Fantastic authentic Italian Pizza. We travel from Melbourne, FL just to eat pizza here - the only place we would enjoy pizza in the region. From the running footage of Italian streets on the big screen to the massive angel floating above the diners. You become fully immersed in the ambiance. Make sure to get the stuffed crust with ricotta cheese and add some spicy salami to the pie. You will not be disappointed with any choice. When you enter, you feel like you might be in some sort of Neapolitan theme park, but this is most definitely not a tourist place with mediocre pies. I don't have much to say other than it's probably the best Neapolitan pizza this side of the bay, with only one true competitor on the beach (La Leggenda). The crust, the tomatoes, the cheese are all perfect and it's as authentic as it gets, bringing me back to my trips to Naples over the past decade. This place was a great surprise! Little that I know, an award winner pizza chef was in charge of making the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever tried in Miami. Lorenzo, the manager was super explicit sharing with us they only use 100% Italian ingredients and that the pizza dough has to pass a certain treatment before even get close to the oven. Every ingredient is fresh, resulting in a super light and delicious pie. Definitely will come back for more of this traditional Neapolitan restaurant. P.S. The most rude establishment we have been and I am ashamed they are fellow Italians. We dined on a Saturday night and one hour into our dinner (30 minutes to be served) the owner and the crew asked us to finish in 20 minutes because the had to sit other guest! Definitley one of the better italian style pizzas I myself have tried , being from Miami. One of my favorite items off the menu is the eggplant parmesan, with only two complaints on it: i wish the portion was heftier and if they held back on the grease I wouldnt feel so guilty ordering it. I guess the same could be said about the pizza pies. I tried a few and they all were consistently really good but also on the smaller side and a tad greasier than i would like. All-in-all i really enjoy coming here both for the food but also for the ambiance of the place itself. A new site just opened on Coral Way and 23 Ave and we arrived as they were closing. The owner greeted us not realizing it was 10 pm closing time. We were still able to order take out pizza and salad. The Caprese pizzas were delicious. So was the spinach salad. And they make their own panettone. We bought a chocolate chip one and it was very good very fresh. The food was delicious. However when I visited O'Munaciello on Friday night November 3, 2023 I was met with bad service. At first we were shown a table and were asked for our food and drink order - I am usually one to order a wine/ beer however since this was pizza I was went with a coke and so did my fiancée. As soon as the waiter heard coke his attitude changed as if he were mad about us not ordering a wine/beer. As said, the food was delicious. Then when it came time to ask for the check the waiter was no where to be seen. I had to ask twice for the check and the waiter was rude and said "yes, I will get to it I need to clean up the table first." Then finally after the check arrived gratuity was already included at 18% for a two person party. I have seen this for parties of 6 people or more but since we were two I was surprised the waiter included the gratuity with the check - don't know if this is common practice at 18%. I wanted to tip based on the service I had experienced and since it was not great service the 18% was not warranted. In the end, I paid the suggested tip but I think they did it on purpose since I had not ordered a bottle of wine. I would go back but only for takeout. read more

This is second visit to what has been touted as authentic pizza from Naples. Sister restaurant in Florence. The pizza looks fantastic and has a flavorful chewy dough with a wood burning oven aftertaste. I found it a bit too chewy, but J liked it. The Margarita was a bit too watery from the tomatoes and the cheese wasn't even...like clumps of cheese that come apart. Strange. Flavor was good not great. We ordered a Metro which is a beautiful large rectangle. Toppings were supposed to be porcini, smoked buffalo mozzarella and truffle. The black truffle was from a jar. Hard, chewy and bitter. The mushrooms were not prepared well and lacked flavor as did the cheese. No level of salt. Bland. Disappointing. The Carbonara also needed salt and fresh cracked black pepper. It was quite flat in taste but the added salt and pepper helped. Pasta was al dente which was nice but overall not a very good dish. Way too much olive oil as well. Nice Chianti by the glass. I'm sure you can find a pizza with delicious toppings that you like, but this visit was average and quite disappointing. Not sure I will return for a 3rd try but for some reason I am compelled to believe I might. Lol. read more

Went there for happy hour, the server said no happy hour on Fridays. Some of the seats had holes in the seats. Stayed there 10 minutes and left. The server had an attitude. I've been trying to visit this restaurant from a long time ago and I finally did it on a Friday night. Came in very hungry with my husband to try its pasta and it unfortunately came undercooked :( I never send back food but I couldn't eat it so I kindly asked the waiter if she could ask the chef. She did in a friendly way but allegeding that the pasta was not undercooked, it was "too" al dente. I was like, what? It's ok, it's a mistake and it has a solution... you don't have to say that as if I'd never tried pasta in my life. The chef apologized and kindly prepared almost in front us the same order and it was very good. He also sent an appetizer which was very tasty and a good gesture coming from him. Betty was a very nice waitress! The calamari was lightly battered and tasted very good. We asked for sangria and she made us a fresh batch!! The black crust pizza is made with charcoal which was very interesting and we got the Maradona which was spicy and soooo good! The other pizza we got didn't have tomato sauce and was the San Daniele. The tiramisu was ok, I think that they need to let the lady fingers soak a bit more because they were a little crispy. Overall... so happy we found this place in the MIMO district!
