There is easy parking in the lower level garage which can feel a little unsafe at times, so if you can snag a spot on the street it might be better. Another yelper reported the O'Reilly in the East Bay will install your new wiper blades after purchase. As far as I know this service is not available in SF, but we have Professor YouTube to help with that.

They Took My Money, That's About It I purchased brake pads online, received a confirmation number, an invoice, pickup instructions, and was charged $66.44. The money was removed from my account. I have the receipt. I have the barcode. I have the order number. I even have the return instructions listed at the bottom. Turns out I didn't need the brake pads anymore. No problem, right? I figured I'd simply pick them up and immediately return them. Wrong. When I went to the store, the assistant manager refused to give me the part. He said the order was "processing" and "on hold" and then proceeded to say that we never bought it -- despite me showing the confirmation number, invoice, barcode, and proof that the money was already taken from my bank account. His response? "Yeah, that doesn't mean anything. You need to speak to a store manager." Professional Money Collectors, Amateur Problem Solvers I'm sorry... what? Since when does picking up and returning an item require a STORE MANAGER? What kind of business model makes a basic pickup and return so complicated that management needs to be summoned like we're authorizing a merger? And the best part? It was the ASSISTANT MANAGER giving us a hard time. So let me get this straight: You took my money. You confirmed my order. You sent pickup instructions. But now I can't get the item, and I also can't return it -- unless the store manager personally blesses the transaction? Should I bring the CEO next time? Do y'all need my Social Security number too? Should I file paperwork with the federal government? Get a presidential pardon before I'm allowed to process a refund? At this point we paid for brake pads we weren't allowed to receive and weren't allowed to return. That's not a "processing delay." That's absurd. If an assistant manager cannot handle a basic pickup and return with clear documentation and payment confirmation, that raises serious questions about competency and training. We walked out without the part and without our money. That's not customer service -- that's a circus. Fix your systems. Train your staff. Found out I needed to check my coolant. Found the nearest auto place to me to avoid any damage due to prolonged driving. The staff were helpful and friendly. As I was purchasing the coolant they advised me to wait at least thirty minutes as a safety measure for the car to cook down and the coolant not explode from the combustion. A nearby Pupusas restaurant was recommended. How timely considering I hadn't eaten. I seem to be notorious for leaving the house on an empty stomach or having very little before leaving home. Anyhoo, Josiah an associate walked me to the Pupusa which was very close but I wasn't too familiar with the area. I ate, returned to the store and Josiah put the coolant in for me. O' Reilly used to be Kragen. there's a good sized parking lot here…read more post 6 p.m. couple of people in line for service . 2 other people at the counter getting advice on what parts to buy. buys: windshield wipers (20" & 22", 8.99, 9.99) -initially got "rainy days" which were a few $$ cheaper -asked "they're all the same, right?" -cashier: "these will only last a month. anco's will last 2 , 3 times longer" -so i switched, paid a few bucks more. notes: -will i remember if this wipers last 2-3 months? probably not -but i would remember if they last only a month -peace of mind is worth a few bucks.

Offering snacks and drinks. They worked well with one another to help me out. If you have less than average credit, don't necessarily be discouraged in coming in to apply. Repeated issues, poor communication, and unreliable service…read more I've been going to Nissan of Hayward for the past two years, and unfortunately most visits have been frustrating. I purchased a used Nissan in 2023 with an extended warranty that is honored by Nissan dealerships, yet this location repeatedly struggled to diagnose issues, handle warranty information correctly, and communicate in a timely manner. I've brought my car in around 6-8 times. I was often told "no issues could be found," only for the same problems to return shortly afterward. Early on, I was charged a diagnostic fee for a battery issue that Nissan couldn't identify, while a third-party mechanic later confirmed the alternator was the cause. Nissan only addressed it after the car had to be towed in again. More recently, I brought the car in for brake noise and Bluetooth/Apple CarPlay issues. While the infotainment problem was acknowledged and eventually covered under warranty, I experienced weeks of inconsistent updates, missed callbacks, and learned that the replacement part had arrived from the Parts Department rather than my service advisor. When I dropped my car off for the scheduled repair, I wasn't told it would be kept over the weekend and only found out late in the day that I wouldn't have it back for several days, causing significant inconvenience. Although a service manager later apologized, there was no follow-up despite multiple attempts to reach out. It's been over 3 months and my issue has still not been resolved. Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistent warranty handling, and repeated service issues have made this dealership difficult to trust. I would not recommend Nissan of Hayward based on my experience.
