During a Saturday shopping trip, my truck started kind of slow. Just in case, we stopped in to this O'Reilly for a battery test. Jim at the counter jumped right on it and sure enough, my battery was bad. They had one in stock and Jim explained how the warranty works. He also explained how I could take it home to change it out and then bring the core back to any store for credit. The level of service I got from Jim was next level. This has been our go-to place for our cars needs since we moved to this area 11 years ago. Hubby and I aren't too knowledgeable about car stuff in general but these guys have always been ready to assist with everything that we have brought up over time. What we really appreciate the most is their free battery testing and installation. This has been our most common issue with all of the cars we've owned and the service team have always been quick to help us select the right battery and install it. This most recent visit though, I've never been more grateful. Our minivan's battery finally died and like second nature, made a visit here after jump starting. We did not know at the time that our minivan's battery was difficult to access due to some kind of a part blocking it from being removed. It was screwed on and the tech at first told us that he could not do the replacement because of this. Hubby was undeterred as we would not be leaving without this critical component taken care of. He looked on YouTube for our specific issue and learned to remove this part himself. Hubby was also ready to do the installation himself but we are grateful that our tech stepped in quickly and did this for us instead. Simply too expensive. Saved $9.00 per 5 quart jug of oil at Walmart. $27.00 savings total on the oil alone for my oil change. That's too significant to ignore. Additionally, recently incorrect part ordered for my vehicle, delaying my repair project yet again. For such high prices I would expect near flawless service. read more

Great customer service! Hubby needed to replace his windshield wiper blades. He had gone to Auto Zone the day before to look for them and was asking the man at the parts counter what size he needed. The man started to help him, but then the manager of the store came up to the guy behind the counter and told him to go and do something outside, which he did, leaving my husband without anyone to wait on him. He waited for about 5 minutes, no one came to help him, so he left. Next day we were in the area of this O'Reilly Auto Parts store so hubby decided to check there for his blades. We saw a sign on the door that said free installation of wiper blades. We didn't have the right vehicle with us but hubby went to see if they had his ones needed, which they did. Austin was our customer service clerk and he had excellent customer service. Greeted us right when we got into the store, asked how he could help us, etc. He found what hubby was looking for, had made some recommendations, and then hubby said we'd be back with the vehicle that needed the new blades. We paid for the blades and then drove home, switched out the vehicles and drove back there. Another clerk helped us this time to install them. I didn't catch his name, but he had the work done in less than a minute I think! We'll be back when we need new blades again. read more

I had an excellent experience at O'Reillys today. I needed new rods that secure the battery in place. It was a problem that needed to be resolved immediately. Evan was the employee at O'Reilly's that installed those rods. He was courteous and professional, and definitely knew his job. We were very thankful that he got the job done correctly and quickly. I have gone here a few times to pick up a few things for our vehicles (cabin air filter, a quart of oil and a few other things). I was recently forced to go here last week for a dead battery that died right before going to work where I had an early morning meeting. Once I arrived, Patrick was there to assist me with my battery. Patrick installed my new battery for me and went way beyond checking and cleaning my cables and even cleaning the battery compartment. We talked a bit about cars because you could tell he had a true passion for his line of work and truly cared. I don't write a lot of reviews on here but I felt compelled here because his work ethic and passion was inspiring. Thanks, Patrick. I have been a great customer for years now! I just recently moved to the area and needed help with a new Battery for me car. I called down to this store and a young lady answered the phone. I asked if she could help me with getting a new battery and she rudely and almost in a yell said " A WHAT" I repeated what I needed and she said " umm hold on" and then put me on hold. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes and then a nice young man picked up the phone and I had to start all over. But he was very polite! Kuddos him! Believe it or not, there is a 1 year warranty on a wheel bearing. Anyway...I brought my axel back for my core charge return of $35. Simple and easy. Also brought back the ruined bearing for a refund, simple and easy. I also brought in my hub that I had to replace as a result of the bearing failing, and guess what...Simple and easy. Great customer service by a young man named Julien. Well done O'Reilly's. this was night and day service difference from the O'Reilly's I had to visit on Cave Creek just south of Greenway. Had the worst service ever. The older gentleman reprimanded me for not knowing enough about my car. He was very rude and not helpful. Even though they are close I will never go there again nor recommend them. read more
