don't beat Com Tam Kieu's Bun Rieu (my favorite), but you can't expect too much from here especially when you're paying half the price compared to other main restaurant chain prices. Consider them as cheap eats, but not cheap in a way that is negative, but cheap in a way that is the best bang for your buck! By the way, I ended up getting the Dumpling Egg Noodle Soup from Harlem's Kitchen (another favorite of ours at this food court). Staff is usually pleasant. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are huge. Taste and flavors are fantastic. If you're curious and want to try them out, drop on by! We'll see you here... maybe we'll be sitting at the same table LOL. Happy Good Eating! P.S. I didn't get a chance to take more pictures, but will get them next time. Also, after reading some reviews, this place used to sell sugar cane (nuoc mia = sugar cane in Vietnamese) drinks. I love sugar cane especially with a squeeze of kumquat... please bring it back one day! Thank you in advance!

Good casual cheap meal. Come here instead of panda ok! Lady there is nice and quick. Can be a bit of a challenge if you don't speak viet, but pointing definitely works - ordering is pretty straightforward. The husband has been coming here since he was young for the sugarcane. But they stopped selling sugarcane a couple years ago. Sad, it's fresh and at a good price. The name is nuoc mia but they don't sell nuoc mia!

This place is cheap and tasty. A one item combo only costs 6.50 and the portion is perfect for lunch. The noodles were soft and flavorful, on the thicker side which i prefer. The chicken was not overly salty, perfectly seasoned. I'm so grateful that we have options like these when everything is so incredibly expensive. Definitely coming back here again to try their other items.

Cheap Eats!!! I'm at Nuoc Mia Vien Dong at the Square food court in Rosemead. Honestly I just learned the name for yelping reasons but I've been coming to lil stand for years. This mom and pop shop has really tasty to go fast food for the lowest prices around. There's always a great selection of items to choose from. Today I got the 3 item combo for only 8 dollars and bun rieu for 7 dollars. Also cash only!

3 item combo for $6! Chowmein w/ eggplant tofu, curry chicken, and bittermelon soup. Already ate some noodles hehe..

If you're looking for fast casual chinese/vietnamese takeout, come here and support!! Prices are seriously unbeatable. Arrive earlier during the day so you get food that's at its peak freshness. The food is good for the price, and some of the selections are tastier than you might expect from a hole-in-the-wall supermarket eatery. Bring cash. You can get their 1-, 2-, or 3 item combos, but i'd say just get the 3 item combo because it's only $6 and can probably feed two. Then again, their portions for everything are huge.. Soo worth it! My family loves getting the giant fried chicken legs and curry chicken because they're both juicy and seasoned well. Their chow mein is good. I also recommend their bun rieu!! It's only $6 as well and one of their most popular dishes - the broth is very tomato-y, shrimp paste-y, and flavorful; it has tofu as well as minced crab(?)/pork pieces. Will be back to try their bun bo hue and sugarcane juice when they're back on the menu!

Bun Rieu and 2 item combo. $11ish!!

So I love supporting real mom and pops like this. These are those OG, no frills, small mom and pop shops that made SGV Chinese food famous. Good, cheap and fast. I have to say it was really nice not to spend $50-$80 for a meal especially during a pandemic when some of us is not working as much also. Look at what I got for $11/$12ish total! They have an extended menu and then some pick up deli style items. I was really impressed with the Bun Rieu portions with plenty of crab meat. I been paying $12-$15 for less at other places. It's not gourmet Michelin fancy food but it's that simple comfort Asian food that is still good and an amazing value. Shops like these remind me of our parents who work 7 days a week for 12hrs a day to support our immigrant families. Let's make sure we support places like this to ensure they survive. Amazing deal for a quick meal! Killed the Bun Rieu. Will be going back for more and to try some others.

I've haven't been to this plaza's food court in a long while. This review is based on the tomato broth Vietnamese Bun Rieu noodles only. I saw a post on FB's SGV eats and I knew I had to come try right away. It's not fancy like Nha Trang's Bun Rieu, but I love how their noodles is soft/slippery! I thought I was gonna eat only half and I end up eating the whole thing and fell into a food coma nap after! The broth is tasty with meaty crab meats and lots of tomatoes. The only thing that's missing is the shrimp paste taste and more tofu, it can definitely use more of it so I think my batch didn't have enough. Anyhoo, I will be back since at $6 (cash only) is so delicious and affordable! Yummy!

Three item combo. Say no to Panda Express.
    Chris P. B.

Look at how much food they give you for $9.00. For $9.00, Panda Express doesn't give you 1/2 of the food they give you here. This place has been around forever. The food tastes great. Situated inside a food court. Cash only I believe. The owner is nice. Panda Express, take notes.

