I have been trying to reach someone there for months for a full refund on a tow that never happened because the company decided they were unable to execute the drop before even coming out to the site. I've left Jaimie Conrad, Dispatch Manager several voicemails, emails, and she continues to evade me. They stole my money and now refuse to talk with me. I have never had such disrespect from a company. Your customers want to talk, you talk. The least you could do is tell me to my face that you are gonna steal in the name of your business. I would never recommend them to bring your car across the street they make you sign a bunch of papers so you don't dispute the card because they know they're scam companies and that's the only way to cover their ass. They said they towed my vehicle with two tow trucks, but no such a thing cause I do asphalt paving and asphalt was all over the hitch. If they disconnected the hitch, the asphalt wouldn't of been sitting on top. I had used some BS App that "guaranteed a 60 minute tow" for $322.16. Since it was for my Harley I paid it, they sent OHare Towing. If you want a very legit and real tow truck thats a real brick and mortar company skip the crooked App Companys and just contact OHare Towing. The driver Kirk arrived with his flatbed and even had the required equipment for a safe motorcycle tow. Davis Janis: a Good Samaritan in my time of need! This employee had shortly gotten out of his workday & was heading home... still in O'Hare uniform from his laborious workday... I had just gone through a green light & was hit head-on by a young driver from oncoming traffic trying to make a left turn - clearly poor timing & lack of obeying right of way!!! My airbag deployed, my front end was gone & my car was in the middle of the 4 way intersection at 6:45 PM on a busy Thursday evening. I was completely disoriented & confused. After I got out of my car, I noticed two cars voluntarily "blocked" my car in to ensure I would not be hit by any further vehicles. This man in a white vehicle & an O'Hare uniform was directing traffic to ensure that everyone stopped. As we all waited for the police & ambulance to come, Dave helped me gather my focus to the next steps needed, as I was clearly shaken & confused. He helped me with my license & insurance. Dave talked me through the next steps of what would happen. He offered to speak with officers to inform them of the situation. I am forever grateful for his selfless actions!!! read more

