    The add in their window.

You know what could improve my thoughts on O'Reilly? They can start by knowing what their adds say and honoring what the add says. The add says "Buy a pair of brake rotors and get one set of brake pads free. Sounds like a pretty good deal right. Instead, I made the purchase of two rotors online this morning. This afternoon I go to pick up my order. No brake pads. They tell me that I needed to purchase the brake pads with the rotors and then when I picked it up they would back out the cost of the rotors. I told them that's not what the add says. They say well that's the way it works. I showed him the add and they have the add in their window. Anyway, long story shorter. No sale for them. Never again. Plain and simple false advertising. I realize the way they wanted me to do it is the same deal but it's the principle. They wanted me to do a return with a refund then make the purchase again with the pads. Total BS ! No more business from me.

I recommend my brother to go to this location because it was closer to home but after the experience he just went through i would never walk into this store again the man working there just made him and my self feel really uncomfortable he basically followed him around the store and when I met with my brother in the car he kept staring at us thru the window I asked my brother what was going on he told me what happened Inside so he goes and asks if something is wrong and the man tells him I dont know you tell me so my brother goes back to the car and again the man comes to the front windows and keeps staring at us until I pull out my phone and he walks away

A very well stocked auto parts store! Lately, the auto parts stores I've been going into have very scattered shelves, which I understand due to the supply chain issues, but when I came in here, they had everything!! Located in the Park Street Landing Shopping Center, right next to the Park Street Bridge in Alameda, the shelves were completely full! I came here for some car wash supplies and other items, they had everything that I needed. Good auto parts store!!

Prices are competitive with Amazon and the staff herr always very helpful. Although I never go here for Auto Parts, I just go here for wash stuff and things to glam up my Benzo!

3/26/22 If you are following my travels, you might have figured that I leave some of my cars sitting too long. Well, for my classic (old) car, I would have to recharge the battery overnight every time I come home from my extensive travels. A friend suggested I go to O'Reilly to test my battery, starter, and alternator. Quality/Quantity - Excellent. Atmosphere - Easy parking. 3 entrances and exits into the mall. Service - 6 stars, Alex was very professional, friendly, and welcoming. He complimented my car. Checked our battery, starter, and alternator which all turned out good. Gave us good suggestions for the maintenance of our car, and even recommended competitors because they share similar prices. We will be a loyal customer as long as you have team members like Alex! Other Free Services: wiper blade installation, check engine light testing, loaner tool program, used oil & battery recycling, light bulb installation, etc. Additionally, they have a loyalty program. Their website has good and basic "how to" tutorials. Free shipping on orders $35+ Price - Free; forced Alex to take my tip!! He is so professional. The prices for merchandise are slightly higher than competitors, but how can you put a price on excellent service? Owner Suggestion - Congrats on all your success since 1957; Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500. You guys have done a GREAT job with your service program!! 1993 IPO. 2021 = 5600 stores in 47 states.

Visited yesterday and the store was pretty crowded. Had some corrosion on my battery. Victor helped us out immediately. He was PROFESSIONAL, Knowles durable and friendly. Gave me the pricing of the new batteries but decided to check my battery and discovered my battery was still good. Gave me some recommendations on what to do and I was on the way. Great service. First time here and I would definitely recommend and come back for outstanding customer service.

So many auto parts stores reply 'we don't accept oil right now - all our tanks are full' - and I've never heard that from this location. Its very simple - you drop it off in their original containers and it has to be only oil and there is no issue. Beyond that I went in for some diesel additives for my CDi - I really like that car - it replaced my Pitzaaat and its my freeway cruiser and I know the engine will last to one million miles but the downfall of these cars is always the injection system. It can cost $5k+ to rebuild them and then $3k more for all new fuel hoses and injectors and intake cleaning and so on. In short the low sulfur since 2006 that ruined diesel lubricity and so the wear on the injection pump mostly fails at 200k - 300k when all the rest of the drive train will happily soldier on for many more miles. The only solution is to add something to the diesel fuel: XPD all in one, Hotshots secret everyday or Power Service or similar. I heard even adding a bit of Marvel Myster Oil works but I didn't see the data - I know the above three work and I know that this location has Hotshots and Power Service. I bought a bottle of each and will alternate with ever fill up. While I was there I bought some LiqiMoly for my Honda - Jectron - and while it was in the tank the car ran silly smooth - it usually jitters a little like a person with too much caffeine. Oil brands can be a very divisive topic. As is oil additives. I think in general you don't need them if you go to Chevron and change your oil often. If you have a diesel I would recommend you research the fuel lubricity topic yourself and make your own call on it. If you do buy a new $100k diesel truck - there is a lot at stake that perhaps a $10 bottle could help.
