I came here to buy a new car battery. The woman working the counter, Kaileen, showed me several different batteries and helped me select one that fit my needs. I swapped out the car battery, tried to start my car, and started to get nervous when it didn't turn on. I went back inside the store and asked Kaileen if she'd be able to help me. She quickly got a portable car jump starter and went outside to jump start my car. When the portable jump starter she had didn't work, she went and got another one. The second one worked and my car started up. Kaileen explained that sometimes Toyotas, like mine, have issues accepting new batteries, which requires the need for jump starts. I wasn't charged any extra for the help she gave me. As it turns out, Kaileen is the store manager. This place has quality workers and didn't try to price gouge me when I needed a little bit of help. read more

He had another co worker who also helped me (sorry I didn't get your name) but also very kind in looking up the right lights I needed. Not sure if there is a lot of management movement but appreciate the guys that have helped when I do come in. There was even a day awhile back that the store wasn't even open, no Holiday just closed. We went in for a battery pick up as a different O'Reilley sent us since they didn't have it in stock. We were racially profiled by an older man by the name of Joseph (white). We were treated extremely awful. Young lady installed our battery wrong and as we drove off our vehicle kept shutting off (could've had a really bad outcome). We made it safely back to this shop and told Joseph the battery was kind off shutting off and immediately gave us horrible treatment. He said he couldn't help as he wasn't the person who assisted us personally. He refused to help us and as soon as a white lady entered he rushed to assist her. He then responded that he couldn't help us and looked at us up and down. He made a racist comment which left us speechless. Finally the lady that initially installed our battery came out and she said she was the assistant manager. She also laughed when we told her what had happened. It's unfortunate that we paid over $400 and didn't get our battery properly installed, on top of that we received poor customer service and additionally received racist remarks. We will be going back tomorrow to speak to Francisco the general manager to get this situated. We want to hold back from uploading the video of our poor treatment to social media and see if they will remedy our experience. read more

I just stopped in to O'Reilly Auto Parts because I needed a license plate screw. I was greeted by Rick who went above and beyond to help me not only find the right screws for my license plate and some door screws I needed, but he helped me put them in as well. He answered every question I had with a smile and even helped me find some trim adhesive I needed. He saved me quite a bit of time from having to figure this all out myself and didn't miss a beat knowing what products to look for. I was in and out of the store within 12 minutes which helped me be on time for work. I can't say enough about his customer service which speaks loudly for the integrity of this store. Wouldn't recommend this O'Reilly because it seems no one is trained correctly on ordering parts. I called 11/30 ordered 4 parts for my 2005 Kia Sportage, I was told I needed to come in person to pay for the FREIGHT of one item which was $7. I go inside and the same lady I spoke to over the phone told me to pay in full & was told she informed me incorrectly. The manager walks over and agrees & I'm like fine cancel it I'll go to another O'Reilly's closer to me because now I have to get my card. Anywho fast forward to today 12/3 they said they have my parts. HOW?! If I didn't purchase them and you guys were hounding me on a freight fee and paying for the items BEFORE getting them ordered. Came in today as I needed a new car battery (mine died super early in the morning). Was the only place open at 7:30 am and had the battery I needed in stock. I'm giving it a 4 star review as even though generally they will install a car battery when you purchase one with them, they were understaffed and there was only one cashier. On the plus side though, he was very helpful and even allowed us to borrow the tools we needed to change it ourselves. Overall customer service was ok however they need more morning staff available as it was surprisingly busy for a 7:30 am hour. read more

I was going to call the district manager about the not so great experience I had with the store manager(ref. picture) last week but thought he may not take the matter seriously and not do anything about it so instead I'm going to yelp it for the future customers considering using this store. I was getting ready to take my daughter to a preschool last week and had to find out my car wasn't starting so I called my handy neighbor for help and he came right over with a jumper box. I was able to start the car but knew the battery needed to be replaced so after dropping my daughter off went straight to O'Reilly's since they have replaced a car battery in our other car in the past and we liked them the two times we were there... I have a newborn in a carseat so I walked in carrying the carseat and asked the store manager if they can replace the battery. And to that she snappily answered that she needs to take a look at it first. I was pretty frustrated with the whole car battery situation as I don't know anything about cars/have a newborn I had to bring in with me so didn't care for her unpleasant attitude but we headed out the store show her. A nice thing she could have done here is to get the door seeing that I have a big car seat I'm carrying but instead I got to open the door and hold it for her to walk thru... seriously? She takes one look and tells me she can't replace it since it involves unscrewing some bolts... What? What kind of car batteries just float in there? I wanted to argue but I don't have enough knowledge about it and she wasn't going to bother explaining and seems pretty set on not helping so I go to start the car hopefully but it won't... Grrr!! Then I see her walking back into the store without saying anything so I yell "Could you help me jump start the car?" but instead of coming back to response she turns back right by the door and say something... Well of course i can't hear or make it out so once again I have to carry the car seat in to ask her for help. Sigh. Inside the store she points at the other woman and tells me she can help so we walk out and she moves her truck and hooks up the connection. I try to start but the engine won't start and we try one more time but no luck then she tells me if I can wait half an hour until she comes back from making a delivery she can take it apart and replace the battery... Come again? I tell her what I was told by the store manager but she tells me she can remove some bolts and replace the battery so I was super confused but realize I don't have much of choice... so I grab the stroller from the car and stand outside to wait for her. No one else comes out of the store to help me so at this point I'm guessing there is only two women working at this store which is very strange. About 15 mins in of waiting I call my neighbor again to see he his magical jumper box can work again since I'm starting to not want anything to do with O'Reilly's. And Yes! my neighbor's box works again and takes a look at the battery and tells me he can go to Costco and pick up a new battery and then replace it himself since bolts don't seem any difficult... So I drive my car home and Voila! He does what he says and my car is good to go WITHOUT any help from O'Reilly's! And while I was standing outside of the store with my baby the store manager maybe walked by about 4 times and says nothing to me, no checking in or no asking if there is anything she can do... Total lack of empathy and normal human kindness. So this place has changed quite a bit from the last times we've come in(and it was guys we had great experiences with) so I'm here to say we will never set foot into this store again! read more

I called 10 different auto parts stores, nobody had them in stock, and nobody seem to have a sense of urgency--- but they were very happy to NOT have to do anything for me and thanked me very much for calling. I called Travis at this O'Reilly store, and he said come on over we have a couple of what you need. He tested the bad OEM one in the car, helped me work through the transaction--a great deal, loaned me a wrench and I excavated the OEM one from the back of the trunk---(nice job Ford for making the liner hole too small to get the battery through, so I got to tear the carpet out of the trunk). I needed new wiper blades and after reading reviews and looking at prices, I decided the Internet was not the way to go! I purchased the Bosch Icon and the price was pretty much the same as what I could get online. (They were higher priced at autozone). Armando was very helpful with helping me to select what I needed for my car, replaced my wiper blades and I was on my way. Whoever manages this store is doing something right! I gave them a quick call beforehand and they confirmed they had the battery in stock. Once I actually got to the store, Rick helped me out with everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Not only did Rick help me figure out which battery to consider, but he went above and beyond with actually helping me install the new battery. I stopped in the store and purchased a quart of oil and the young man helping me asked if I was topping off the oil in my car. I told him yes that the warning light had just come on.