They made it extremely difficult to retrieve my belongings from my vehicle after an accident. Extremely rude and disrespectful at the window, zero professionalism. Insurance company had to call in order for them to release my belongings, even though they said someone had to physically sign an anti-dump clause, even though that was not the case. The phone call from the insurance company was not given as an option. I also received a letter from them (ohare) stating that my vehicle would be actioned off. Once I was allowed in the yard, I started my vehicle with my own key and the odometer read "Done" meaning someone placed a scanner on the plug and the radio was full blast which was not like that beforehand. Worst service possible! My driver asked for service on a fifth wheel when he was on a trip. The mechanic that was dispatched from this comany had no idea what to do. He was not a mechanic... He immediately requested to tow the truck and that the lock cylinder was broken. This was completely false and I had another driver come out and fix the issue with the fifth wheel in about 30 minutes. All parts were good, just a build up of rust that needed to be loosened with some WD-40 and a hammer. I then received an invoice and was charged $465. I was told that they have a min charge of $165, which I agreed to, but this invoice was obviously excessive. After several attempts at contacting the corporate office to resolve the issue, I was forwarded to the managers voice mail several times. Growing up, my family arrived for most everything inappropriately early. Sunday mass: Often, my mom, sister and I arrived so early we beat the grandma set to the pews. And, it's not like my overzealous, overanxious mother was vying for front row seating, oh no. All this early rising just to sit in the back? WTH! Sorry, I shouldn't swear - we are talking about church. Other tacky displays of premature timing? Let's dish on wedding receptions. Nothing like showing up at 6pm on the dot, waiting for the venue's doors to open (not to mention beating the family there!) while catching loaded eyefuls of stink. Way more embarrassing than the time I peed my pants in first grade... WAY! The reasoning behind my mom's madness is that she truly believes we're always one traffic jam, one wrong turn, one flat tire away from being late (a mortal yet completely avoidable sin in her when-it's-convenient devout book of Catholicism). And her ways have rubbed off on her eldest child (me!) because lateness is a big pet peeve of mine. No, I'm not an irrationally early arriver but I make it a point to be on time, in life. So when planning my departure time for an event this evening, my schedule of deduction looked something like this: - Event starts at 7:30/need to be there at 6:45. - I'll take 94... no never mind, rush hour traffic. Let's take the streets. - I need an hour, but just in case... yeah, I'll leave at 5:30. - That means downstairs by 5:20 to get my car out of valet. So it goes. Everything was running according to plan until I felt my front left tire dragging, and making "that" noise (you know the one). My colleague and passenger, Johnny T, suggested it may be the street itself but I knew: I had a flat. We pulled over on a residential street and grabbed our phones to bring up the Yelp app (in tandem, natch) and started making calls. After finally getting through to someone (hello, Pep Boys!), they jotted down my information, location and charged my credit card to the tune of $68 to dispatch someone to change my tire. I was quoted 45 minutes, but the black Rodeo arrived only 20 minutes later. Jay worked quickly to remove my ill-fated tire and put on my spare with ease as we watched on... I meant to memorize every step for future reference but i was too busy thinking about how I was going to tip him without any cash on me (a bottle of sangria worked in a pinch) to retain anything. Jay even brought out his portable tire inflating mechanism to fill my tire to the correct tire pressure. HERO! I ended up arriving to my event only 12 minutes late... amazing, yes? Lesson learned: Always carry Albright's Road Service business cards and travel with men sporting rough hands. You know, I'm not sure how to compare one towing service to another, but I have nothing but positive things to say about O'Hare. My car died and I was unable to troubleshoot it myself or with the help of my mechanic over the phone. I called O'Hare towing and within an hour they were at my front door. The individual towing the car took great care to carefully pull my car onto the bed of the vehicle and from there, quickly towed the car to my preferred mechanic (8 miles away!) for a reasonable price. The worst experience I've ever had with a towing company. Driver Diante dispatched to meet my driver (I broker freight) and when he got there picked up a vehicle and the keys somehow got locked in the vehicle while on his trailer. When my driver then couldn't receive the vehicle Diante demanded to be paid $150 no matter what taking absolutely no part in the reason why the vehicle was locked. He then left the location with the Third-party's vehicle and impounded it. He personally cost me around $500. Not to mention damage to my relationship with my customer. I would highly recommend not using this company they are shady people that do shady things. This whole situation could've been resolved if O'hare Just said yeah there's an issue do you think we can solve this? Instead they demanded money and then impounded the vehicle. Worst tow company I have ever dealt with. Tow was a Range Rover road side assistance call. This company is contracted by Range Rover yet had no clue how to even jump the vehicle, and almost shorted the electrical system. Driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was about to drag my car up the flat bad which damages AWD vehicles, I had to call Road Side back and explain to them they were about to destroy my truck. An O'hare manager showed up with "skates", driver refused to use all 4 and still dragged my truck without skates on the front against my request not too. The dealership even commented on how rude the driver. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I found they had damaged ALL 4 of my wheels. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! If you have a Road Side Assistance need, demand they do not send O'hare Towing, unless you want more problems. read more

I contracted with O'Hare Towing through my insurance company roadside assistance. O'Hare Towing indicated to the insurance company that the car had been picked up without showing up. When I called their dispatch, I was told that they could not provide an ETA. After a 5 hour wait, I cancelled the tow request. The O'Hare Towing drive showed up 8 hours after the initial request for a tow, 3 hours after the call had been cancelled. read more

Avoid like the plague! I requested help in the middle of the night for a trailer with a bent axle. That went fine. However they said they'd call me with a total before charging anything. Never did that and never gave me a receipt, just 9 miles and $2200 later I saw on my bank statement. It had a load on it that they wouldn't let me transfer to another trailer myself and charged another 1200 for that. The trailer was supposed to be repaired there and it's now been a month and a half. Haven't even received a quote let alone made any progress with the actual repairs. Any time I call no one knows anything and they say they'll "send a message" to service. One guy lied and said he was at a completely different branch and couldn't help, but there he was at his desk when I walked in 20 mins later. I'll spare the details on my visits to the office. So, while they do God knows what in their office and essentially hold my equipment hostage, I'm losing out on weeks of revenue without any estimate of a finished trailer. read more

We blew a tire at around midnight and about 12 mi away from home. We tried for quite a while to get the bad tire off without success. I tried every "24/7" tow company I could google, none of which could help or had trucks out (wth?) My last call before giving up was O'Hare. The guy who answered was super nice and said someone would be there within the hour. They delivered on that promise. I wish I had gotten the drivers name, because he was great. He also tried to get the tire changed for us (in the cold and rain) but the tire was seized on. He towed our car to a shop nearby our house so that we could get it fixed up in the morning. We were just going to call an Uber home because we live maybe 3 minutes away but when he realized we were about to just wait there he offered us a ride home since it was on his way back anyways. I am so grateful for his respect and courtesy in a stressful situation. If I ever need a tow again this will be the first place I call. read more