Love this place! They offer unbeatable prices on their party trays, making it the perfect choice for budget-conscious hosts.

The broth is perfectly seasoned and really ties the whole bowl together. I always ask to skip the blood cubes and opt for extra pig's feet instead, which they handle perfectly. That's right, 5 minutes. Although I did go around 9:50AM so there wasn't a line nor another party in the dining area. Food: I woke up craving Vietnamese and this place didn't disappoint. The Bon Rieu had the depth of flavor that I crave. Honestly, I judge most Vietnamese pho restaurants by their Bon Rieu because some places simply use seafood powder in their stock to fake it. What results is a very thinly flavored broth that has very little umami. Bon Rieu should have THE MOST umami of any soup dish because of its tomato and crab base. That's how you can tell if a place is cutting corners. The Nem Cuom is huge and the dipping sauce is generous. The House Special Tea is reminiscent of a passion fruit green tea from a boba place. Sweetened just enough to not be saccharine. Ambiance: Quite small. I believe one of their main issues may be parking during peak hours as it shares a tiny parking lot with many other businesses. HOWEVER, neighborhood parking is plentiful and just around the corner past the Sheridan Hotel and Starbucks. Round the corner and you'll find plenty of parking throughout the day.

New Location, Same Curiosity!…read more Decided to give this newer location a try since our first visit to Golden Delight was years ago. I wanted to try their rice noodle soup with a mix of egg noodles and rice noodles, and let me just say... the picture speaks a thousand words. What arrived looked quite different from what was advertised on the menu. Although most of the ingredients were there, it definitely wasn't as pretty or as generously presented as the photos. Rice Noodle Soup (Egg Noodles + Rice Noodles Mixed) Rating: 6.8/10 The soup itself actually wasn't bad! The broth was light, clean, and nicely seasoned without being too heavy. While I enjoyed trying something different, it isn't a dish I'd order again on my next visit. Now let me warn you about their sauté sauce... It is PACKED with flavor but also seriously spicy! I made the mistake of adding a little too much to my noodle soup, and let's just say my taste buds definitely woke up. A little goes a long way, so add it slowly! The restaurant itself is very modern, clean, and has a trendy fusion vibe that makes for a nice dining experience. As much as I appreciate the updated atmosphere, I always find myself gravitating back toward the more traditional, authentic-style Vietnamese restaurants when I'm craving comfort food. Service Unfortunately, the service on our Sunday visit was probably the biggest downside. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and didn't seem interested in explaining the menu when we had a few questions. Instead, she came across as if she was in a rush the entire time, and her overall attitude felt a bit off-putting. It honestly made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by asking questions. Great service can really elevate a meal, and unfortunately, this experience did the opposite. Between that and the food, it's another reason I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return to this location. Overall, it was a nice spot to try once, but next time I'll probably explore a different dish--and maybe a different location. Happy eats!

We both thought the soup was seasoned perfectly and was flavorful. ---------------------------------- (Total= $28.71 after tax, prior to tip) Service was friendly but minimal. Overall, we had a good dining experience and I would come here again.

Golden Deli has been my favorite restaurant in the SGV for years. It's a small family run…read moreVietnamese restaurant that's been around since the '80s, and it's easy to see why it's always busy. If you're in the SGV or surrounding areas this place is a must try!!! The restaurant is small but busy, it's lined with booths and shared tables. Nothing fancy, the food is the reason why people come. The staff is friendly, fast and keeps everything running smoothly. The menu is huge, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I've never had a bad meal here. My favorites are the pork chop over rice, the beef banh mi and tom thit kho with dry egg noodles and broth on the side. Everyone loves the pho here but I haven't gotten around to trying it. The crispy egg rolls pair well with everything. Make sure to wrap them in lettuce and dip them in nuoc cham and you'll see why they're a must try. No reservations so expect a wait. Get there early to avoid the long line. They're open everyday from 10am to 8pm, except Wednesdays. Parking in the shopping center can be tough but there is plenty of street parking nearby. They have a second location in Temple City but I'd stick to the OG San Gabriel location. Try Golden Deli for amazing Vietnamese food at a reasonable price.

Im no expert on Vietnamese food, but the egg rolls here can't be beaten. Super crispy outside,…read moregenerously filled and paired with a delicious dipping sauce I was hooked instantly. The pork chop didn't disappoint either. Also super crispy, but tender and juicy. It was plated over white rice and cucumbers which brought the whole dish together beautifully. The Pho was good, but the broth was milder than I expected. Definitely not the best I've had. Servers were laidback and friendly. They helped me narrow down my options because I was overwhelmed by the menu size. I'll be back for more.
